I have been going to Steel City MMA for about a year now training jujitsu. The coaches are great and atmosphere is perfect for some great training. Anyone who is looking to get into the sport I highly recommend coming in, everyone there is always very welcoming.

I use to train under Fryia, back in highschool it was either show up, or he didnt care. But if you show youre ready to train, he will put 100% of his effort in to make sure you will be at your best. I went from muscling people to decent technique, the only thing i didnt get from the guy was decent english because i was a terrible student ????

The owner Brent Fryia is an incredible coach and instructor with years of skilled-knowledge in marital arts, health, fitness, nutrition and as an experienced professional athlete. This is my favourite gym to recommend everyone to go to if you're from Sault Ste. Marie or not!

Very welcoming gym . Great coaches ,trainers, and great energy! Great kids classes as well as offers women’s only classes jiu jitsu and kickboxing which are awesome!! Get your sweat on in kickboxing , boxing or BJJ or do it all for ya’ll serious peeps training for MMA . There’s a weight room and bag room as well as the main training area. All equipment for sale on site as well as loaners if need be. I encourage you to come try it out you’ll love it !!
