So far the stay was very good, we rented 2 rooms and they made sure was side by side... Being attached to Saint John Market Square kinda makes it convenient and not at the same time... You get to travel through the city without going outside, but constraint to the mall hours. They shut off all elevators and lock all the doors... So if you go out, bring a coat or you'll get locked out... Overall still a great service. 4/5 stars

This was a good hotel in a great location. We only stayed one night but we're able to walk to a nice dinner and a shopping. Pool was nice but chilly. Beds were comfy but room could use some updating.

Stayed at this hotel when our flight was delayed due to a snowstorm. They have a nice pool and a huge hot tub. Water was showing signs of mush use since it was march break (a bit cloudy). The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have is that a few hockey teams were staying on the same floor and they were partying in the halls. At 10:00pm the kids were playing hockey in the halls (with nets and all). I had to call twice before anything was done. I later found out that a person from another room had complained twice during the same time frame. So, it took 4 complaints before anything was done.

Delta St. John Hotel by Marriott is an excellent accommodation located in New Brunswick Canada. It has been newly renovated in a modern upscale style. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and a sitting area. WiFi is available. A nice restaurant is located in the Lobby. It serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Very good food.

I have been staying at this property for a number of years on a weekly bases. It's the friendliness of the staff that keep me coming back. You can't beat the location which gives easy access to shopping and plenty of Restaurant's. And the Mix Bar on site has the best Nacho's in the city.

In the first room I got, the sink was leaking, the heater can't work, only cold wind come. The hotel changed me to another room which the heater has a huge noise and you can't sleep. I can't believe that is a 4-star hotel.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and I enjoyed that you need a card to be able to use the elevator to access the floors with the rooms. Hotel itself is fine, the staff is friendly, the location is fantastic, the reason for "meh" review is out of their control but worth mentioning as it will impact your stay: If you have an interior room you will have a view of the seagull colony that has set up camp there. Regarding the hotel, a correct room, try to ask for a room on the street side or facing the port and not facing the other rooms (inner courtyard). If you want a hotel with no pressure in the shower and no hot water to shower with I don't recommend. Let alone the clogged toilet and the minifridge that kept my drinks warmer then room temperature. I would not recommend this hotel. You can find something better.

This hotel is undergoing a major renovation and we stayed in one of the newly finished rooms. On the plus side the room was bright and fresh and the beds were comfortable. On the downside the renovation did not improve the noise buffering. You could hear those in the room next door and in the hall all.night.long.

Service was top notch. Bathroom felt dated but the room was otherwise maintained with new furniture with lots of places to plug in devices. Parking is not included so once you factor in the extra $20, it ends up more expensive than it should be.

Came all the way from calgary, to visit the east coast. We stayed at the delta for two weeks. Saint john is a beautiful city. The hotel was wonderful. Loved that they had a laundry room. The restaurant was good although we only had breakfast there, but by the end of the first week they knew what we wanted. It was nice that breakfast was until 11:00 am, so we didn't have to get up too early on our vacation. The cleaning staff were friendly as we always got a good morning or have a nice day. We had a view of the Harbour which was wonderful. It was noisy but not the hotels problem, just other guests slamming doors. Only had room service once, the cheesecake was delicious. If we were to go back to Saint john we would definitely stay at the delta, it is so convenient to walk around uptown and catch a bus.

Lots of conflicting feelings about this one. Front desk staff - excellent, especially Josh. Restaurant food & staff - excellent. Killer location close to everything. The parking situation is a bit janky right now - not their fault with construction on the street - but I feel like valet should be straight up free while it’s going on. Josh was kind enough to offer us a discount but I personally think it should be free. We also didn’t get the room we booked online. We also looked out onto a rooftop with lots of very loud seagulls. Overall still pretty happy and would likely stay again but had to point out some inconsistencies.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights after our wedding until we went on our honeymoon. The room could use a bit of a facelift but staff were incredible and friendly, service was amazing and room service was great! The staff certainly made the experience. Having our annual conference at Delta Hotels Saint John was overall satisfactory. The food was served punctually and tasted really good. The room had perfect temperature, it was neither too cold or too warm. The staff was friendly and reliable. We were satisfied and we will come again.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. Jenna at the front desk checked us in and was super helpful. We enjoyed the fact that it's connected to the square and highly recommend a room with a view of the harbor. There's also a very cute cafe just outside the lobby called Pistachio Cafe that's delicious! I will definitely be booking with the Delta again next time I'm in town :)

We just want to start this review by saying this hotel was HORRIBLE. The manager, Tiffani, for the day when we checked out was completely and utterly unhelpful and unprofessional. Instead of helping us by professionally explaining to us the situation, she chose to hide in her office and not answer our questions. Instead, she asked another person to deal with us. We asked for a print out of the policy that she was accusing us of and she said that we should just read it on their website. Who says that to a customer?! She then threatened to call security when we, as customers, wanted to understand why we were getting charged a high amount of money for something we didn’t do. A few minutes later another attendant printed out the policy with no fuss although they still couldn’t justify the amount as it is not written on their policy. As a manager, Tiffani didn’t handle our situation professionally. She was avoiding our questions and was condescending when talking to us. She saw that we were getting upset yet she chose to get us more upset by not answering our questions and completely avoiding us. She couldn’t even find the amount that she’s charging us in their policy. No receipt was provided to us until we asked for it. This hotel is such a ripoff. We stayed at an inn prior to staying at the hotel and that small inn was more accommodating, professional, and had more benefits. Not to mention the parking in this hotel!!! Valet for 25$?! If we don’t choose valet, they charge 15$ for a parking lot that is out of the way. This hotel will charge you in any way possible! It is unbelievable. We came to Saint John hoping to have a great time but our experience at this hotel ruined it. To whoever is the senior management in charge of this hotel, TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON HOW TO BE PROFESSIONAL!!! They carry the name of the hotel yet their service to their customers are nothing but a spit on our faces. Such a disgrace that you call your hotel a 4 star hotel! At most this place is a 2. There are much better inns that are rated a 2 star but really they are 5 star inns. Shame on you and shame on your management team for hiring an incompetent person such as Tiffani. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Your pockets will be emptied by the end of your stay here! We do not want or accept any of your apologies.
