I've been a member with Evolution Fitness for over ten years now, and I have nothing but good things to say. The Scarth St location specifically is very clean, well-maintained, and has a great selection of high-quality equipment. Further, in past customer surveys that have been sent out, I have said an earlier opening time on weekends and the addition of a specific type of equipment that I often use at other locations would be great, and both of those requests have been met. While I'm not sure if my request directly influenced those decisions, it is clear they value customer satisfaction and are committed to continous improvement.

Spent 2.5 months trying to get my money back, front desk staff was always friendly and helpful but manager Matt avoided my calls and never returned them until i finally went in in person. Terrible management, would not recommend this location to anyone.

Really friendly staff. Smaller workout area and fewer weights/machines, but if you go in the afternoon it's never busy. Locker rooms are top notch as well.

Great place to work out. It's a smaller facility because it's downtown but it's nice and clean and has a great sauna. Probably deserves 5 stars but it would be nice to have an infrared sauna too instead of a tanning booth and a trap bar and I want to give them something to shoot for in getting even better.

Downtown Regina had been lacking a great gym for years -- enter Gold's Gym Executive! Incredibly friendly staff, super clean facilities, and the best group fitness programs. For those who work and/or live downtown, this couldn't be any more convenient.

They are very bad with their service. I even gave them the notice to cancel my membership and also they never gave any notice by mail or email and after 6months i get a call to pay 1000$ from collection. Please make sure and take a follow when cancelling. They hav spoiled my credit

The one downtown is the only 1 I know and it's pretty cool. Not many people and a lot of space. The only problem is the schedule. Should be open until 11 PM everyday.

Fewer weights and machines than other locations, but staff are always polite, place is always clean, and location is extremely convenient for those working downtown. Good for getting those quick workouts in, but not ideal for serious training sessions.

I've been trying to show up at the gym around 9:15pm on weekdays, the doors were locked. When I signed up, they told me that they were open later. They made no mention of changing hours to me, driving there and home was an inconvience.

Ignored multiple attempts from myself to reach out in regards to my personal training sessions, then 7 months after my personal training contract had ended they withdrew money for sessions I never recieved. Watch your bank accounts closely with these guys!

Do not sign a memebership with theses people you will never get out of it, several attempts were made writing head office, my contract was done last year and they still refuse to stop billing me.

Represented as one gym but not true especially when it comes to administration. Terrible experience. Definitely taking advantage of me as a steady client in the cancellation process. Great facility. Always clean and stocked.Very friendly and helpful staff. All the machines are in working order. Personal trainer (Reg) always kicks me a** every session but is very informative and explains things well. I can see improvement in just a few months.

Totally misleading. State you can work out at three large locations. BUT YOU CAN'T!! They are not the same company as the other three locations! They just have the same name. The original owner still owns this one but not the big three gyms in the East South and North. Not cool

Never join this gym as they are fraud as i called several times to cancel my membership and they said its done then still they charged me when i cancel from bank they are asking to pay money!! Big fraud !! Never sign contract with these theives!!

I was enrolled by lies : i was told i can cancel anytime , i tried to cancel and got to know that i cant , so plz do read the contract before signing . And its too small gym , not enough equipment for core , very crowded at peak hours, hate locker rooms cos they are too small , all women Are stuffed in there like cows, doin makeup and taking hours to get ready , disgusting mix of perfumes and hair spray smells !! In short too small space ! Not worth it for 60$ a month ! Its less than 10 $ worth a month! I am stuck in for a year, will never ever renew!!

Worst gym. Me and my friend joined. I have a medical reason and cannot excercise. They are charging me cancelation fees $199 When i contacted my friend, they canceled her membership for free. I informed manager about cancelation of my friend' memebership he said she was not our member. We used to go together how is it possible?

Great Gym!!!!. Located right in the heart of Regina, perfect location for anyone that works downtown and wants to get a work out in right before work, at lunch or right after work before heading home. Very clean inside and one of the newer gyms in Regina so everything in it is new as well. I am very surprised at the all the options for group fitness classes at a downtown location, lots of option in classes and times. The staff all seems very friendly and more than wilingl to help out in any way they can. Two thumbs up!!!!

Second-class Gym at First-class prices. CONs: Not enough lockers, lockers not big enough for a gym bag or coat. You can't rent a locker, yet when I'm the first one in in the morning, a large number are already used. No standing/dressing room around the lockers - you have to step over everyone's stuff on the floor. Virtually no core equipment & no space for floor work. No Tracks, Courts, or Pools. Only the Men's has a steamroom, and rules about showering first are not visibly posted so it stinks in there. Short, loud playlist of the same 15 songs with a lot of Advertising - (I pity the staff who have to be brainwashed by it all day!) Line-ups to use the inadequate sink and showers, and the Taps on the sink haven't worked since they opened. (This keeps being brought up but they won't replace them) Everyone I know there got a different price - they scam the weak negotiators and try to lock people in with contracts instead of good service. They try to upsell with trainers and don't allow outside trainers (But I don't think many gyms do anymore). My contract ends in spring - I can't wait to get back to the Y. PROs: Flooring and Cosmetic materials are new/attractive. If you want to make due with less, don't mind feeling like a canned sardine when in the locker room, and are not frustrated by water taps that don't work, it is (marginally) closer into the downtown than the YMCA is, but you really can't compare a full gym like the Y to a minimalist one like Gold's. CONCLUSION: In Gold's marketing terms, "Executive" = "budget" or "Light". It would be good to see more of what other people paid, but if you decide to go here, I would suggest you don't pay more than ~$35 per month (in 2015 dollars). More would be ok if you get value from going to other Gold's locations as well; but make sure they include multiple locations in the price - not every membership allows it.

This gym stole COVID-19 contact tracing information from a restaurant to use the names and phone numbers to attract business to their location. I received a text message from "Matt" greeting me with my name and the three names of the people that I went to lunch with. Saying that "a friend" of mine gifted us a VIP pass. First I want to say that I don't know a single person that uses this gym facility, let alone one that would recommend the four of us together. Second I'm eight months pregnant, and clearly not looking to join a new gym. This practice is disgusting and this business should be ashamed.

Agree with the last review. This gym is running only because of it's name and location. Old repetitive songs, the music is turned up for a short time. Long wait times for towel service in evening due to them being understaffed at the time. Looks like there is no real management. Don't lock down to the 2 year membership, not at this location!!

This place might be right for some, but it definitely wasn't right for me. When I first moved to Regina I tried it out. No proper squat rack. That was the deal breaker!

I generally like this gym. My only two constructs are that in my opinion, there is insufficient leg equipment. Also, the fancy water dispenser onsite appears to be out of service more often than it is working. If Gold's Exec would add some more leg equipment, and change out that silly fancy water dispenser for something more practical, I'd happily give the facility a five star review.

UPDATE: Owner called and made it right. Thank you! Called to cancel membership in June. Told us we might as well wait until August as there wouldn't be any charges until then when they planned to reopen. Called to cancel today and was told takes a month for cancellations so will now be charged for a month. Husband did the same but they told him he could freeze his account for another 2 months to save membership fee in the event he wanted to rejoin. I asked if I could freeze account then and cancel and was told no that you can't cancel frozen accounts. so we will be on the hook for a min 1 month fees each just to cancel when we could of without being charged when we first called.

Love it! Working and living downtown, makes this location so ideal! The staff is always so welcoming, everything is so clean, and organized! The classes are great, but it's only because the instructors are so wonderful, such awesome modivators! Worth having the executive membership! Lunch hours are very busy, so plan to go 15 min early, but it's great to see so many people getting active!

My girlfriend was given 10 days to opt out of her membership and decided to cancel out after 6 days... we STILL had the payment of $100 come out of our account. We are still waiting for Lance to return the money after he gave his word that the money would be returned immediately... even if by etransfer. It looks kinda crooked to me

Super clean, great staff, great personal trainers. Love going! Can get a little crowded over lunch, especially in the men's washrooms, sometimes have to wait a few minutes for a shower (only 3). But perfect for what it is: convenient, easy access location for downtown workers.
