It's a bit trashy during the week, because that's where a lot of high schoolers go during lunch and vape. But during the summertime or on the weekend it's a great place to take kids to play at the park, or play tennis at the court there. There are also tons of colorful picnic tables around so lots of places to sit and eat.

(Translated) Beautiful discovery this small park landlocked two minutes from the main street. Toilets available and very clean. Well maintained with children's play area, swings, benches, public garden, small trails and tennis court. Lots of shade for the summer with the many mature trees in the park. Perfect for a stop when driving a lot. Street parking available. (Original) Belle découverte ce petit parc enclavé à deux minutes de la rue principale. Toilettes disponibles et très propre. Bien entretenu avec espace de jeu pour enfants, balançoires, bancs, jardin public, petits sentiers et terrain de tennis. Beaucoup d'ombre pour l'été avec les multiples arbres matures dans le parc. Parfait pour un arrêt quand on fait beaucoup de route. Stationnement sur rue disponible.

A nice little spot to escape a bit from the hustle and bustle of Picton Main Street. There is also a public washroom if someone is in need. A playground for the children too! What more do you need? ????

This is the center of town. There's always shade. A brand new tennis court. A brand new play structure, and 2 new washrooms. I was told the house was one of the first built on this municipality. Many community events are held here as well.

Lovely park. Area for small children to play. Porta potty on site and several garbage receptacles. I just wish everyone would use them. Just a wee bit of garbage on ground but not over all it's a clean area.

Recently renovated with a ramp, so it's accessible from Main St. and bright street lamps. Adventurous set of slides and climbing. Fun and nice for picnics in summer.

A small park just off the main street in Picton. Huge deciduous trees afford lots of shade on hot summer days. Many birds and squirrels. Picnic tables. Garbage cans.

It's a nice little oasis in the middle of Town behind the old Post Office. Has a playground for children, some benches & washrooms. It's a nicer way to get to Main Street from the free parking lot.

The County has really stepped up by installing the clean, well used washrooms. The park seems to be well kept, also. My kids always have a good time.

It was a beautiful, warm day so it was quite busy. Not a lot of places to sit (for older people who can't get down to sit on the grass), quite a bit of garbage lying around but a relatively nice play area for kids.

As a child Benson Park was the place to go in the summer. Lots of summer programs being run by the local Parks and Recreation Division of the Town of Picton. Those were the best days. The tennis courts were in perfect shape back then, so high action games were always going on. Bring back our park! It was once the nicest place to be in Picton, and had awesome summer programs for kids. Fix that tennis court and i will play there again, so will my son and his kids too!

PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS BEWARE!! Visited Benson Park this afternoon with our grand-daughter. Very disturbing....some inconsiderate individual(s) had poured sweet drinks on the slides which attracted swarming wasps creating a danger to unsuspecting innocent children!!!

I love the idea of taking my daughter here to have picnics and where she can play when we move here. It's quiet friendly doesn't have scary people hanging around. Love the picnic benches, perfect.
