Yellowknife Fieldhouse A very clean environment. At the front, there is an area for rock climbing, a small canteen and a place for children 5 and under to play. Presently the two ground areas are used for indoor soccer. There is seating between them for parents or spectators to watch and some round picnic style tables - bench combinations here as well. The second level can be accessed by stairway or elevator. The upper section contains a walking track which follows the inside perimeter of the building. There are a lot of windows for light or for viewing the frost coated trees outside. There are also two excercise bikes and a small area with some weights. Outside you will find a very large parking lot with spaces allocated for patrons or visitors with disabilities. Friendly staff, buzzed me in at the second floor to check out the track. Seniors (60+) are invited to use the walking track free of charge on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. through 11:45 a.m.

Beautiful facility BUT. they really missed the mark here. Why they built it separate from the multiplex I'll never know. But they could fix it with a ped way.

Nice facilities,. The running track is nice in the winter keeps you out of the cold and gets you active. Price of membership includes all the city facilities for a ok price. I think they missed the mark by not putting a gym in this building. Lots of waisted space on second floor. Even a small gym with 10-20 PC's of equipment would be nice. There is only a few stationary bikes on the running track and some weights. Staff seem friendly but don't seem to deal with any issues I brought up. The hand sanitizer haven't been filled/worked for me for the last 6 weeks kinda sad. Girl at the front desk had a hard time putting her phone down to acknowledge me about the last thing I brought up. But it's Yellowknife. This is what we got lol
