Nice hotel, but it really needs some tlc. Food is great. Service is great as well.

The room temperature was unbelievably hot; thermostat read 27C @ 4:30am - NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! Good luck getting any sleep. The only way to regulate the temperature is to open the sliding door - which presents another host of issues.

Would not stay here again. Overpriced, dirty and in need of repair. Stained bathtub, duvet, and carpets. The floor-to-ceiling glass was cleaned with a dirty cloth and completely streaked. Mouldings were missing and damaged and the bathroom door knob was falling off. We travel a lot throughout North America and stay in all types of accommodations, this one stands out as being the worst value. We paid $175, and it was worth about $75. No exaggerations here. Don't stay here. The the first clue will be the shabby conditions at check-in.

I can't speak for the hotel. However the restaurant... worst dining experience of my life. Poor selection, poorer quality, over cooked eggs on soggy English muffins with pre mix powder hollandaise, overly greasy bacon. It shouldn't have cost more than 10 bucks for that abomination of a buffet but they somehow get away with 25 bucks... let me give you some advice, go anywhere else... you would be much more satisfied eating 25 dollars worth of food at mc donalds

The place definitely needs some work, but it seems to be in the process of improving everything. Somethings are outdated (carpets, furniture) but the bed was comfortable and there was somewhere to plug my phone in to charge overnight beside my bed (something lacking in far too many hotels) as well as decent WiFi access. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The most memorable part was Heidi! She was absolutely so sweet, and made sure to check in with us to make sure we were doing alright with the room. Gave us excellent recommendations for sightseeing as well! Great views out the window all around, even though the room wasn’t the best. It was still worth staying here. Thank you Heidi! Hope you make another visit to Terrace soon

The desk lady was nice. The room however was very unclean, the room smelt like someone had recently smoked with dirty floors and shoemarks on the bedding. Across the street were squatter doing drugs and lack of safe parking.

As a physically handicapped person I found it very difficult to maneuver in/out of the hotel. there is NO handicapped parking (the desk clerk knew of none) and the access to sidewalks were few and in very poor condition. Breakfasts are good. The heat in the room was uncontrollable and very hot. We requested a room overlooking the harbour and ended up with a side room. In general we found our stay very physically awkward but loved our visit to Rupert.

Extremely dirty, dingy, run-down and really needs repairs and updates. There is a massive crack in the ceiling above the bed. Did not feel safe and would have stayed elsewhere had there been vacancy. One positive thing - we could see the ocean from our room, which is beautiful.

Ive stayed at this place many times. Most recently for a fishing trip which i do yearly. Did not mention the patio glass was broken to the front desk upon arrival. As c'mon its the highliner, you could collect the cans on the rooftop to pay for your stay. Several weeks go by and i find my deposit has not been released for both rooms. Called, and received a very dismissive reply from the manager (David), who simply replied deposit will not be released. Lost a yearly patron here.

The wife had to point out the blood stains and pillowcases unwashed bed skirts room is decent just not properly maintained have a nice massive sliding door for a view that hasn't been cleaned with old stickers on it so much dirt on the balcony hasn't been swept for ever rotting cigarette butts and ash from end to end

I do NOT recommend this place at all, rooms are filthy , most heaters do not work, the food in the restaurant is horrible. Not to mention Heidi and David the manager are HORRIBLE people to deal with. Rude racist people ! Any where but here is better

The whole place smells musty and damp. When we left for the day we came back to find the beds terribly made. The floors were not vacuumed. My kids make there beds better than that. The room was so hot we had to open the balcony door but no mosquito door to stop bugs coming into room.
