We took our daughter here and we love it. We spoke to the owners of the Elite Karate Club, Trevor and Nicole. They were very friendly and accommodating. Trevor told me about some of the history of the company. At this dojo they teach Shōrin-ryū karate and small circle jiu jitsu They are a not-for-profit club. All funds go back into running the club and all of the sensei's are volunteers and give back to the community. They have been teacher karate in St.Thomas for over 20 years!!! They have a strong sense of community and work with everybody to accommodate around people needs to make sure that everyone has a fair chance to take classes. Classes start from 4 years old through to adults. Although different ages groups have different time schedules. The dojo was very busy and the classes were all quite packed. Our daughter loved it, she had a great time. Watching from behind the scenes I could tell that the sensei's were not only very experienced, but they all really enjoy what do and teach. We are definitely going to sign up to be full time students. I am very glad that we found this place!
