On August 20th of 2018, I went into this gym to possible join. I asked if they had the special on in which you do not have to pay the $50 membership fee ( scam) and they said no. I paid the fee and joined. 10 days later they had this special on and I of course asked for a refund. The answer being "NO". I carried on (not happy). Three weeks into working out almost everyday I forgot my towel. No problem, I thought they have towel service. I go to the front desk and ask for a towel, I am informed it is $3, sure I say I will bring it in when I go to my car. Nope not allowed, I had to go back up to the changing room get my keys, change my footwear, go out to the car get the $3 in the rain while I am all sweaty. I am not sure what they thought I would never come back to the Gym because of $3. This left a bad feeling, whenever I walked into the Gym. I found myself not going. I decided I would cancel my membership and sent an email asking what I needed to do. Two days later I get a reply, which happened to be the time they took out the monthly fee. The email said I had to go to the gym and sign a form. So a week later I go in and am informed that it takes 30 days for them to cancel a membership and that I will have to pay for another month or $50 for immediate cancellation( which is more than the monthly membership. Very curious as to why I was not informed of this 30 days in the email. I guess it would not have mattered since the return email did not give me the time(30 days) anyways. I have belonged to gyms my whole life and actual worked in several and have never had such poor service. This gym does not care about it members.
