I've been working out here for just over the past year and I have nothing but good things to say about the place. There are tons of machines which are all new, clean and maintained well. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Plus they're tons of classes offered free with a membership. Only negative thing about the place is the mediocre older water fountains.

Always loved being able to just walk in anytime during school and spend time at this gym. The top track is a bit small and you run around it to fast but there are good basketball courts, weight rooms and much more. I personally loved going to the spin classes in the mornings! The instructors are great and really keep you motivated during the morning workouts. If your thinking of heading to UNBC its a great gym within a couple minute walk to the school and residence and its very cheap for a student (like a one time payment of $10).

I was a member here for 8 years. While I have a ton of good memories from playing soccer here, unfortunately it's all marred by at least a dozen incidents that I see as blatant racism. Yes some of these were by other members (e.g. team captain banning foreign languages), but at least half involved NSC and Timberwolves staff. Unfortunately reporting these to higher management lead to absolutely no change whatsoever. Overall, as an immigrant and a minority individual, I don't rate NSC as culturally safe. Sad that for a bunch of services, I can't really recommend an alternative in PG (because there is none).

Indoor track is great. Outer lane is 280m. Plenty of weights, bikes and treamills upstairs. Lower level weight room does get quite busy at peak hours and tight for space.

Pay parking and out of the way. Gyms are seperated making you walk back and forth. Little costly. Nice to have an indoor track, running on the outside though so a little weird.

One of the top options in the city for indoor workouts. The track is the main draw in my mind, but there's also a ton of cardio options, scheduled classes, as well as the usual weight rooms. The juice bar is a nice addition

Let's start from the begining, boxing bags were removed except upstairs immediately in front of other people working out so it was extremely uncomfortable to use & when brought back it was what 1 bag in the room? The equipment regularly didnt work properly. Children until recently were allowed to climb all over equipment and disrupt work outs. They never emailed me or called to state they were reopening DURING A PANDEMIC & then charged me causing me to be also charged 40 dollars overdraft since I hadn't known they were even opening again yet otherwise I'd of had the funds ready. They have all my info to charge my bank but cant give me a simple refund despite having direct deposit forms. So now I get to risk covid in their plague-den they created by opening during a PANDEMIC. I would NOT recommend the gym. Go literally anywhere else. No Im not going to wait weeks for a cheque to then have to take it to a bank. I've already have had to wait how long just to hear from you?!

I used the Sports Centre quite a bit as a student. Nice facility, large, great indoor fields. They offer a wide variety of classes too.

Really like this gym! Front staff are friendly and it’s super cheap for healthcare students which is a bonus. Has multiple areas so you can find a spot that isn’t too crowded. Has everything you need, but doesn’t have every weight training machine in the world. Track is great if you’re a runner. Would be nice if you didn’t have to pay for parking though.

This facility is great, but they need to keep the bathrooms on the field levels unlocked as we our athletes running up a flight of stairs to use the restrooms. A few our kids almost had accidents. Other than that, friendly staff as always! Our kids love it there!

The indoor track is worth the price of admission alone, as a runner who needs to stay fit during the snowy winter. Lots of facilities like the soccer fields, basketball courts, two weight rooms, squash courts and lots of organized fitness classes.

Been going here since August 2021 and it's an awesome place. Weight rooms could be bigger as they get pretty crowded during certain hours (usually not a concern unless it's peak hours) but there's plenty of room up top where the track is. Staff is nice as well as the people who workout here ????
