We held our son's sixth birthday party at Hawkes Martial Arts earlier this month. With 14 kids in attendance, Sensei Cody kept the kids completely engaged and attentive as they proceeded through a range of activities and games. The kids had such a great time that we have signed up both our children for summer camp at Hawkes next month.

Sensei Cody is great. He went above and beyond to ensure his students were still learning during the COVID lockdown by having group lessons online for no charge as well as being available for 1:1 online lessons for a reasonable fee. Now that in person lessons are back on, I feel they are being run safely with appropriate physical distancing and sanitization between classes. Overall it's clear from his actions that Cody cares about his students and the community in general.

Our family had been going to Hawkes since my son was four years old. This dojo has become an important part of our fitness and well being and now two family members attend. Our son is still going, seven years later, and now I’m attending women’s only classes as well. The dojo is clean, welcoming, and inclusive. The monthly fees are very reasonable and quite comparable to others in the community. Sensei Cody has a wonderful way with children, especially those who are shy or need a bit of coaxing and this style also extends to the adult classes too. I have also sent my son to the summer and spring break camps, which he enjoyed immensely, and have also enjoyed some of the specialized workshops and weapons classes as well. We can’t recommend Hawkes enough!

This is a great dojo! My son has been with them for a few months and he loves it there! It is a very welcoming place the sensei is patient and helpful. My son looks forward to the fun activities they do every class. I strongly recommend.

It is has been 5 years since my son started attending the classes and I could not be happier with the results. Sansei not only teaches the moves, but also life skills, respect, safety and more. This Dojo is one of a kind, the goal is for everyone to get their black belt. Sansei truly cares about all students and their goals.

Great instructor!! But feels like they close Friday close to every long weekend. Well it becomes pricey per lesson when you get 3 sessions per months instead of 4
