Worst goodlife I've ever been to. The little ignorant kid behind the counter was very insulting. No towels available and had to wait 49 minutes after working out to take a shower. Would not recommend

I joined a Trial membership last year, was supposed to have 2 or 3 visits in a 2 or 3 week period to try, I didn't go outside of my trial period but due to the way the employee signed me up, I didn't actually get the trial period. I was obligated to pay them for a full year. Absolute scam of an offer, still trying to have this disaster sorted out, not only do I not live in this city anymore, I don't live within a 4 hour drive of a GoodLife so I've never been able to use their gym... The gym itself wasnt awful or anything but wasn't quite what I'm looking for and had no intention of keeping a membership.Those two 'trial' visits cost me probably 600 dollars by now. Absolutely sleezy. Doesn't matter to them whether you have a family to feed or whether it was their mistake that caused this, a heads up to others, make sure you actually know what you're getting signed up for, these guys aren't afraid to steal from you.

In my honest opinion, GoodLife is one of the most horribly run businesses in the sault. They do not treat you with respect, you're just a number. They tend not to handle issues of sexual misconduct such as harrassment and inviting other women for sexual favours, they look the other way, or continuously say "we need just one more complaint". This is ridiculous. As for management, if they don't clean up their act soon I can imagine the Better Business Bureau would have a field day.

People and staff here is still not ready to accept people of colour. No wonder the stares you get from the staff and other people there. The only time you won’t get judged is if you know someone there. Potential target if you are new there

By far the best gym in Sault Ste. Marie. Super helpful staff, very welcoming environment CLEAN!!! really hot sauna Towel service is a must. Pay the money it is so worth it

It’s a decent gym when the right people are working! Talk about a place where you constantly judged by people working there and there friends that work out there. They love to target people due to many reasons! I even saw targeting today whilst working out. All the staff stand in a group and don’t address real problems, but worry about minor problems that bother no one. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone.

Hours of operation don't seem consistent. Posted hours of operation starting Oct 4th 5 am opening time. Doesn't seem like any staff opened the gym for member use today

Great gym, spacious, clean, and the staff are a treat. The trainers are very knowledgeable, I would recommend this gym to anyone, and especially to people who are looking to kill their fitness goals due to the large range of equipment available. If you are an avid gym goer, nothing in the Sault Ste. Marie area even compares.
