I normally do not like giving negative reviews but I would like other people to know about my experience. When I first signed up i gave the lady my account number and paid my enrollment fee and everything was fine. i came into the gym multiple times and was never once stopped by an employee. 6 months later i get emails from the credit bureau that my crunch account has been forwarded to them as i have no been making my payments. i was never once contacted by crunch to check and see if there was a problem with my account or anything. finally i go in to give them my account number AGAIN and it turns out that the lady typed it in wrong and that's why nothing was going through. they laughed it off and thought it was funny that all this happened. i let it go because it was a good price and i liked the equipment. Fast forward to now, during COVID. i was told no money would be taken out of my account, and i check today to see that they charged me $68. i called to see what the charge was for and they advised it was my annual membership fee. i explained that i was told no money would be taken right now and she said sorry. i asked if i could cancel my membership and have the annual fee refunded, as i shouldn't have to pay for a year that i am not using. she explained that "they need the money because they are struggling with covid and being closed right now" What kind of answer is that? this is absolutely uncalled for. we are all experiencing a pandemic and all struggling as everything was closed completely for MONTHS. we were all out of jobs. when I asked to speak to the manager to see of there was anything he could do she put me on hold and then answered and said he said the same thing as her. i did not ask that. i wanted to speak with the manager regarding her customer service and the customer service of crunch in general as i am very disappointed. she said he could not talk to customers. i have given up with trying to get my refund, but i;m hoping i can shed light to what crunch is doing and how they are treating their customers. i have multiple friends who have had problems with crunch and have had random amounts of money taken from their account on top of their membership. this is not right. overall i have had a terrible experience with crunch and i will not be returning to their gym, or ever refer my friends to them again.

I’ve just started training there. Price is unbeatable. Space is surprisingly nice. Equipment is excellent and, in covid time, it matters to say that it is super clean and spacious. I’ve never needed to train too close of someone else. At this point it’s definitely 5 stars to me.

It’s a really nice gym inside (other than some well-loved machines and an unorganized free weight section), but unfortunately most of (there are two that are super nice) the staff are unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. I cancelled my membership as I was no longer happy at that gym and moving closer to a different gym, the staff were beyond rude while canceling the membership. I was met with eye rolling, single worded answers, and sarcasm. It was really unprofessional and exhausting to deal with. Not only that, but a staff member would openly hit on my husband in front of me, making us both uncomfortable, and pretend like I wasn’t standing right there. When I would interject, she would roll her eyes and ignore me. I put off writing a review because I figured it wasn’t worth it, but that was until today when I saw a charge on my account from them. I called to make sure it was correct as I figured I had a single payment left to make before the end of my membership but I wanted to make sure. The staff member was short with me and hung up on me while I was thanking her for her help. I understand that days get busy and there are clients at the desk, but a little customer service and friendliness goes a long way. Do better crunch. Your clients deserve better.

Ive been to many gyms and worked in many gyms. This is a completely honest review. Most of the staff at the front desk are incompetent or rude. Lots of equipment sits unrepaired. The equipment is cheap and not very good. Multiple cables stick and do not move smoothly, thus increases the risk of injury while working out. Missing different types of attachments. The attachments they do have are the cheapest alloy I've ever seen in a commercial gym. The renovations were done poorly and have yet to be completed. It is the best option in Welland though, that's not saying much.

Can't beat the $10 a month membership. A plethora of equipment, including TRX's, sled pushing, punching bags, medicine balls, and 4 power lifting stations. Some of the machines are cheap quality but they get replaced regularly. Change rooms need more attention, but overall a great facility!

This place will only take your money DO NOT RECOMMEND. Called over a month ago and spoke to some guy on the phone to cancel my membership because I moved over an hour away and I still was charged an annual fee and a monthly fee. Called in spoke to a lady who was rather rude and told me I couldn’t get my money back because they have no documented proof that my membership was cancelled. They screwed up on their end and I now have to eat and over $80 charge to my credit card at Christmas time and I’m a student. I’ve never been so miserable furthermore, the lady on the phone who was very ignorant said there was a more pressing customer who needed her assistance so lesson learned if you aren’t buying a membership you don’t matter. Wish I could give a negative review.

Love the gym here! I wish they were better about cleaning the change room and showers! It would be nice if the broken equipment got fixed much more promptly than it does. Waiting a month to have a machine repaired is BS. Replacing pads on equipment that have worn through needs to be taken care of. Too many out of service tags!

Caution. Even though they were closed for three or four months due to Covid-19, they still charge you for the annual renewal fee after only eight months of gym use, I cancelled my membership effective immediately, in these tough times they should be working with their members not ripping them off. One month after my account was closed I noticed an payment had been taken out, the management at Crunch tried to blame Covid-19. The bank said that Crunch changed the name on the submission to try to get around the stop payment that I issued one month ago. Funny the manager claims that they are not thieves but I'd rather trust a loan shark. Be careful.

My husband and I have been going for a month and we love it. Lots of options although we are mostly focusing on cardio and the full body circuit Very clean and super friendly staff. We bring our 2 year old to the crunch kids and couldn’t be happier with them. Our son loves going and gets excited when we walk in the door.

Yes I guess this gym is okay for the price. That being said their price has increased but the facility looks as crusty as ever. I know there's a cleaner but I'm not sure they have the proper equipment to clean the gym as it always looks dirty as hell. The floors are covered in debris and hair, their mats have seen better days and their paper towels aren't even properly put in the dispensers. They do have good equipment and variety, but it should be upkept better especially with a price increase.

Unfortunately my 5 star review has been revised. Crunch claims to be an inclusive environment but when inclusion means means responding to an email because that person cannot make phone calls, inclusion no longer matters. They also stole money for me. When gyms reopened in July they charged me for 2 months. And I had to hound them to get an answer on why, they kept saying that they would let me know within 24 hours and weeks went by. So finally without any answers to why Jason said he would credit my next month to balance things out. I agreed. That sounded fair. However, the next month came and I was charged. I emailed and heard nothing, so I made a phone call which caused me so much anxiety I could not function the rest of the day.. I tried to verbalize to the employee that I just needed Jason to respond to the email. She just kept telling me that nobody really responds to emails there and that I'd have to talk to him. So after she put me on hold I just hung up because I couldn't handle it, I was having an anxiety attack. I then got an email within 30 minutes saying my membership is canceled, which I had not asked for it to be. (I did want a freeze). Was told there is no refunds and I'm not getting a response anymore.. I understand the rules about about not getting fees back when you cancel, but money that was taken that never should have been taken should be returned to me. That's just theft.

Joined Crunch back in September. Cancelled in October. I gave them 30 days written notice and sent it via registered mail. They acknowledged my cancellation and still said I owed $90 for my yearly fee, even though I cancelled my membership so fast. Only went to Crunch Fitness 3 days. Changed my bank card number and after 6 months they just started taking money out again. Last night an unauthorized amount of $170. Money that I needed to pay my bills has now been stolen out of my account. I don't recommend this gym at all what a bunch of scamming thieves. How can you justify yourselves doing this to someone in the middle of a pandemic? especially a person with health issues that can no longer use your gym. I want my money refunded or I will be taken this to court and the media. I also put in a fraud claim through my bank account. I am going to make sure I tell everyone not to go here. Don't trust them if you want to lose money.

This isn’t about the gym or the equipment (I’m happy with both). This is about the manager that works there. I’m not sure what his name is but he’s super friendly. He greets every individual as they walk in and as they leave and he will even walk around the gym and say hi to people. I signed up before the club opened and when it finally opened (3 months late) only the weights and machine services were available. All of the other features that I was paying for were not ready/ unavailable. I asked for a pro-rated refund for classes, water massage beds among other features that I was not getting and never recieved compensation despite promises that I would. When the classes finally started they were only available during work hours and therefore still unavailable to the majority of people. I decided to leave and when I did the features were still not up and running, such as the aqua massage and adequate times for classes. Very disappointed. They promised great services and delivered a mediocre gym experience with classes that anyone with a job would never be able to attend.

Judging by social media platforms and reviews, it doesn't appear that I am the only one in this situation. Still taking money after incomplete memberships and cancelled memberships. I understand the world is suffering from a pandemic resulting in financial crisis for some more than others but this gives you no right to rob us all of our money too!!! Signed up for membership today. Very affordable! Staff is friendly, but it is a little odd trying to find the front door. There is little to no signage on where to enter. There appears to be lots of equipment. It does not strike me as overly busy which is good if you like space, but bad if you fear this gym might eventually close sometime in the future.

Let’s start with the good news: 1. the gym looks clean 2. the employees are nice Now for the bad news: 1. I didn’t see a single person cleaning their equipment 2. the free weights are terribly disorganized 3. there are signs to stay 10’ apart but I found that impossible to do by the free weights and the universal machines (I visited the gym at 10am) 4. There was only ONE rope for triceps pull downs and it was badly damaged 5. No EZ curl bar 6. I don’t believe their weights are measured correctly. I’m able to curl 45lbs/arm at the free weights but I could only do 55lbs with BOTH arms curling on the universal (and I record all my training sessions so I can prove what I lift at my regular gym) 7. Using paper towels to clean equipment creates a A LOT of waste. Maybe this is why I didn’t see a single person cleaning up after themselves

Within 20 minutes I saw 4 people use machines and NOT spray them down afterwards. They are always out of paper towel down by the weights. As I sat on the bike the lady with the short brown hair walked up and took the paper towel roll from the station at the bikes and brought it to the weight area. Seriously?! Members still need to use it over here..

This gym equipment is very good and stands out compared to others in the area. Most staff members are great. My main concern is with an issue I had with my credit card being compromised online of which I had to cancel. One of my payments was rejected because of this so I quickly provided another card to the front desk staff immediately upon notification. The manager insisted I pay a $25.00 service fee. Her reason was because I did not have an alternative method of payment in my profile. I explained that people get their cards compromised often and that I should not have to pay the fee. She insisted and sent a staff member out on the floor to advise me that I had to pay the fee. What kind of customer service is that. The goal of any successful business is to get and keep more customers than their competitors. How do you think that made me feel? It makes no sense for a manager not to realize there was no intent to cheat Crunch out of a $9.95 payment. I am sure that you empower your managers to make these kinds of decisions. I will not pay this arbitrary fee because it says so in the fine print or defined in your managers guide. That is not customer service! I do have some comments and suggestions could improve the overall customer satisfaction levels. 1. The interior of the gym needs to be finished. TV's should be working and the massage beds should have been installed by now. There are not enough paper towel dispensers or spray disinfectant in the gym. 2. The WIFI is weak or doesn't work. This inhibits people from using their cell phones to access workout programs online. This is not good. 3. The men's change room smells bad, I mean bad. The room requires a ventilation system and air exchanger. Carpet runners should also be placed in the change rooms. 4. The toilet paper dispensers were mounted too low in the stalls. 5. The music that is played throughout the gym can be offensive to some people. Often times the music being played includes language that includes profanity and simply not conducive to the general public. 6. Cable machines are not smooth and when using two of them they are not the same. Overall the Crunch concept is great. I hope you can make some improvements.

Pretty nice gym. However they have yet to set up a voicemail or any kind of automated service. I do not understand why its 24 hours mon to fri but only 12 hours sat and sun. Also if you pay for a year of membership you cant upgrade your membership if you decide you want classes and tanning etc. Huge huge disappointment as I didnt have 300 for the premium membership and was forced to buy the basic membership only to be told after the fact I couldn't upgrade by paying the difference. Wth crunch? I guess you dont want more money from me?

I also was convinced that my auto renewal fee was not going to be happening until April as everyone’s membership was extended due to COvId. We have email record on October 29 2020 of trying to cancel before the auto renew...no reply. So I had to call. Spoke to Jason, I think that’s the managers name/owner who did tell me the truth about all these extra fees. I appreciate your honesty Jason but what I don’t is when I called this past weekend, was the girl on the phone telling me “Oh don’t worry, you won’t be charge for your auto renew until may” You,Jason, took $56 out of my account during a pandemic 2 weeks before Christmas after I was told by two female staff members via telephone that I would not be charged anything. Looking forward to meeting you in person to discuss this further to find a reasonable solution to this issue.

I became a founding member during early pre-sale but didn’t get the t-shirt or recognition as promised. I contacted the gym in regards to some questions I had through phone, email, and Facebook and they have yet to make an effort to contact me back. I had to contact the main company to get any answers. So far I’m unimpressed with the Welland gym level of customer support, can’t even be bothered to contact you back. I’m hoping after they open the gym they will be better in which case I may give them more stars and a better review, but I doubt it. This is why I didn’t sign a contract.

All in all a decent gym. I wish that they had everything that I'm paying for available but they don't which is a little frustrating. When you talk to the staff about when the stuff is coming they beat around the Bush about it and dont give you a straight answer. They deffinetly need more sanitation stations 4 is not enough for the amount of times they run out of paper. This gym has been open for 5 months now have taken everyone's payments as well as enrollment fees plus building fees, you would think its time to get the hydro massagers, we are paying for them.

I was charged an annual fee ontop of that yet they did not provide an annual service. They said their was a glitch in the system but they do not refund money. This fitness center is fine in regard to its facilities and membership cost. The equipment is mid-level and maintained well enough considering the price. The major shortcoming is its staff. You'll only be welcomed at the front desk if you have a specific body type and ethnicity. Furthermore, I've seen the tactless, halfwit manager argue with users more than once regarding how accounts are managed and payments are processed. He does not understand his role as a manager to take accountability and offer solutions on behalf of the franchise. Instead, he takes complaints personally, pouts, and deflects responsibility. The franchise owner should consider retraining staff and replacing management. This fitness center probably has strong recruitment because of its low prices, but its focus on user retention needs to be reconsidered.

I desperately wish I read the reviews before joining this scam of a gym. Upon requesting to cancel my membership, the staff member on the phone convinced me to put it on hold instead. She assured me multiple times I wouldn't be charged during this period. As you can guess, I got charged the annual fee (after 1 month of joining?) and another $35 because I wasn't within 30 days of putting it on a freeze. I called and e-mailed and was told nothing could be done but this will be the last time. At this point I asked to cancel because I didn't trust them! To my surprise, another $35 was taken out. This is after 2 staff members told me nothing will be taken out, I even had 2 confirmation e-mails of the last payment date. I wish I was done! Another $55 was taken out of my account this week. Please read the 100 other horrible reviews and please, please, please don't join this gym.

Do NOT sign up with this gym. You have been warned. 1. Their appointment booking system is archaic. There are 10 spots available every hour and you have about 2 seconds, literally, to sign up for any given spot before its completely booked. If you think I'm joking, think again. Not only that, you have to do this DAILY.....DAILY. You can't book ahead of time. 2. When you cancel your subscription, they will continue to charge your account until you are forced to call your credit card company to issue a chargeback. They are literal thieves. Do NOT sign up with this gym. You have been warned.

Staff is friendly and there is a lot of equipment which is nice but they need to do a better job of maintaining / fixing equipment. It’s not uncommon to see a machine down for 2 weeks at a time for “scheduled maintenance” and even the machines that are in working order are in need of some serious attention. The cables on the cable station in the centre are all different tensions, etc so it’s imposisble to get a consistent workout. I think it’s beciase the cables themselves are of low quality. Many of the machines in the 30 minute circuit section have uneven resistance between the right and left arm , again these machines seem of lower quality. The free weights section is great and having the bumper plates for the squat rack is excellent. There’s a tonne or cardio machines but they never appear to be more than 50% full which is frustrating as the weights section can get very busy at times. With a little more attention to maintenance and ensuring machines are in proper working order, I would give them a 5.

Signed up pre-sales and really disappointed. It was over 4 months late opening. Lots of hidden fees so far that they don't tell you about. Equipment is cheap, but lots of it, which is good because there's not much waiting. I assume that's going to change in the new year. I know the manager Curtis really well from when I used to work out at Anytime Fitness St Catherines and he told me not to pay in full because it's doubtful the gym will see 2020. They're already struggling. There are better options, but if your on a budget and have no other choice....

I wish I were able to give this gym 0 stars. The manager Jason is completely unprofessional and out of line. How the company has not fired him is beyond me... he is detrimental to the business. No one is wearing a mask and it is completely unsanitary and disorganized.

I'm liking this place... clean quiet... nice machines... However I find it odd that you cannot pay for a one year membership in one payment... they wouldn't accept payment... and only willing to do direct withdrawals from my bank account... plus the first day fee of $1.13 couldn't be paid any other way but on credit card... Think I should be allowed to pay for a year upfront and skip the banking information... Also they state $9.95 a month... but then add a yearly $60.00 fee on top of that...

Don’t recommend this gym. Registered for free enrolment and month for a dollar. Had never stepped foot in the gym and they removed 68 dollars from my account 2 days later. Website does not say anything about taking money from account. This not only happened to me but also a few other people. Good luck trying to get money back.

I would highly recommend not going to this gym!! I wasn't able to cancel my annual fee because they were closed for COVID-19 and they refused to give me a refund. So I cancelled my membership with them and checked my bank account today and they are still taking payments out of my account. Management is almost never available and when they are they are very rude and unprofessional.

Crunch fitness is everything you can expect out of a regular gym so far my experience is what I can expect it to be. Staff is great and very helpful. Members need to step it up a notch I'm going mostly at night and I'm noticing that alot of members are not putting away equipment after they are finished with it. Causing staff to work extra hard to clean up your mess. Crunch fitness is not your 2nd mother you have membership access not douchebag access.

Would not recommend Crunch Fitness Welland to anyone. Save yourself some money and headaches and go somewhere else! Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and unprofessional resolution. We have had $200 withdrawn from our account over the last three months after we have cancelled. Each time we call about this we are told it will now be cancelled and no other money should be taken from our account. Then when next month rolls around we get money withdrawn from our account AGAIN. We have also been told that they will not reimburse us for two of the three months they have taken money when they shouldn’t have. The last thing we should have to worry about during a pandemic (where things are difficult enough) is having Crunch continuously take money from our account. Save yourself trouble and money and go somewhere else!

Crunch Welland has surpassed my expectations. It truly is a Gym experience for all levels. Staff are friendly and helpful and the equipment is clean and easy to use. The new GYM doesn't come perfect. Still waiting on the hydromassage chairs that are offered at other Crunch locations. The men's change room is tight during peak hours and offers minimal area (1 urinal and 2 toilettes with only 4 showers) for discretion. As a Gym overall very positive .

If you are a novice to gyms like I am everyone on the staff is friendly and assist you without hesitation or getting down on you if you don’t know something. Their membership costs I find to be very competitive with other gyms maybe even better then other gyms. I highly recommend Crunch Fitness.

This gym is fine if you just want a basic gym with up-to-date equipment. Here are a few complaints/suggestions for this location; - rushed opening this location and they don't seem to be in a hurry to complete the finishing touches from the renovation - customer service doesn't seem to be their strong suit as I'm always left waiting by the front desk for an employee to acknowledge me - it would be great if all the tv's worked and they were set on a variety of different channels - floors either need to be swept or vacuumed (I know the flooring material is difficult to clean but mopping isn't picking up the dirt/salt) - maintenance on the machines seems very slow at this location - one more bench on the right hand side of the woman's change room would be great - water never gets more than warm for the women's change room sinks

I signed up for a year here January 2020. Tried to pay the full year in cash upfront so tbey didn't have access to my account. Its now almost April 1st 2021. They are still taking my money from my account. The year contract 12 months is up. 1 year contract is a 1 year contract period. I get covid happened which is an act of God and has affected the gym time. However we are all affected and some have lost jobs and such. They will not stop taking my money I haven't bin there in a year and tbey cannot facilitate my time at the gym even when they opened and limited people could go and was always full. I was unable to get to gym but still paying for it. I called to speak about it and the lady there this morning was just rude on the phone and when asked to speak to a manager she was even more rude. I would not give your money to this place period.

Signed up to this gym over a year ago and everyone is super nice, minus one of the guys. I asked him a question and he answered very rudely but when I see him talking with women he is laughing smiling so friendly and upbeat. I’m glad I wasn’t paired with him as my trainer. Lots of equipment Lots of extra classes Free massage tables Free tanning Big change rooms and awesome maintenance staff. Most equipment is always open, there is usually a few closed due to operation issues. Front counter staff always happy and smiling. Over all my favourite gym I’ve ever been a part of.

Wouldn't recommend getting anything more than the basic membership with the other options in Welland (for classes, amenities, etc.). The gym isn't very clean, and the trades did not do a good job installing the finishes, it looks/feels very cheap, especially in the change room. Staff seems friendly, and there is plenty of equipment. Overall a good gym if you're just looking to use the equipment. Having a month to month option is also nice.

My father in law is a senior, and put his membership on hold 14 months ago when the COVID-19 pandemic began. He recently started seeing monthly charges from Crunch Fitness, despite the gym being closed, his membership being on hold and having not gone there in over 1 year. He was told the charges are because he never gave notice, although he paused his membership >1 year ago. I think this gym is in a cash "crunch" and has resorted to dishonest tactics.

Walked in today to sign up whole family. Young lady was busy with a couple customers and seemed polite. Young dark haired guy at counter looked at me and did not acknowledge or greet me or ask what he could do. After 30 seconds he gets up walks to other side of desk area sits down a proceeds to text on his phone. I walked out and went back to YMCA where they charge more but have great customer service and i'm sure better customer retention. Called to talk to manager and she only made excuses that they were busy...no they weren't Not impressed in slightest

The staff at crunch are very friendly. They have a variety of machines as well as equiptment however the machines are often breaking down and scheduled for service and this can be very inconvenient. The gym is very clean and has a good atmosphre but can get crowded. This being said I enjoy my time at crunch and will continue to do so.

I have belonged to galaxy 2000 & topdawgs & for $15 a month you just CANNOT go wrong with crunch they are comparable with both of those gyms, in fact the equipment is very modern & up to date.....its clean & i think the change rooms are very well done! The only real complaint i have is there are not enough sanitizing stations near the machines, & as far as "crackhead" looking employees, are you kidding me? That just sounds like a personal attack on this person your refering to! Even if it doesnt last past 2020 i will enjoy it while i can! ????

Everything is great except 2 things. 1) They still don't have all the equipment they promised, and have had more than enough time to acquire it, I don't understand whats taking so long. 2) The machines break down way too often and don't get fixed fast enough. Besides that it's one of the best gyms I've joined. A lot of room, good atmosphere and mucho machines to choose from.

So far, I have been very underwhelmed with Crunch. My wife and I joined because they said they had hydro massage and paid the premium fees for it. We paid our first month way back in May (I think), as soon as I got the first flyer in the mail. They said it should be open in July. We went to the street BBQ and they said it would be open in about a week. Time kept going by and they kept saying a week, or two... lies. Finally, they opened in like November or something. No hydro massage. It’s coming next week, they said. Nope. It’s February and it’s still not there. They made sure to take my premium fees though. We downgraded to the cheap plan but was not compensated for the difference in the premium fees. Heck, they haven’t even been able to finish painting inside. They did, however, make sure to charge our annual fees on time. When I signed up, they said they took credit card. Then when I got there they said that I needed pre-authorized debit. Sigh. Good concept, but very poor organization and estimation of time to complete the project.

Gym has been closed due to Covid yet I was charged a fee... Reached out to the generic email contact as well as 'casandra' and still have not recieved a response. The auto reply recieved said a response time of 5-7 days, I have been waiting since May 12. When the gym does finally open I will be cancelling my membership. Horrible customer service. I would rather pay a higher membership fee at my previous gym as they actually help their members.

Facilities NOT FINISHED, contract of top membership=not enough class space, no rowers, unprofessional/ no proper documentation. I should have questioned more...... staff bashing woman trainers for making tooooo much at my "FREE" 1 hour consult (I should have walked out here - oh and no documentation of my complaint?????) Contract not explained properly, being overcharged 4 months in a row- finally canceled my CC. Went in this morning and again no resolution at all (=poor management). This is the second time in welland at 2 separate gyms. Time to make room in the basement and shop online for equipment.. and stick with my trainer Sarah... done and done!!!

I walked! Went here for the child care and nothing more to find out they are currently being investigated by the City of Welland for covering up asbestos pipes rather than removing or sealing them. My child was in there. Not happy!

More concerned with members wearing masks, than treating members with dignity. Pick and choose which members to enforce this rule on. If you feel like being targeted and embarrassed in front of multiple members, by all means join this gym. Even after complying with the request, I put the mask on while lifting very heavy. They don't care if you can breathe while working out. He (the manager) still stood over me, as I was sitting (intimidating body language) he threatened to revoke my membership. After that did not evoke a reaction he said I had to leave. The next day I cancelled. I go to the gym to relax and relieve stress. Not be stressed out. Word to the wise. As soon as you cancel call your bank and put a stop payment on Crunch. That way they cannot charge you for fees on a space you don't use. They tried calling to get an additional 24.80 even after the stop payment. That's alright, it's very easy to block phone numbers. Avoid this gym at all costs.

Careful with this place, they will con you out of money. They extended everyone's contract based on the amount of time they were closed, they re open and hit you with all of the fees they didnt charge while closed. They state on the corporate website you can cancel by email and will ignore your emails and when you finally contact someone they will say they don't accept email cancelations. They also don't abide by the terms setout in the membership agreement, and will tell you that you can't cancel your membership until they have taken all of their payments. Place is nothing but a bunch of crooks, I have all the evidence I need to prove this, ill be taking further action. BUT in the meantime I figure this review might save some of you from being robbed.

I would not recommend this gym. I once loved this gym, but I have since had multiple terrible experiences here with being over charged and not issued refunds. Paid a whole bunch for personal training sessions that they wouldn’t let me do as well. I would go somewhere else.

Great atmosphere! Has everything you need in a gym and the staff is very helpful and out going! :) kassandra and celina who work in kids crunch are outstanding employees. They really care about the work place and the kids they takes in. Definitely would recommend Crunch fitness to everyone.

I have not been to this facility so giving it a neutral 3 stars BUT just a tip for the management..... I have tried to come twice to this gym to sign up & both times was met by a group of employees smoking out front of the gym. Totally turned me off coming here & have since went elsewhere. Not a great look for a fitness brand.

Would not recommend this gym. They withdrew unauthorized payments from my account on 3 different occasions. When contacted staff members had a different excuse each time. Jason the manager is good at promising and not delivering refunds. Would recommend filing a complaint with the Ministry of Government and Consumers Affairs to anyone who has had the same experience. The only bright spot was Personal Trainer Brooks who, despite his employer, was extremely professional.

I tried to cancel my membership mid September, the cancellation was not put through, so I cancelled again in October after I was charged, then my membership cancellation was "pending" and today I got charged for November. Numerous phone calls and time and no one was ever apologetic or offered to refund my money which they should have. It might be contractual policy but you have the power to refund peoples money for your mistakes and you should. Once again: poor customer service and the manager does not care about making things right. If someone is cancelling their membership in September, they shouldn't have to pay the yearly fee for the following year and then 2 months extra in charges. I reported them to BBB.

This company likes to steal. During covid19 they took yearly dues when they were not available to cancel memberships. They refuse to return the money if you are unable to use there service and had made attempts to cancel the service. The government did not force them to cut off all communication with the clients. Now that they have been opened for a couple of weeks they still expect you to give 30 day notice for cancellation and want to keep money they wrongfully took from your account without permission and without even providing the most basic customer service while there gym was shut. Absolute unacceptable theft. Manger and staff are trained to not listen or take any responsibility.
