De plus, je lui ai également mentionné que j'habitais à deux minutes du gym. Il m'a indiqué qu'il ne savait pas la date du déménagement, mais que j'avais le temps de m'inscrire pour une période de six mois. Il m'a accordé un rabais de 30 %, en me laissant croire que j'allais pouvoir utiliser le gym six mois à la bâtisse située sur la rue Hochelaga. Je suis extrêmement déçu, parce que le nouveau gym sera maintenant à 40 minutes de l'ancienne bâtisse en transport en commun. L'employé ne m'a jamais dit que je devais terminer mon abonnement dans le nouveau gym. J'ai donc seulement pu m'entrainer pendant trois mois et demi. Durant cette période, il n'y a jamais d'affiches ou de messages pour indiquer que le gym déménageait bientôt. J'y suis d'ailleurs allé la semaine dernière, et il n'y avait aucune mention d'un déménagement. Personne ne m'en a informé pendant le temps que j'y étais non plus. La page Facebook du Progym a seulement mentionné le 26 octobre que le gym serait fermé le 31 octobre, ce qui est très serré. Mais ce n'est pas suffisant d'annoncer la fermeture d'un établissement uniquement sur une page Facebook, sans le mentionner sur place. Je dis cela, car je ne serai clairement pas le seul à avoir eu une porte fermée en plein visage aujourd'hui et dans les prochains jours. Merci d'avoir lu ma montée de lait. Mon vrai avis du gym est que ce n'est pas trop pire si ça ne vous dérange pas un gym crasse/mal ordonné et si ça ne vous dérange pas de vous faire fourrer.

There's also a pass of 25 times for 175$ it doesn't has an expired date and it's good for 3 months when training twice a week or going whenever you feel like it. It has significantly reduce the variety of the group classes and the schedule too (changes each 4 months) it use to be some zumba twice a week, more yoga, pilates, mix circuits... There's also a ring for boxe NOT included in your subscription costing at least 30-45$/class private lessons. Healthy bar, salon, sauna, supplement shop, CrossFit/bootcamp equipment available, personal trainer. Possible to rent equipment too with a 25$ deposit which gives you a golden card. Lots of machines of different kind, place looks clean and there's lot of light even when it's cloudy. I never saw anyone waiting for a machine and it's one of the few gyms that opens 24h (except wked). Showers would need a redo and calibrate the water since it's either rly hot or very cold nothing warm. Finally, the gym is kids friendly. Before there's was a paying daycare but I think it changed and now there's a free spot especially for toddlers quite small but still. Personally it's quit expensive if you go less than 3x/week but might be worth going daily. Outdoor space training now available too with coconut trees and all!

It's good. They have everything you might need. Though, I find it weird there's a plastic surgery office right inside the gym: it could explain the sort of mentality some might have there. Seems to have a kindergarten and whatnot, but when it's closed, people bring their kid to a little spot with toys and transparent windows so they can't leave. I wouldn't say that's the best for your child. (Saw this one kid on there all alone and I felt bad for him.)

Really good place to train. I came here on their 10$ for a day deal on st jean. This place is absolutely huge and it seems like they have every machine that was invented for muscle building which is almost a meme how many different machine they have. It seems to be very much has a lot of emphasis on muscle building which I personally like. The only thing that shocked me is that they vary have any 2.5lb or 5lb plates. There is maybe 4 of them total which I find just absolutely weird. I get that maybe if you bench press 300 you increment with 2 10lb plates at a time but wow I can't do that....I want to progress at my pace and the fact that they have so little of those weights makes me think I would have to bring my own...which makes 0 sense and how is this pro ifthey don't offer 2.5 and 5lb plates as much as those 10lb plates... Price is okay, but my regular gym is éconofitness and the only thing better here is more selection of machine and just more space... So if you're a serious body builder and you're just the step before having your own gym, yeah come here, but for everyone else, I would start those cheop gyms at 20$ per month

Especially the hot/cold water which is random and simply shows lack of maintenance. The free huge parking is a great plus though. Only if they would fix the showers. You simply cant have a shower.

I really like the feel of this place. It is a combination between old school and modern equipments. For powerlifters and olympic weightlifters, there is a room where you can do heavy lifting which is very nice, you can do your pre-lift ritual :). The people at this gym are serious which keeps you motivated. Chalks are allowed in the free weights area. Even during busy hours, there is always a free bench and squat racks. I highly recommend this place.

A few days ago, I bought a pair of shoes which ended up being super uncomfortable and too big. I went to get a refund or an exchange, it took 7 whole days to even talk to a manager and even then, I only got 100$ on the 140$ I spent for the shoes. It was also just a store credit. It is the best equipped gym in Canada, it has what most gyms lack - atmosphere - which inspires you to train harder - and it's freaking huge - it has services most gyms could only dream of, trainers are pros with pedigree's - nobody pushes training on you - you have to seek it out - super friendly and respectful - it's got all the olde school equipment - and ultra modern - it's one block south of Olympic Parc at Pie IX Metro - super easy to get to - no gym in Montreal compares - it's that good.

I recommend management not to use artificial air freshener in the restrooms. It may smell good to some people however it's highly toxic ~I recommend placing power full fan instead. Also some Equipments don't have proper weight adjusting pins that may result serious injuries; I experience couple of time and luckily I am still safe. Otherwise it's an awesome real pro gym.

Beaucoup de services offerts sur place, tel que boutique de suppléments sportifs, boutique avec vêtements/articles sports, bronzage, esthétique, comptoir-lunch/breuvages, garderie, etc. Contrairement au gym qui est 24h en semaine, ces services ont leurs propres horaires. Ce serait encore mieux si le gym était ouvert 24h le week-end aussi. L'horaire des services pourrait aussi être plus pratique. Espace pour la boxe et cours d'aérobie. Le vestiaire et ses douches n'est pas leur point fort, mais j'ai vue pire. Le prix des abonnements est un peu élevé, mais ça le vaut. Peu accessible en transports en commun, mais bon espace de stationnement. L'ambiance est agréable.
