Very good centre, so many programs and activities for all ages. Affordable prices. Check the city of New Westminster website for programs registration. I strongly recommend that community centre.

We had a baby shower in the creek room and it was perfect. The staff on duty was very helpful and very lenient as we had run a bit over time due to cleaning up. But would definitely rent this place out again for another event.

Super awesome spin studio with changing light colours overhead, great speakers and very well ventilated. The fitness gym is spacious, a bit cool for yoga but doable. I hear there may be renos soon with this building and canada games pool combining.

Needs some serious interior & exterior updating & upgrades but the New West recreation programs based here are great! Particularly happy with Club Royale Jr day camps, very fun & well run! Great leaders!

I gotta say, Centennial has the most energy for a majority over-50 fitness spot. It's humiliating to take a break when a grandmother of three is still going with heavier weights than you. Truly inspiring. Brings out the best in me.

I usually visit both Edmond Community Centre and Centennial Community Centre. I needn't compare the two centres because they both are very good place for myself to exercise and for my kids to play. As for CCC, I like this quiet and cozy atmosphere. I strongly recommend the fitness centre and swimming pool in Canada Games Pool. You can use all these facilities with just one admission ticket.

Wonderful fitness instructors for wide range of classes. Tai chi, power yoga and Friday morning spinning classes for must to try. Many options for kids classes and again all the wonderful instructors.

Nice community center, many activities throughout the year. The best crew of the continent. I have had many rec and pool centers with my kids. This place hit all the places away. Employees rate and anyone who recruits them has choice to make decisions.

If you're looking for a simple, spacious (for social distancing) affordable venue, this is worth considering. It's a community center (so really pretty simple) , location is great if you're from Burnaby/New Westminster area.

I did a drop in for a watercolor class. It was wonderful. This is not my painting. The instructor was patient and very helpful. I had no idea that you could use salt on a watercolor and create such a neat effect. Highly recommend if you are interested in watercolors.

For who wants to play pickleball there: the level is 2.5-3.0 There are three courts with decent glazed hardwood flooring. The very short distance between courts’ lines and walls makes it difficult to have competitive games. Wooden boxes and stairs too close to lines creates hazards, so you have to be very careful. Go there if you’re looking just for a recreational way to spend your afternoon. Very social and friendly group of players.
