Clean. Good selection of weights and cardio equipment. Great instructors. Consistent and reliable classes. Virtual class options. Friendly environment. A mix of all ages.

Returned after renovations and was pleasantly surprised to see many of my previous complaints taken care of. Nicer locker rooms, more updated equipment, and the return of temperature control on the shower all help to make this a good facility. Would leave a 5 star review if it offered hot yoga to make the ultimate plan worth the money in Sarnia.

This gym could be so much better, sadly it is terribly managed. There are many broken things that have not been repaired in weeks/months. The sauna is works 50% of the time and is rarely cleaned properly, I saw the same wad of paper towel on the floor for a week. One of the two massage chairs are almost always out of service. And the locker room always smells moldy.

Great place to work out. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Always can find a space to work our or a machine to use even in the busy season.

Yes, this GoodLife is somewhat small. Yes, equipment is limited for that very reason. Yes, during peak hours there are lots of trainers taking prime space for clients. All that said I've found this location to be clean and well maintained. The staff I've encountered, including the trainers, are always friendly and courteous. The same goes for the majority of the patrons. I can tell the classes are a huge hit because they are always packed. It's a nice option for a town with very few of them. Go off peak hours and you'll be fine.

You might want to change your name from 24/7 to 24/4, considering you don't stay open 24 hours on friday or the weekend.

Jonathan Krall

Not the best goodlife but not the worst either. Change rooms have very small showers and the front door system is oddly sensitive, one slight tilt and you are locked out for a day(according to staff).

Nice and clean and very well maintained. The yoga chicks clog the parking lot ..leave room for seniors to get in Rexall- parking there means 92 year old parents have to walk from far end of lot as the yoga chicks and their suvs hog all the good parking spots.

So far I like it much better than my home gym. I very much dislike that showers aren't to be used when unstaffed. The personal training is fantastic but the cost is a little high in my opinion. My more local gym just has one or two free trainers that cycle around offering help when ever as part of their 60 dollar per month membership. Goodlife is a little cheaper at 40 per month but if you want a trainer you're pretty much at a car payment per month. I'm guessing after my first 3 personal trainer workouts I'll have to bail on the personal trainer. I make good money but I could have a 3rd car for the same price hahaha

Staff have a lot to say I don't like it, it's not friendly communication it's more like watching me do my thing in the gym and come warn me about waping and the st.u.p.id mask even tho doing everything, if you want to be my friend being annoying is definitely not the way, probably it would get better if i talk to them, but I pay to use the gym, I don't pay to satisfy people work in it.

I have visited many Goodlife locations around Canada and I would put this at top for inconvenience. There are no showers or sauna when there is no staff. My question is..... Why don't you hire more staff considering Goodlife is one of the top gym franchises in the country? Who has non functioning showers in a gym? This is ridiculous. This has to be addressed as soon as possible. There has to be liability concerns with this. How about someone gets hurt working out alone? How about a male and female alone? Theft? Damages? The biggest thing is someone hurting themselves. Liability! Fix this Goodlife!

The staff at this Goodlife are friendly and professional. During COVID they have gone above and beyond to make us feel safe and welcome at this location.

Great fitness center. The atmosphere is very friendly and the clientele are from all walks in life. With the baby sitting room, parents are able to continue their fitness programs,. The rewards program is also a very nice feature. The staff are very helpful and the personal trainers excel at their profession. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone, and have.

Signed up for the 3 day free trial because I was travelling. I have worked out at Goodlife before a year or two ago,and I understand you are a business and need to sign people up and sell personal training. However I was on the road and wasn’t sure where I was going to live so if there’s no Goodlife nearby then I would choose a different gym. Explained this to the lady on the phone, and said no problem just come on in. Then explained it again to the person at the desk. The next 5-10 minutes was spent being ignored and told about deals and signing up now and freezing my account. Eventually I said... is it 3 days free with signup or... Dirty looks and told she needs to go talk to the manager. Then the one guy left at the desk kept trying to sell me stuff. She came back and eventually gave me a piece of paper so I could workout 3 times. Didn’t say a word to me after that. Come in next day I had to get them to open the door for me and more dirty looks. I get you want the signup commission but no need to be rude if I don’t sign up. Didn’t even go back my 3rd time. Needless to say won’t be going back to a Goodlife. There are enough Independent and passionate gym owners who wouldn’t do this so. Other then that gym seemed to have everything you needed didn’t use the locker rooms though so not sure how those were

julian mckay

This is by far the worst gym I’ve ever been to. They turn off the water for the showers after the staff leaves for the day. It’s a 24/7 facility so if you have weird work hours this gym is not for you. Don’t believe me go check it out for yourself. Seriously tho what kind of gym turns off the showers!!!

Not good for people visiting from out of town... Wanted to use their facilities after the beach since we're in Sarnia just for the day and we have the all Canada membership (just used my membership in Saskatoon on Wednesday) but their gate system wouldn't let us in... Not cool...

GoodLife is the best gym in town! Well priced too.

Male personal trainers have no boundaries. I really enjoyed the facility but I'm not willing to continue going to place where when somebody complains about being touched inappropriately by their personal trainer they, the member, are pressured to cancel their membership.

I've been a member at GoodLife Fitness Sarnia Oak Acres for since 2017. They have a great group of staff and trainers. The staff are all very friendly, cheery and positive. I've had the opportunity to hire and work one-on-one with two trainers at GoodLife and I would say both trainers I hired were very educated and knowledgeable in their field as trainers. These trainers are so dedicated to their profession that their education extends beyond the aspects of physical training and goes into other areas such as nutrition and fascia stretching which is all knowledge they pass on to their clients. I also take a couple of weekly group classes on a regular basis and enjoy them all. The instructors are always energetic and enthusiastic for each class. The members are also very friendly. As a regular attendee day after day week after week, you run into the same people and you begin to say "hi" to each other which turns into a chit chat over time. No one makes you feel uncomfortable and or like you don't belong at GoodLife! They have great equipment and new things come in year after year. It's a great gym to be a member of!
