This is my family! EVERYONE, not just the instructors, have made a huge impact on my life! The women's class is always full of giggles, the kids love the sport and anti-bullying program and the adults class is high level teaching with a bunch of killers! Definitely my home away from home!!

It will be one year in May since I’ve started at Eris, I absolutely love this gym and everyone there! It’s a great atmosphere for everybody, they have children’s classes, women’s only classes, fundamentals, free rolling and much more! Suitable for beginners (I started with 0 experience) and people with previous training. In one year Eris has taught me so much about self defence, and sport jiu jitsu. I have competed in competitions where the team support is outstanding! If you’re considering trying out jiu jitsu I would 100% recommend stopping by, there are many people there that can answer your questions and plus there’s a free trial to make sure it’s for you... you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain! ????

Being new to town and having to find a new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy to train at, I was skeptical of what I would find in Peterborough. My skepticism was immediately put to rest after my first class at Eris MMA / 10th planet. It has been a little over a year now and I could not be happier. Lead by Stew, Tim and Drew, these instructors have their own unique teaching style but their teaching pedagogy remains the same; they all want you to succeed in the sport while keeping it competitive, safe and fun. Their knowledge seems to be endless and what perplexes me is that is always growing. In addition, they have made enormous changes to my BJJ game, always providing me with new perspectives while keeping my goals in mind. Further more, all the instructors know when to push their students and when to dial it back. A balance that takes years of practice to perfect. Nevertheless, I enthusiastically recommend this academy. Without a doubt they will become your second family as they have become mine.

Coming back to BJJ after a LONG hiatus (so many excuses - children, sciatic pain) I was relieved that this gym's culture is one where I can safely start to train again. It's a unique place in that the average skill level seems to be really high, and yet so is the level of care and respect. So people go pretty hard but are careful not to hurt one another. A key balance to maintain in a place where everyone is ostensibly learning to render one another unconscious!

A first-rate martial arts experience. If you are interested in learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, their classes are great, especially for beginners like me. As a newbie to combat sport, I was nervous about leaving my comfort zone. In my first class, I encountered a helpful and competent instructor, and my concerns wilted away. After a month, my confidence has risen, my BJJ game has improved, and chatting with new people has become effortless. Jiu-Jitsu is a real-life superpower!!! Go get you some.
