We used the pool, there's a rope swing, lazy river, wave pool, many diving boards, lane swimming and we topped it off with a dip in the hot tub! I could see others skating and I've watched soccer games and a upgraded gym there. It's very clean with family, men's and women's change rooms! A very enjoyable experience ????

This leisure Center is awesome! Took the family there for $20 and everyone had fun. It has lots of areas for younger and older kids. The lazy river is perfect for younger kids as well. The water slide is really neat, going outside and back inside and made to look like a snake. The hot tub was large and the steam room was probably one of the best I have been in. Booster juice service was good and they have a little indoor playground as well. There is a nice looking gym as well. This has fantastic value and will return here when I come to visit family.

I got sexually assaulted at the swimming pool by a man I didn't know of. I told the life guards and they didn't do anything and said they couldn't kick him out so I was the one that had to leave. Besides that incident it is a fun place to be at but please be careful and watch yourself and your kids.

It has a good sized wave pool, 8 swimming lanes that they label for leisure, moderate and fast swimmers, a deep end with rope and diving boards, another end with an adjustable floor that they often do aquafit classes on. There's also a waterslide, hot tub, steam room, tot pool, and lazy river. My experiences here have been good, staff has been friendly. Change rooms have needed cleaning but I've also been there in the couple hours before closing. Also wish their hours were a bit longer.

I give the recreation here three stars. Medicine Hat, is a small city,but have a lot of people living on disability or social assistance .There is a lot of recreation for people, but God helps you if your dog ever ran off leash anywhere. During the steaming hot days you can let your dog in the river to play with one eye open. What I hated the most, is any service dog that is not trained in Alberta by an Albertan trainer they require that you turn over the animal for a week to be retrained to be a service dog by an Albertan trainer. No matter where they are from or the role the dog plays in the disabled person's life. And, it is for a fee of $200 Ca. Not a good place for disabled tourist with a service animal because its going to cost you big. You are also, require to take the dog to an Albertan vet for a clean bill of health before turning your dog over. I would not recommend this place at all!!!!

Awesome place for fitness or leisure sports, offering full basketball, football and volleyball courts including a hockey arena indoors and outdoor is a full sized American football pitch, 2 x football (soccer) pitches and 2 x baseball pitches. Furthermore there is a 200m running track within the fitness centre upstairs and a full swimming pool for leisure, regular classes are avaliable to join if you speak to a employee for details. Awesome place at only $50 a month for one person or a family yearly or monthly plan is avaliable as well. I would recommend to anyone who will utilise the facilities well however if you are looking at only using three times in a fortnight then maybe look for somewhere a bit cheaper.

Great pool for kids and adults alike. Good lane swimming pool. It has a water slide and diving boards for everyone and both are fun times. When it is busy it can be crowded in the pool but go at the right time and the pool is tons of fun! Water is always at a comfortable temperature. The change rooms can get dirty and the family change room is especially irksome. The codes usually do not work and you spend most of the time trying to get in with a cold kid. The new work out facility is great and the fieldhouse looks awesome. Always lots to do!!!

Good place to go for exercise or swimming, hot tub , sauna . Has wave pool . As well as a water slide. $55 for a monthly pass gets you access to the pool and fitness room, so it's cheaper then most private gyms. (Although it has less equipment but you don't need all the gimmicks)

A great facility with many activities and equipment available for the public to use. The pool is available most of the time for use, rooms for gatherings can be booked, the ice rink and gyms are often in use by local teams, and the exercise equipment is top notch. We recently used the pool and a room for my niece's birthday party which was so much fun.

The covid pass was great considering the limitations, but the website to book lanes and renew passes is broken. The links never redirect you to the memberships page and the drop in fee during covid is 5$, not 10.24$? I've had a pass the whole time, but I can't renew it, and I cant book lanes because of it, and no one answers the phone or responds to emails. Kind of impossible to get any of this done when you work 70 hours a week... very frustrated.

Went for the pool, and had a blast. There were lots of people there, but it wasn't too crowded in the wave pool. The waterslide and plunge pools had a short wait for each one. Spent roughly 2.5 hours there and enjoyed every minute.

A wide variety of activities for the family are available at the FLC, including a large wave pool, tot pool, variable depth lane pool and diving tank, along with a waterslide and 1, 3, and 5 metre diving platforms, and that's just in the Kinsmen Aquatic Park! Also in the facility are a full Olympic size hockey surface, 2 huge indoor multi-sport fields, a large weight facility with a running track, and plenty of community accessible meeting rooms. The only downside to the facility is that admission is all-inclusive, so you can't just pay to swim or use the weight room separately.

Will not be coming back. We were denied entry yesterday because we didn't have ID and my child(7) ended up late to a party. We were not staying only dropping off and picking up, The suggestion of the guard was to just send my child in alone and leave him to find where he was going by himself. Won't be recommending this place to anyone and we be back in the future. I'll spend more money somewhere else that is accepting, understanding, and clean. 0/10

The leisure centre is an incredible place to stop at. It's added so much the last few years and has kept up really well. Whether you want to go swimming, skating or working out this is a place to go. They have a fantastic wave pool, plenty of lanes, various levels of diving boards and a slide to boot in the pool area alone. I've been going here since I was a kid and since moving to Medicine Hat even more frequently and have yet to be disappointed.

City of MH needs a swimming option on the south side 9f the city!!! Water is always on the cold side, change rooms usually need 'attention' and there is little to draw people over the age of 15 if they haven't arrived with children. It's great having something for everyone. a hot tub, Lane swim, paddling pool, wave pool, Slide, skating, fitness, etc. And if you don't want to do that there are sitting areas where you can watch everything. The only thing missing is a food area. I know Orange Julius is there but people want something more to eat, especially after they have been there a long time. I enjoy the pool and hot tub it's relaxing and calming. Sometimes I find the hot tub too hot. Otherwise all is good. The staff are all excellent and very attentive and friendly. Especially for having such night responsibilitys to look after. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I'm a member at leisure..what I don't agree with.every time I want to use the gym..front desk give you 5 numbers to remember..that you half to enter so gym door will unlock to enter..is there not a better system.like showing your member card.once inside of gym..also.why was it built where.once you have a work out..you have to walk across the hall way...have your swim.walk back in your wet swim trunks dripping water..most leisure center I've been in..are more convenient..for the customer..better lay out.and you 10 day drop in fee is way over priced.i think it was 50 or 60 dollars.we albertens are have it hard with finding steady work.besides that.staff is very help full and polite..great gym..could use water coolers.instead of one fill up in all of gym.i hope this helps...cheers

My kiddos and I have started going to tot time again since things have reopened. Before the pandemic, tot time was free and now it is $5 per family. I get why they may have had to start doing this but I must admit I was a little disappointed of this change. But, it has been worth it for us to go once a week. I was particularly impressed this week by a Leisure Centre worker bringing out more toys for the kids at tot time when there were a lot of kids there! It was nice that he made that extra effort to make sure all the kids had something to play with!!

Loved it. We went to the swimming pool, it wasn't that much more expensive than the outside pools we've been going to all summer and it had way more stuff to do. My 8 year old spent most of the time on the waterslide and the rope swing.

The family leisure centre? It closes early on weekends, holidays. The main pool is usually closed off to the public. The largest piece of real estate is the main desk with one employee/volunteer. Honestly , my number 1 complaint is the weak hours.

Been going here since I was a kid. Loved it then and now with the extention, it's definitely worth getting a membership. I wish they extended the pool a bit and maybe added another waterslide as there are not many good waterslides in this city. I also wish they had more specialized gym equipment, but I'm sure they'll add to it over time. They certainly have the room for it.

Disappointing and poor customer service. Called twice. No answer either time. Second call I was still waiting after 45 min for a human to answer the phone when I walked into the FLC. Saw 2 people working behind desk. I asked why no one is answering phone, she said she it too busy. Too busy for 45 min?!?! How can there be no one to answer a phone in 45 min?!?! I answer calls in my job and am able to prioritize and still answer phone calls in a timely manner. Absolutely ridiculous. A phone call would’ve saved me the 20 min drive there. Not going back.

The new extension is a great new place to have fun and hang out with your friends. The pool is still awesome, and I like it cuz when I go there with my friends there's lots to do, and now there's a new Booster Juice. I hope that they get a new concession cuz I really like their fries and poutine????????
