Renovations look great. Visited Rec Room for the first time. Really great staff. Threw 7 axes! New experience. The Garage restaurant menu looked good but didn't eat there . Had a tasty maple chai latte at David's Tea that was delicious. Lots of new stores. The mall looks really good. Worth a visit.

It is fairly quiet at the mall these days. Whenever I go there I wish they had a grocery store. Then I wouldn't have to go another mile to get fresh produce and other stuff that you can't get at Dollarama which is up behind the Avalon mall and the only food store in the immediate area. The Source is at the mall.When I visited there the staff were quite helpful.

When living in St. John's it is an outstanding mall. If i compare it with malls in other countries it has definitely less brands and a small food court. But it is quite spacious and has alot of fun places like games and an IMAX cinema too. Lot of parking spaces around the Mall. Mostly it is crowded.

Good place to go shopping and to hangout with a fair amount of amenities. Security seems significantly undertrained and under equipped. I have been told they have a strict no weapons policy which I am very against and it is also not posted. I have seen many instances of security standing by and not acting in dangerous situations. Overall great place to go shopping and hang out for a while but don’t expect it to be safe whether your planning to visit or lease.

Brought my two girls for a movie nightbut tickets were sold out so we went shopping! It was a very busy friday night, food area was packed and line ups outside some stores were observed! I guess because it is back to school soon. Either way it waa fun. They have good stores inside.

I've been told this mall has been renovated and expanded. There is still some construction going on but doesnt really interfere with the ability to shop. I recommend you checkout their website to get the mall map as the interactive displays inside have been shutdown due to COVID. Its got a good selection of stores and the food court was nice. Finding the washrooms was a bit of a challenge, hence the need of a map. Parking was decent and it wasnt to busy when I was there. The inside halls are very spacious and easily allows 2m separation. Give it a look!

I was in the Avalon mall today and a lot of people are still wearing their masks but the place is really nice very modernized very up-to-date definitely the most modern-looking mall in Newfoundland buy fur. Most malls are very drab places that are slowly disappearing but the Avalon mall is really hopping the game and they're very popular in the city and there's a lot of people going there a lot of people shopping there and I was visiting in the afternoon on a weekday so I'm assuming on the weekends it's a lot busier. Way to go Avalon mall you're really doing a great job.

The mall itself is always clean, and there a good variety of restaurants and stores to choose from. It's nice to see that they keep working on it to make it modern. The parking structure across the road is a great upgrade.

Could not find the Card Shop I was looking for. One can no longer sit @ the Chocolate Co. Lots of new look! Very interesting! I like how you have made some of the sitting area @ the Food Court into booths. Nifty ! Very glad that the Metro Busses can be seen from the Food Court . Great feature!

I've been shopping at this mall my whole life, I've seen it through many different stages and upgrades. The current updates were long overdue but it's like a whole new place now in a great way! Some say that malls are a dying industry, and while that is very true in a lot of places, I don't think that's the case here. ????

It is the only shopping mall in st. John's. It has all the brand clothing shops and shoe shops. On the 1st floor you will find the food courts including indian food court and the renowned ones. It is a great place to roam around as well.

This is my all-time favorite shopping mall in Newfoundland and Labrador. I love all the stores there especially That Pro Look, Sport Chek, American Eagle, EB Games, Sunrise Records, Cole’s Bookstore, The Apple Store, Bell, UDegzins and Calendar Club. Dairy Queen is the best restaurant in the food court, I absolutely love their Blizzards. RW&Co and Tip Top Tailors are excellent dress clothes stores if you want to buy clothes for an office job.

First time home in two years and been about three years since my last visit to the Avalon Mall which I worked at many years ago ..Back when The Strand was there ...Well I got to say when I visited the Avalon Mall 3 weeks ago I was so amazed what a difference it is Amazing alot of great Retail Stores it has grown so much over the years ...A place I would recommend for everyone .Beautiful Mall in my home St.John's,NL ????❤️

Believe it or not, the Avalon Mall is undergoing a major revitalization project. New anchor stores, a bit of a new vibe. You can find most of what you need here.

No parking arrangements for couriers. Very costly stop, recommend avoiding any pick-up at Avalon Mall. Management needs to designate parking for couriers close to entrance. Furthermore, security has disallowed accessing the loading dock by the food court. Couriers lose money by having to waste valuable time. Very short sighted!

Im only giving a 2 because my food was frozen when I got home to eat it. And home Is also only a 2 min drive. So that was disappointing but if it was warm or even better hot it sure it would have been good.

Excellent mall. Large upper and lower levels. Lots of modern shopping to choose from and a large selection food court. Fog City restaurant & bar , as well as updated Theaters, and "The Rec Room". (an adult/ child arcade/ bowling entertainment center offering axe throwing as well).

Never realized how different it is now in the new and improved mall.. most places were awesome,except for 2.. Between staff following you around and watching every move you make,making u out to be a criminal or having to wait an hour to get to the check out it's crazy..

Plenty of amenities. Large Food Court. Disabled Parking. There is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Rec Room for yourself and the Kids to relax and enjoy some games or to have a relaxing meal.
