We are in isolation here and they are doing their best to make sure that we are as comfortable as possible. Food service is good as well.

Location was just as advertised, can't get any closer to the water unless you are in a boat.

Attended a work event during the Christmas season. Food was buffet style and everything was superbly prepared. I would highly recommend this venue. The only downside was lack of parking.

Solid hotel in the heart of the city. Great restaurant and bar on site, open late. Connected to the inside connection hence, you can get all the way to the Saint John City Market without ever having to go outside. Property is seemingly well managed as it has been well maintained and operated for several years.

All of the employees were very best and were ready to help as soon as asked. The view was amazing! I would suggest updates to the room as the bathroom door handle was near ready to fall off and there was a hole inside the closet.

Room was clean and well equipped. The wait staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The restaurant patio was nicely sheltered from the wind by glass walls, but still leaving a great view of the harbour.

Rooms are in need of a remodel quite badly. Bathrooms especially. Hot water takes a long time to get up to temperature. Faceplate on shower faucet was falling off. Rust on the access panels in the ceiling. We stayed in a 2 Queen Bed room on the 5th floor. Bathroom is also very tiny, door almost hits the toilet when opening and completely blocks shower access so you have to shower with the door closed and make it super foggy. No room amenities. No mini fridge or microwave. No free internet. Beds are quite dated, not your usual nice pillow top. The one bed closest to the window was very sagged on the left side due to high use. We paid $194 for the night (it was a long weekend) and got an incredibly basic room. They have 2 snack vending machines for the entire hotel. One is cash/card, the other is only coin. They only have 1 beverage vending machine and it was completely sold out. When I asked the front desk what other options I had, I was given 2 free room temp bottles of water or advised there was a gas station 12 minutes by foot away. We used the pool which is on the small side but was fine. However the pool deck and womans washroom was filthy. Lots of hair on the ground and puddles of water that had no where to drain to. I dont like leaving bad reviews but we have recently stayed in 2 Holidays Inn Express' within the past 2 weeks, one in Ontario and one in Quebec and both were far superior in decor, bed & pillow comfort, amenities, and cleanliness. We chose the Hilton over the Holiday Inn Express due to the location and thinking we would be "treating ourselves" to an even nicer experience for the long weekend. We regret that as it wasn't anywhere as nice as the Holiday Inn which is unfortunate for the Hilton brand. Giving 2 stars as the location really is ideal & the restaurant staff and front desk agent who helped us really were very great. I'd like to especially give thanks to the server working at the restaurant on Monday morning (Aug 2nd) who had an almost full restaurant and was working completely on her own. There was a gentleman in a suit who popped out of the back sporadically but was not assisting with orders or serving. She was running around like a super woman, clearly quite stressed, but still very nice. Kudos to her! For a total of $305 charged to my cc for one night, we feel like we stayed at an old Best Western with a nice lobby and good view. Not worth that amount at all. We wouldn't stay here again.

We had a great stay. The room is big, clean and comfy. The staff is friendly.

Not a bad experience. The restaurant was closed but there are several others close by. We had breakfast included but the caterer totally screwed up our order. Not sure how they did that as there were only 2 choices for breakfast.

Very dissatisfied with our stay. Room service was not available and staff were very unpleasant. The hotel was very outdated. Was told parking was included in our stay for free, however was forced to pay for parking. Found out after parking …

Surprisingly enough, this was not a good visit to what is normally an excellent Hotel chain. I chose to help me pay an extra couple dollars to have a nice room to stay in. When I got there the toilet tank was running constantly the shower tub drain filled up and I was ankle high in water when showering, the ac htg fan coil motor bearing sounded like it was ready to go and made a lot of noise, the door to the room stuck and have to pull/push hard to close it all the way, the room.had a funk smell to it when I arrived, and two of the electrical room plug did not work no matter what I plugged into it so I was limited to recharge my electronic tools. They came and fixed the toilet right away but this room and building needs a little bit of an updated work. That all said, the view of the harbour was excellent and the staff was friendly and great to work with!!

Great staff, so so rooms. This hotel is in need of major renovations. Elevators have buttons that only work on one side, during our weekend there one of the only two elevators was out of order. Our floor was supposed to have vending machines but inside the vending room there was a sign saying vending and ice were available on the floor above or below. We went to the floor below and the ice machine didn't work. Our room had an office chair that was so worn and torn that it was embarrassing that I would expect something like this from a Mitel 6, or a forgotten Ho-Jo from the 1970's. The comforter on our bed had stains on it. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Check in was smooth and you can save a few $$ if you have the hotel add your parking garage fee to your room. The view from our room was great (overlooking the harbour). You can also use the elaborate pedway system to get around parts of the city. (note, most of the retail stores are out of business inside the pedway ). I have high expectations for the Hilton brand and this one fell short of expectations by a lot! I wrote the hotel manager, and she replied quickly with an apology only saying they would have housekeeping check the furniture in our room. No mention of fixing elevator, elevator buttons, or vending ma hone issues. Next time I'm in town, I'll likely stay elsewhere (Delta, is 2 blocks away for similar prices).

Uncaring management got screwed $19 each for two for continental breakfast restaurant claims front desk needed to provide tickets which were refused. Tub shower had slow drain, like showering in a swamp. Harbor view window foggy from seal failure. $20 parking plus higher taxes made for expensive disappointing stay.

Awesome location to stay while visiting without a vehicle. Lots to explore within a reasonable walking distance. The harbour view is quite nice as well.

Clean spacious room with great service. Restaurant has great breakfast buffet. Wifi is not included in the room rate but it is free if you are a Hilton Honors member. Had to sign in to the internet everyday was annoying for business traveller.

Beautiful location, wonderful room, really comfortable beds. The air conditioner was a little noisy. The bar was lovely. The salmon burger was delicious.

Victoria Forbes

Food and service were great. Dinner was ruined by some couple throwing a hissy fit because their dinner wasn't cooked to their specifications. Waitress was super accommodating to them and remained professional, trying to help them. They just refused to hear anything and spent the entire time yelling and cursing about their food.
