Sport Chek in Intercity Shopping Centre should be the first place for everyone checking for sport or outdoor items. We came here to look for a pair of shoes for my wife and me then we bought three pairs as there was a good promotion: back to school saving. I bought a pair of shoe with LED light for my daughter for 36$ (50% discount). There were many sport items with various purposes and styles. They did not have working shoes but sport ones were many enough to choose. The staff was very helpful and energetic.

Due to the covid concerns, I ordered a winter gloves from the online store, and I received a pair of gloves with two left hand gloves. So then I had to come to the store, and exchanged it. Pathetic service I wolud say!

Staff are friendly and the selection is pretty good. However, everything's slightly over-priced and they're always trying to include add-ons at the till. These are likely being pushed on the local staff by corporate management though so it's hard to blame anybody at this location for that.

Did 400$ worth of shopping and I preferred email receipt. I didn't get any email and when asked the manager on duty, he replied that "their system is weird" and takes an hour. I didn't even get my paper copy receipt. Never step into this weird place again.

I wouldn't even give this store a single star. I use to be a frequent customer, however during a recent experience of a child being bullied regarding their appearance by employees at this location I won't step foot in here. I am not one to blame or point fingers, but there were THREE separate employees at this location that made highly inappropriate comments and/or went out of their way to direct negativity about a child's appearance that were almost inconceivable. I feel sick to my stomach even thinking about this. I am disgusted and will never come here again. Please give your employees sensitivity training and teach them the importance of meeting people in retail that don't always fit societys mold. You need to become better and do better Sports Chek, Timmins.. way better.

Staff are polite when asking if you need help and are always within sight if you need to find them. The cashiers were courtious, spoke clearly, and quick to check out my items. The loacation in Intercity mall makes this a staple stop when visiting the mall.

Had to go shoe shopping with the GF. We parked at the mall outside Sport Check figuring we'd shop there first in a long list of mall stores. At Sport Check we found the shoes she needed at the price we wanted. Staff was so very helpful and friendly. Can't get better than that. Oh wait, you can, they give Triangle "Canadian Tire Money" Rewards. How awesome.
