I've been a member at Ironworks gym for many years. The owners Cam and Jordy are great guys. The gym is kept very clean. Parking is available. I really like the atmosphere at Ironworks. Open 24/7. You require a key fob after hours. I definatly recommend this gym to young and old. 5 star rating.

Jordy refused to provide any reimbursement or full extension of my year membership during COVID, citing exactly: “Under the Consumer Protection Act and our contract policies members are not eligible for refund after the initial 10 days of the contract.” He only provided a “lock-in” membership fee, and 2 months credit (out of the many months I had left on my membership). All other gyms in Sarnia were offering automatic extensions of memberships until fully re-opening, OR full reimbursement out of the months left. I feel robbed, since I paid and received literally nothing for all those months. Top notch customer service ???? I really did love this gym, but I can’t help but feel a heavy distaste about this place after this total lacklustre service and support after being a member for over 8 years. I understand small business’ were affected by COVID — just like all of us. *UPDATE*: Jordy, you may post my "options" in an update to your reply, so that any other customer may see as well. Thanks!

classic style gym thats been a part of our city for many years. With great management, im not surprised to see the innovative measures taken to create a clean and safe environment that works. The system in place is both organized and convenient. A better mouse trap then some much larger chain fitness centers

Ironworks is a very community focused health and wellness centre. They have worked so hard to ensure that people feel safe with multiple upgrades throughout the various waves of the pandemic. I'm so thankful they have created such a safe and community focused space for people to improve their mental and physical health/well-being. I have been a member at Ironworks gym for over 8 years. It was my first gym I ever joined. My family and I appreciate the the expert knowledge of all of the trainers. There is always someone nearby to help setup the machines properly and help us maintain safe form. The management is exceptional in every aspect. The cleanliness, quality of equipment, safely distanced workout spaces, professional and friendly staff and zero judgement environment is first class across the board. Try Ironworks if you haven't yet. They will make you feel right at home whether a beginner or a pro.

Jordy and his staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Being a gym owner myself, Iron Works is a top-notch training facility. It is very clean, safe and has a great atmosphere. I really like the classic weight section. They have an abundance of machines and free weights for any training goal you might have. If you are looking for a gym in town that's not over crowded and all about getting results head to Iron Works!

I finally returned to Ironworks Health and Wellness 3 weeks ago after the 4 month Covid shutdown. Appointments are currently being used for workouts to limit the number of people in the gym. I was extremely impressed with the changes they have made to ensure client safety. It begins at the front door with temperature testing and mandatory hand sanitizing. After signing in, you are issued with a personal sanitizing spray bottle. The entrance is marked for one way traffic leading to the gym floor. The exercise equipment has been separated into individual pods which can only be used by one person at a time. At no time is anyway working out near you. Floor markings ensure one way traffic on the gym floor. There are additional hand sanitizing stations and disinfectants available throughout the gym floor. You are responsible for cleaning the equipment before and after use. In addition, staff sanitize equipment that is not being used. I feel absolutely comfortable returning to work out there again. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of their clients and staff. I would recommend Ironworks to anyone looking for a place to work out or to anyone with health and safety concerns. They cater to all ages, all fitness levels and all disability levels. The staff and clients are all extremely friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. I have met some great people there. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
