Don't know I haven't been working out lately, I don't know if they're staff are friendly or if it's cheap to register and no contract.

I love the constant change of activities during each workout! I’m never bored for a second and it’s never too much to take at one time. Back to the gym for the first time in 6 years, with a neck injury but it’s a great at my own pace workout. I even got in the orange zone my first workout! Alex is a great instructor! She is really helpful throughout the workout and she has great music. I love that I don’t have to constantly be readjusting headphones and a playlist. It’s fun and easy to stay focused on your workout when they are already playing great music. Orange Theory is the perfect fit for me! A fun AND productive workout! It’s a friendly place and awesome to see results so quickly.

I love how motivational all the coaches are! I struggle with my depression and anxiety but coming to the gym has been helping me so much. I love how I don’t need to think about what workouts to do; each day they are all planned out and the coaches always help me if I need! Thank you so much for the amazing atmosphere. I was always afraid to go to the gym but not anymore.

Coming to this gym inspired me to become a healthier person and they push me to my limits and coming to this gym makes me excited to go workout

The instruction and energy in the class are both amazing.

Orange Theory is a high intensity workout that always has a helpful instructor leading, guiding and assisting. There is a lot of variety in the workout, which includes cardio, rowing and floor work. When I look around at class, there is a range of age, ability, and skill, but I see that it is beneifcial and enjoyable for everyone. Orange Theory will always meet you where you are at and help you reach your personal goals.

I love everything about going to Orange Theory! The workouts are great, the staff are so welcoming to everyone, and the covid safety is top notch!

Winona Ates

I like OT because its flexible and works around my hectic schedule. I like that its not just one exercise (like the way that spin class is only on a bike). At OT i get a total body workout doing different exercises and every class is different so im not doing the same repetitive exercise every time. That gets boring and causes me to lose interest fast. I also like that its like having a personal trainer working with us. I paid for a personal trainer before and it was hella expensive. This works into my bugdet.

I have been a member of OTF Regina East for over 2 years now. when I started, I was not into fitness at all. I felt dumb going to the gym because I had no idea what I was doing! I knew I needed to try something, so my co-workers talked me into trying Orangetheory. That first day was all it took to get my hooked. All levels of staff are absolutely incredible. The folks who walk you through the facility were kind and understanding. The coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are there with you every step of the way. Since joining Orangetheory, I haven't just learned about fitness. I have learned more about me, and what I am capable of. I have lost a significant amount of weight (70+ lbs) and have been able to maintain the loss. I couldn't have done it without such an amazing group of people! Thank you to OTF Regina East for helping me on my fitness journey. I look forward to what comes next!

Was a member for only 2 months, but I had a really good time and would not hesitate to recommend this gym to anyone. PROS -All the coaches are awesome. Their energy and encouragement really keep you going, especially Janine! -Every exercise/run/workout can be tailored to where you are at. Whether you are fit or not, you set the speed of your run or walk, or the weight you lift, so its very flexible for everyone. Make it as hard or easy as you want. -Lots of classes during all hours of the day -Very Clean and they took the cleaning/COVID restrictions seriously -Was easy to cancel my membership when I was done, no high pressure sales pitch or anything sketchy. -Burned a ton of calories Not Pro's -The price is expensive, and only the top tier membership really made sense for me. And even then, I had to go 3-4 times a week minimum to get my moneys worth. At the lower -During COVID, a lot of the classes are full due to the 8 person limit, and this can be a challenge to get into the one you want. The waitlists do move, and over 2 months I only didn't make it into one or two classes I wanted. But take this with the context of COVID, and realize it's only temporary, and be thankful they are even open at all. This sort of HIIT isn't for everybody and depending on what your goals are, might not be for you. If you want to body-build or do lots of power lifting and compound movements, I would go to a more traditional gym. But if you are maybe a bit newer to exercise/fitness, want to sweat, build up your running/rowing and overall health and having a coach teach/encourage you during every movement, I would highly recommend it.

Claire Hanna

Pros: amazing workout that achieves a bit of everything, cardio, abs and strength. It’s constantly changing so no two days are ever the same. I love watching my heart rate during class to see when I need to kick it up a notch or chill out. Cons: the studio is very full and I have to sign up 4 days in advance to get into a class sometimes. I have an irregular work schedule so it’s been very difficult to get my workouts in, especially if I want to show up to a class within the next 5 hours. They also suggested I do the 7-8 workouts per month plan and I’ve never been able to get that many in because of how over capacity the classes are and it’s expensive. Sad that I can’t even utilize the classes I’ve paid for.

I really liked being able to watch my progress on the screen through my heart rate monitor. It is good motivation I think to be able to see other peoples numbers as well. It is a different atmosphere and I think its good to change it up from your regular routine. People will work harder when put into a group setting like that, instead of going to the gym by themselves.

Lise Gauthier

Orange Theory is the first gym I've ever joined. I have always been a work out at home kind of girl. At 51 years old my chiropractor told me about OT and how much she enjoyed it. She mentioned the free class option so I convinced my daughter to come with me (I was a bit hesitant to go by myself to say the least) - Nadine was our instructor and we were both instantly hooked! She gave us a few more free classes so we could try it out a couple more times but really there was no looking back! We each bought the 30 pack to start with and I have just purchased the Elite Membership and my daughter is about to do the same! What do I like about OT? I like that you just have to show up and the workout is already prepared for you - I know I would NEVER work out with such intensity by myself at any other gym or even with my own personal trainer for that matter. It's a very motivating atmosphere to work out in- the music-the lighting-the group. Mostly the fact that you don't have to stop to think about what you're going to do next. The instructors guide you through the entire hour.I love ALL the instructors, they are very helpful and are there to guide you every step of the way - but they're NOT in your face throughout the whole workout which is nice. The front desk staff is always very helpful and informed as well. OT is the gym for me! I love it!

I love having a coach there to push and encourage me to get through. The music is upbeat and keeps me going. There are always modifications that can be made to the floor workouts, which is great for me since I'm a beginner in most of those aspects. I love the enthusiasm and the community.

OTF has changed my life in many ways! This program has allowed me to stay accountable to myself for the first time in years! I love love love the people. Everyone is very encouraging, friendly and professional. I like it that I don’t have to think. Just do what the trainer says. I like it that it is a little different each time. Because I have to book a time I never miss a class unlike traditional gyms where I say I’m going and never get there. Icing on the cake......Harrison’s playlist :)

Coaches are awesome, music is fantastic! I love that every workout is completely different. I just wish that I could learn to love rowing! ;)

Teal Rybchuk

Love Orangetheory! I've attended OTF for 4 years now and still enjoy it just as much as I when I first signed up. The workouts are fantastic (each day is different) and the trainers are motivating and so accommodating. I've had 3 children in the last 4 years and they would always give me alternate exercises during my pregnancies and postpartum if needed. Not to mention, the customer service is always so friendly the second you walk in. If you're looking for a judgment-free gym that keeps you accountable, this is the place for you. I love being able to book/cancel online, work out in a group setting where each member is at a different level but there for the same common goal. It's nice to go to a gym where the whole workout is planned for you (half cardio/half weights), so you don't need to walk around gym equipment in a typical gym wondering what to do next. Only con would be the price. It's quite expensive for 8x classes a month, however it keeps me accountable and it's made me love working out!

Roxanne Smith

OTF is the best! I have been active my whole life, and have tried many different gyms and such, but Orange Theory stole my heart. You will experience a wide range of different exercises, changing up slightly each class, and you get to do this all while being coached, supported and encouraged for the entire hour there (and the coaches are ALL INCREDIBLE!). As I was running on the treadmill during my workout yesterday, I couldn’t help but think to myself, “These coaches are some of the happiest and most supportive people I know, and to boot they absolutely love their job!” I also love the efficiency of the hour long workout... you arrive, you workout (wasting zero time which often happens when you are at a gym on your own), and you are done! If you haven’t tried OT, you are missing out... go get your free trial class and see for yourself!

Joyleen Podgursky

Love the variety of routines. I can work at my own pace and not feel intimidated. The coaches are helpful and keep me on track with floor exercises.

Maddy Frank

The coaches are so motivating and seeing my heart rate motivates me to push even harder! I always feel amazing after my workouts and the staff are always so friendly. If you've never tried Orangetheory, I would highly recommend it!

Olivia Stewart

I love that it’s loud and energetic, it helps you get through the hour faster as well and everyone was so helpful and kind. I love it there.

Run very unprofessionally, management is a joke. You commit over two years to the job work hard, You get injured at work and apply for workers comp and they fire you, I’ve never witnessed grown adults with such childish behaviour. If your missing high school drama, this will be the perfect membership for you!

Workouts - I like the balance of predictability and variety (knowing what to do from repetition and learning new things as well). The workouts are quick and seamless (no stopping to think about what exercise to do next). At first I needed to pace myself through my workout but now I find I am more confident to try heavier weights and I was impressed to find that my old "all out" fastest pace on the treadmill is now my new "push"! Staff and facility - I like the upbeat, friendly attitude of the staff and that they are not too much in my face when I am not into talking and just need to get my workout done. The building is clean and there are necessities in the changerooms like hair elastics, deodorant and extra socks!

Melissa Martens

Great workout! Instructor was awesome! Love how you can see on the monitor where your workout intensity is at and where it should be at. Will definitely come back.

The staff is amazing! The coaches are always upbeat and encouraging, they make workouts fun yet challenging. Always feel like I have accomplished a great workout when i'm done.

I got an apology email later and a refund, hopefully it won't happen again with other customers. The training is good so should be the customer service too. Worst dishonest services, no respect to clients, inability to send training summary after workouts and no one cares to fix the problem, they give a money back guarantee certificate and then they charge you after you cancel your membership, and they keep changing their words, they don't register you on classes correctly and I couldn't register online by myself as they did my account wrong and did not make any efforts to correct it or even respect my complain and take it into consideration.

Updating my review: I've now been here for over 6 years. And, I still feel the same. The workouts are fun, challenging and incorporate a great balance of strength, endurance and overall fitness. The coaches and staff are always amazing. Supportive, fun and always positive. They encourage and support your successes as you meet and exceed any fitness goals you have. I highly recommend trying Orange Theory Fitness out!! Have been working out here since it opened over 3 years ago. The workouts are never boring and always challenging different elements of my fitness. And the staff here are amazing. Always amazing. Positive, energetic, and helpful. Always willing to help, encourage and celebrate successes. I can't imagine imagine life with OTF, Nadine and her fantastic crew.

Money grabbing cancellation policies and no communication amongst staff members. Moved up in a class time and was told it was no big deal at the time but then swiped for 2 very expensive punches. Wouldn’t have switched to a more convenient time if they were charging me for a second one. Slimey.

I like the accommodating memberships and front desk staff. I like the schedule for the workouts. Overall it's the perfect gym for me. In and out in an hour, without having to think about what I am going to do that day.

What are you waiting for? No, really! What the heck are you waiting for? This is a question that I asked myself a few short weeks ago. I was always waiting for Monday or the first of the month or first of the year! I was always making excuses and could turn pretty much anything into an excuse on why I couldn’t do something. To be honest, I felt like I didn’t deserve to be healthy and happy; my self-esteem and self-worth was beyond low. Well, my first of the month was on October 18th when I had my first class at Orangetheory! It was time to end this continuous cycle. It was time to put on my big girl pants and get moving. Stop the excuses, no bullsh*t, and no more empty promises. No more pity parties! No more negative self-destructive thinking. It is time to put the mask away and to truly be happy and develop that contagious smile! It was time to put my words into actions and show the people who surround me how much I wanted a change and what I was going to do to get there! You don’t need to be amazing at what you are doing on your first day. You just have to try! There will always be someone better than you and someone who is not! Strive to learn from those who are crushing their workouts and accomplishing their goals. Be that encouraging friend or that high five to show the ones struggling to push themselves that extra step. Remember, you can’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle of their journey. One step at a time, one day at a time, one week at a time. It gets easier and easier! Create some goals which will help you accomplish those bigger goals. Celebrate the little steps because those little steps help you get to where you want to go. Do it for you! Do it for your mind, your heart and your health! It isn’t easy shifting your mindset and your life but I will tell you that it is worth it. Every sweat turns into a smile, each class turns into an accomplishment, and each day turns into an improvement! If you are waiting for a sign, here it is! The time is now! It’s time to show yourself how important you are! Here is your push! I challenge you to start doing something now for you. I dare you! OrangeTheory has been the place that I am able to call my 2nd home. The coaches are awesome, you get what you pay for, the staff is friendly and great at explaining terms and conditions, the members are great motivators on those challenging days. OrangeTheory has taught be to put myself and my health first. I have made some truly amazing bonds since I’ve stepped into this gym! Come give it a try!

I enjoy the workouts at OTF - I love that the heart rate monitor “shows” my progress in real time and that the workouts are scripted so I don’t have to think about what to do next. The instructors/coaches and front desk staff are great as well!!

I like the heart rate on the screens - it keeps you honest! I like the trainers - enthusiastic and they get the most out of you! OrageTheory has to be the most crooked gym that I've ever had the displeasure of signing up for. The trainers and the classes themselves are fantastic. However, the issue comes in to play when I went to cancel my unlimited membership for financial reasons. I was going on maternity leave and could no longer afford the expense. Instead of just cancelling the membership, I was convinced to just put it on a "price freeze" until my year of leave was up. Seemed like a decent deal. One month later I was getting charges on my card and when I called to ask what they were, I was THEN notified that these charges were to hold my current membership price. I explained how shady that it was that I had never been told that (they did say it was in the fine print, so shame on me) and I wanted to just cancel right then and there. They spoke with their management and said that they would still continue my price hold but without the monthly charge. (I also kept in mind that my partner went on a price freeze for the same time frame, one week prior and has yet to incur any additional charge). I figured that would work and although I was still leary about the company, I did have intentions to go back to the gym. Unfortunately my leave ended and when I was to go back to work, I found myself in a position of being on strike and, again, being unable to pay for the membership. I noticed the charge attempt on my card (three times) and to clear everything up, I went to cancel once and for all until a time came that I could just sign up again for whatever pricepoint they offered at that point. Well, according to them I "can not" cancel my membership until they charge me $150 - the cost of their one month unlimited membership - because they "can not" cancel an inactive account. I don't have $150 spare. I barely have enough money for groceries to feed my children. They offered an extension of my "hold", but I don't know when my work will stop striking, let alone when I will have a spare $150 to literally pay to cancel since I will now NEVER set foot in another OrangeTheory gym again. Ever. Banks will literally make exceptions on mortgage payments due to striking and a gym "can't cancel an inactive membership"? It's ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned it's the shadiest business I've ever had to deal with and they weren't upfront about a single thing. Each new step had some other "hoop" I need to jump through and I have zero confidence that if I even paid the $150 that I would be able to cancel at that point without incurring some other kind of charge. *Edit* Borrowed some money to pay for the additional cost, in cash, just to be rid of them. Not even 12 hours later, I'm still being notified that they're attempting to charge my card. TLDR; Super shady business and don't ever sign up or you'll have to make stop payments through your bank.

Karen

There are lots of HIIT classes out there but I love the Orange Theory classes mostly because the coaches really focus on helping you be your best self on your own fitness track, not anyone else's. The other folks in the classes are so encouraging instead of competitive. I love that we all cheer each other on to our own personal bests - oh and it helps that it's always a fresh and new workout, keeps me from feeling in a rut.

Jenilee Gaudon

Love the studio!! It's like one big family. The workout is great as well. Each workout is different and you always push yourself to your limits. The longer you workout at Orangetheory, the stronger you'll get and the better you'll feel!!

I have been a member at the Regina East location for over 2 years. The workouts and trainers are great. But lately I found myself getting bored of the workouts, so I wanted to change things up. I started at a new gym so I could do my own workouts for a while, but told OT I would be back. I went in to stop my membership and they tried to get to me stay, but when I said I needed a change they gave me the papers to sign and then proceeded to ignore me. I left the building without getting a goodbye. I found this customer service very poor and different from their typical standard. A couple weeks go by and I checked my bank statement and saw that they charged me again. I called in and told the lady what had happened. She was very rude and said it’s in the contact you signed that if you don’t cancel by X date, you get charged for another month. I was off put by her tone and said, okay I understand but I wasn’t told that when I signed the cancellation papers. She said that’s a lie because they would have. I will never be back to OTF. The way the employees treated me while cancelling the membership was uncalled for. I had nothing but good things to say before this and always referred my friends. I have not named the employees in this review, but I hope they read this and change their approach for the next customer.

Orange Theory is definitely the perfect gym. Using your heart rate as your guide you work at your own pace to achieve your own goals. That's what I lile the most about it. I also appreciate how up beat and encouraging the coaches are and how everyone makes you feel welcome.

I love working out at OTF, it’s the best workout I’ve ever tried and I look forward to going every time...who can say that about a workout?!? OTF is the place to be!
