I would give 1 star but it has a couple of stores that are functional. The complete building is very dates and dark and requires a total update. It's almost as bad as Third Ave with the amount of closed down stores.

Rupert Square Shopping Center is also known as the Rupert Square Mall in Prince Rupert. The most prominent and popular store here is the Walmart of the small town. Other useful stores for the tourists are the Dollarama store and the Shopper's Drug Mart. It is located in Downtown Prince Rupert just off the Yellowstone Highway. One can get a good view of the harbor and the Rotary Waterfront Park. Parking is available in the compound.

One of the most depressing malls I've ever been to. The outside is just as bad as the inside. I appreciate the stores there, but definitely avoid going in the actual mall as much as I can.

It feels like it's dying. There are few places inside that have survived over time, so it's always really quiet and never crowded unless there is a big event. No food court, barely any shopping, just depressing. Staff is great, at least.

Has a lot of stuff here but there are however lots of vacancies. Some of the stores they have here are marks work warehouse, Wal-Mart, source, home hardware, RBC bank, a restaurant down stairs, a lotto shop, a smoke shop, a place you can get a piercing, a couple places to buy clothes and sports gear and even a gym. There is always ample parking but is usually pretty busy during the day and some nights. There are always people loitering around there and lots of drunk people stumbling around but I never had any problems. Very nice surrounding area in the heart of town, right by the water. You can enter the mall from 2 sides, one entry is in the same parking lot as the pavilion restaurant and the other side is right by the tim Hortons. Right off the main road in rupert, you can't miss it.

Dollar store, marks, per store,source, bank, piercing and alternative jewlery and 2 clothing shops. There is a great childrens motorized rental place in a small knook downstairs. You can ride a mechnical scooter with an animal skin. Very cool! Up to 300lbs so good for your inner child as well. ????

Mall needs some upgrades, but it has some pretty decent stores. The public washrooms are dated, and there are a few empty storefronts.The parking lot needs work as all the lines have faded and everyone parks willy nilly. It is okay for a small town. It has a Walmart for most of your shopping requirements. Update to this - they repainted the lines but on the Walmart side they made them so narrow you can barely fit your vehicle in there. My husband was trapped outside his vehicle because someone parked too close and it has happened more than once. Stalls are made for tiny cars not SUVs or anything larger.

This mall struggles to maintain retail tenants. However, that is a Rupert wide problem. There is still a decent numbers of stores that have been there many years.
