Lagree is truly life changing! It's such a great workout jam-packed into 40 minutes. The class sizes are small which allows your instructor to give you personalized help. I feel like the instructors really care about each person in their class and take the time and effort to correct posture and positioning, which I really appreciate! I have loved all instructors so far, and especially love Dylan! I was hesitant to try Lagree at first, but I'm SO glad I did. Now I'm hooked!

Lagree has been without a doubt the most transformational workout for my personal strength and physique. Having issues with my low back, it's been a challenge to find a practice that supports it, helps me recover and yet also pushes me hard. The trainers are incredible, guiding with their knowledge of the human body and with the class sizes being 12 or less, the attention you get is unmatched by any other studio in the city. I really enjoy the workouts! They're intense and effective. ... and 40 minutes is plenty of time (my muscles vibrate every time). Erin is my favourite instructor as she is very specific and knowledgeable about the body, and watches everyone to make sure the exercises are executed correctly.

Lagree West is amazing! I love how my muscles feels afterwards and that the class makes me feel strong. Every instructor I've had, has been kind, patient, and encouraging. I have been coming to Lagree for over a 6 weeks now and I love every minute of it. I fully expected an intimidating environment but found the exact opposite. The instructors are welcoming and encouraging. They provide modifications as needed while also encouraging you to push yourself the full 40 minutes. I have never been so sore in my life after a workout as I am after a Lagree class. The humor and humility of the instructors is motivating during class and after. I have often received an email from a number of instructors after my first few classes where they followed up offering encouragement and sharing their social media links to help you follow their journeys, while also leaving the dialogue for any questions open after the class. I have found every instructor more than willing to walk through form on exercises and share tips & tricks. Grab a friend and try it out! The studio is clean, the people are friendly and the environment inspiring.

Lagree West is honestly the greatest workout you will ever receive. I used to go to the gym 3 times a week, and never achieved the fitness level I wanted. One class at Lagree and I was fully hooked. I am loving Lagree! The exercises in these classes combine resistance training, cardio, and slow stretching for a full body workout that will increase your strength and flexibility, and give you that long, lean muscular look. I’ve completed five classes and in that short amount of time I can honestly say I already feel stronger and have noticed changes in my muscle tone. I’m more conscious of my posture throughout the day and I find I get more out of my running and hiking as a result of feeling stronger. The instructors are all excellent! They make it fun while they guide, encourage, and push you to success in every 40 minute class. Consistency is key but you can transform your body in a few short months.

Hands down the most challenging workout I have ever done - and I love it! The teachers are fun and helpful and I enjoy the upbeat, inspiring vibe. I like all the free parking near the Lonsdale studio! I recommend trying this workout if you want to discover muscles in your body you never knew existed ;-) and if you want to challenge yourself beyond what you thought possible. It's a really great workout. I used to pay for pilates privates but this is better. Every workout is different, there's no wasted time talking and the moves keep me focused. Every class is challenging and I feel muscles I didn't know I had. NOT for the faint of heart! But I have seen results FAST. I expect Lagree will always be a part of my fitness regime.

I started at the downtown Lagree, which I still enjoy, but I love the northshore Lagree because it has the same great teachers as the downtown studio but there is always lots of free parking nearby. It is easy to get to. Classes start right on time. Classes are not overcrowded and I feel that I get just the right amount of attention and motivation. Everything is really clean. Teachers and other clients are very friendly. There are healthy restaurants nearby for a smoothie before or afterwards.

As a standalone practice or in conjunction with your other cardio and strength training pursuits, Lagree delivers, and then some! While the aesthetic rewards are noticeable, it is the strength, mental grit, and community that has me coming back for more. I have practiced in LA, Bellevue, Toronto, and while they are all phenomenal, the staff and crew at Lagree West is the best.

I am loving the Lagree method. In a very efficient time limit of 40 minutes you get a targeted intense accurate workout. In 15 classes, attending twice per week, I have noticed a significant difference in my strength, particularly with my leg and core power in skiing. First time checking out the class and while it was definitely a physical challenge, it was awesome! Instructor was amazing, took time to introduce us to the class and process, asked ahead about injuries, and regularly ensured that form and positioning were correct to avoid injury. They offer peppermint oil at the end of the class as a relaxation technique which was super cool! Currently enjoying their two for $35 offer for first timers, but will probably keep classes to a minimum each month as the price point is a little high.

My biggest pet peave with work out classes is the dragging on, useless info, stretching in class time etc. Not Lagree. This is a bad ass work out that is the full class duration no water breaks. Never left a class without feeling sore the next day. Not for the faint of heart! Would recommend.

What's better than a super quick workout that is also challenging? I've only been to Lagree a few times, but experiences so far have been great. The workouts are 40 minutes, which is perfect in the morning before work. I've been here a few times and find the work out good, but always thought the music was really loud. I had been intending to go back at some point and even have classes I paid for on my account still. Today I was in the store above the gym and wow. You could here everything beat of the music like it was a house party. I asked the clerk if it was normal and she said (in a sad beaten way that hurt my heart) that unfortunately it was and Lagree refuses to turn down the music and mic for the instructors. Due to the lack of care for any of their neighbours, I will never go back to Lagree West. I also think the landlord allowing Lagree to operate in such a boarish way is guilty of neglecting the concern's of the store that has been there before Lagree West. I hope at some point this is rectified, but in all honesty I doubt it will be. Don't go here. There are tons of places to workout in North Van and supporting this company is directly condoning rude and disrespectful behaviour.

Not easy but that’s a good thing. Have done three classes now, still can’t do any of the moves correctly but that’s what makes it so good. If you like high intensity but low impact and also short classes (40mins) then this is for you. I’ve never been good at working out my core and today I walked out with my core shaking. Classes are smaller capacity which is nice as the instructors are very attentive to encourage/motivate and correct form, posture and pace. It is gentle enough for my knees and it's really helping my back (always have back issues from carrying a heavy purse). Try one and you will be sore for 2 days no matter what, you will see results fast! *** update**** It has now been 15 classes and my body has already changed so much. Not only do I see that I actually do have a booty, but I am much stronger and my other workouts are becoming easier because of this cross training. Obsessed!

I am in North Van 3-4 times a year to visit family, and have recently started taking classes at Lagree West Lonsdale since I take similar exercise classes where I live in the U.S. I have thoroughly loved every class with each teacher. Classes are well balanced with legs, core and arms, with a good combination of hands on corrections, verbal cues over the microphone and upbeat but chill music that somehow keeps you motivated without speeding you up beyond the slow four count that brings the burn in every move. I have taken five classes so far, and each one has been different without much repetition of moves (which I really like, since it keeps my mind and my body guessing). Not all teachers will do the peppermint gel neck rub at the end of class, but it’s such a nice treat after 40 quick but challenging minutes of work - so it’s very much appreciated! Only tough part is parking, but there are enough nearby options on streets that it’s not a big deal, and totally worth it for the great workout you get. Thanks, Lagree West!

Must try out! Great workout and low impact. Being active for past 7+ years with various activities, I thought I’ve seen it all but here I used muscles that I didn’t know I’ve had. Classes are short and sweaty - shakes you to the core (literally) but I always left feeling refreshed for some reason. Natalie was really great from the beginning. She leads the classes so smoothly and engaging that I always feel like I’m on one-on-one with her. I was hooked on the first class and was already feeling stronger after 2-3 sessions. The team is super helpful and very personalized. I commented lightly on how I was shaking doing some moves one day and later I received an email that explains why the shaking was happening. Honestly, I was shocked that someone would even remember and follow up. Overall, my experiences were so far has been above and beyond my expectations and already referred over 6 friends and co-workers to join. Hope this never change.

I started going to MegaFoundation with Kirsten MacTaggart at the Lonsdale location a few months ago and was instantly addicted. My RMT recommended that I try reformer pilates to manage chronic sciatica (I previously did yoga and hiking). There is nothing like the mental and physical strength I’ve gained since starting lagree. I can manage sciatica through yoga, but I have all but eliminated sciatica since lagree. And have I mentioned the adrenaline rush? One class a week instantly resets your mind and body. It’s the lazy girl’s dream!

Lagree West is just amazing. Got started with classpass and now I am totally hooked! Mind you, the first couple of classes are harder until you get used to the machine but after you get into a routine its hard to go a week without attending at least one class. Instructors are upbeat, motivational and super helpful in guiding each individual along the workout. It's only 40 minutes which may seem short for some but its a very concentrated workout that targets various body parts. I've told all my friends about it and got them hooked as well. The one downside is the price for $35/drop in, hence the 4 stars. But other than that, Yay for Lagree! I've found my favourite go to workout!

I've done about 9 Lagree classes now and all I can say is that I'm obsessed. It's such a challenging but enjoyable workout. It's low impact with slow movements that target different muscle groups simultaneously which sounds easy but the burn is intense. I'm usually sore for a few days after. The megaformer may seem intimidating since it's a bit tricky to get the hang of it in the beginning but the instructors are helpful and friendly, esp Lindsay!

I’ve been to a few classes now and each instructor has been welcoming, focused and a lot of fun. The classes are small enough that the instructors are able to give individual attention to each attendee and the machine is incredible for isolating muscles and muscle groups that aren’t typically targeted during my other work outs. Each class is a challenge and leaves me sore (a good sore) for days. The facility is clean and well maintained and the music is always on point. I would highly recommend Lagree to anyone looking to tone and sculpt or looking to take their workouts to the next level.
