I have been a part of BALB for only 3 months now but the experience is like no other. I have loved every minute, from the daily classes, community and support from other Members and overall approach and support from Michelle. The changes I have made have been a direct reflection of the BALB community and all it and Michelle have to offer. I have already encouraged friends to join and will continue to share with those around me the role BALB has played in changing my life, for the better.

I absolutely love being a part of the BALB community. NEVER in my life have I been so consistent with fitness classes, let alone the 6 a.m. club! I honestly feel the only reason I've stuck with it is because of Michelle. Her classes are challenging, never the same and FUN!! Michelle is motivating, encouraging, extremely enthusiastic and so positive. Classes are online but I feel her energy radiate through the screen. BALB is more than just fitness classes, Michelle teaches us how to live a balanced lifestyle. It's ok to have that glass of wine and eat that piece of cake. Everything in moderation and everything with a positive mind. I'm so happy I found this online, interactive community.

I have been lucky enough to complete almost four sessions, two personal training, with Michelle and Be Active. Live Better and have just signed up for another. For me, her various classes with equally as experienced trainers and experts are more valuable than any gym membership. Michelle takes the time to get to know each client, their strengths and weaknesses, and works with them to maximize their potential. While she can definitely be tough and knows just how to push you, she is also incredibly kind, accommodating and invested in your health and wellbeing. Taking these classes are the first time, ever, I've been dedicated to fitness and health outside of school sports. Big kudos to Michelle and her team!

Amazing Studio! I love being apart of the BALB community. I love the in studio workouts in the morning. The online workouts are incredible during these uncertain times. Heart Rate monitoring is fantastic to help push limits and improve performance. Michelle is fun, vibrant and motivating. The classes are always different and target muscle groups and endurance. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

For someone who hasn’t worked out in quite some time, it’s easy to get overwhelmed when starting to work out again... but Michelle and the BALB community make it so easy and comfortable to just MOVE! She often encourages you (with fun dance moves as well lol), offers modifications during the workouts and checks in to make sure you have all the tools necessary to make the most of your workouts! “One is better than None” is something Michelle said in one of my first workouts and it really stuck with me... I’m here and I’m moving, no matter what the pace! I’m so happy I joined!!!!

Before joining, I found working out to be boring, tedious and repetitive which resulted in being unmotivated. She is constantly reinventing the workouts with intensity as the weeks go on. Michelle's love for fitness, health and wellbeing is evident through the connections she makes with each client in her classes and the time she takes to offer knowledgable advice. Furthermore, I appreciate the comradery that we have in each class and that Michelle accommodates everyone equally no matter what their age, sex or abilities are. For myself personally, I have seen my body change and become stronger in the last 2 sessions and most times I leave a class feeling proud that I was able to accomplish what Michelle had set out for us. I’ve been a member of Be Active Live Better for 2 years now and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a personalized, motivating, and fun way to get your body moving and see quick results! Michelle is so lively and knowledgeable, and every workout is such a great experience. You know you’ve hit the jackpot when your workouts turn into a spontaneous dance party! There are so many classes for every individual—Tabata, Weights, Spinning, Cardio, etc. My favourite is Tabata—it’s 60 minutes of intensity and really makes my body feel great. BALB is definitely the place to be if you want to feel part of a community, especially during hard times when we are all isolated from each other. Thank you Michelle for providing such a positive, motivating and fun atmosphere—and of course for kicking my butt every day!

Be Active Live Better is about more than just working out. It’s a community and lifestyle. The workouts are awesome but the feeling of inclusiveness and belonging is even better. The online classes that Michelle does are fantastic! I moved to online classes at the beginning of covid lockdown at one of my lowest points of the year. She showed up everyday with a new class, new moves and with so much energy and motivation. It changed my year. I lost weight, gained strength, took my life back and gained confidence. The on-line classes are amazing. The instructor is always energetic, knowledgeable and very positive. Doing the live class in the morning is a great way to start your day and if you can't make it, you can follow the recorded class for an amazing work out at any time. I have been doing classes with Michelle for over 2 years now – and REALLY enjoy it! I started with Baby and Me class, moved on to all different kinds of classes, from Tabata to Strength, Cycle Yoga and Cardio Box, even got my husband hooked and had my kids do classes with her, which they loved.
