Bref, un samedi raté ensemble, j’ai dû laisser mon fils s’entraîner avec ma carte et moi l’attendre dehors dans la voiture. Quel manque de courtoisie et de professionnalisme ; je suis stupéfait !

My favorite Econofitness so far! :-) (I've also tried the mixed one in CDN, the women's gym near Acadie, and the 24/7hr one on Bleury). PROS: - CLEANLINESS: VERY clean (my inner clean freak is really happy haha). - STAFF Ladies, you are amazing. I'm always greeted with a smile (when I walk in and out). Way to go! - EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY: I went to this gym at different times of the day, and never had any issues accessing the equipment of my choice. Now, I do mostly cardio and stretching lately, but the gym is never packed. - CLIENTELE: Had no issue with anyone. All the ladies have been polite and considerate so far! - SIZE: Medium size, works fine for me! CON: - SCHEDULE: I find that this gym closes too early in general. These days I always end up going to the mixed Econofitness gyms, because this one always closes earlier: 5 pm on a Sat is really too early.. During the week, I would suggest closing at 10:30pm. Please review and adjust? :-) Overall, very happy with this gym!

The facility, changing rooms and the space itself is very nice and new. The equipment were very new as well and each one had instructional stickers or pamphlets on the machines that were super helpful. My only problem is the clients who go here, to be honest. This is a gym very heavily used by men and, when I was there, I didn't feel comfortable. Most of them were fine and normal but others just watched you train or take up machines when they're lifting weights and could use a bench. One even tried to correct me on how to use a machine I was very familiar with which wasn't fun. I know some gyms dim the lights a little bit so that it makes for a more comfortable environment but this one has their lights up all the way in case you're wondering. This review is coming after coming on their free day and I don't feel comfortable coming back but that's just me. The facility and staff were very nice though so it's a shame.

The gym, equipment and amenities are good but the customer service is terrible. Lots of attitude from the staff though. When I had signed up for the gym, I was asked repeatedly don't I want a program to lose weigh. I measure 1. 58 m and weigh 50kg. My BMI is 20. That was not my interest. When I needed to cancel my contract because I had moved, I presented in person to be told I needed to get an appointment and would be called. When I received no call after a few days, I made a complaint. I received a call the next day saying that call the day before although I had no missed calls on my phone... When I called back for an appointment, no one could book it for me except for that 1 specific person. Never a single apology, only a sense of entitlement that they are aloud to do this. This was a very frustrating and such a waste of time. I've been to other gyms... Everywhere else is better!

I was with my partner and he had forgotten his card twice with this specific gym location. As per the lady at the counter, "the rules entails" that they have to be charged $10 for a new card or go back home to get their card. We live in Ville St Laurent, Montreal and we rotate between this gym and in VSL to work out with a friend. The way the staff we dealt with was very unprofessional as if we are toddlers asking where is our card and that is the rule to go back home and drive 24 km just to get the card or pay $10. I've been to many gyms before and other gyms have been understanding and courteous unlike this gym. VSL was never a problem and the staff was always polite and accomodating with reason but I can't say the same for the Blainville location. If this is your policy, you need to change it because it has left us all a bitter taste.

I love the fact that this gym is women only. But unless your only thing in life is cardio, this gym is super basic and disappointing in terms of equipment. I would rather have an extra squat rack, some resistance bands & elastics, MORE barbells and kettlebells, a TRX, gliding discs, foam rollers and some medicine balls than a tanning bed! I'm here to build muscle and burn fat; not develop a skin cancer! They also provide nothing to clean the equipment once you're done (that's right: no cleaning wipes), so you're left rubbing in your sweat into the equipment with YOUR OWN towel (it's genuinely gross). At this point, I just hope the management will make the necessary adjustments to improve the overall experience, i.e. BUY EQUIPMENT & CLEANING WIPES! We simply deserve better.

J'ai l'impression qu'on me traite comme un enfant. Certains employés ne sont pas très motivés à garder cet endroit propre, surtout le vestiaire. Il y a aucun papier à main alors certains dégâts reste. Au lieu de me servir la même réponse automatique après mon commentaire, faite quelque chose de concret pour accommoder vos clients. Ce type de gym est du type millenial qui cherche un gym bon marché, et en parlant de millenial, on parle de cellulaire. Les cellulaires sont une nuisance pour les autres clients quand l'utilisateur se prête à faire du texto assis sur l'appareil d'exercice pendant son repos. Connaissez-vous le principe de l'alternance ? C'est une règle de base dans n'importe quel gym. Libérez la place afin que les autres puissent utiliser l'appareil. Les poids jetés par terre après un exercice est un manque de civisme. Un accident peut arrivé, mais quand je l'entend plusieurs fois par le même utilisateurs, j'avais l'impression que le plancher allait s'effondrer sur moi. Vos employés sont souvent des petites jeunes filles, et qui ne peuvent pas s'interposer quand un client manque de civisme. Parlons propreté.... Le vestiaire... dans un gym c'est la salle qui devrait être la plus propre du gym quand on la décence de prendre soin de soi. Le plancher est salle, cela parait très bien dans les coins. Je pouvait remarqué des taches de sang par terre. Le fautif aurait bien voulu ramasser son dégât, mais vous aviez enlevé toute les distributrice de papier brun pour les remplacer par des séchoir à main qui sont plus répandeur de bactéries. Ces murs qui sont en dessous de ces séchoir ont changé de couleur parce que c'est pas nettoyé... Bref, Éconofitness reflète ce que la majorité de québécois font: Il payent le prix pour ne pas avoir de service. ________________________________________________________________________ Mise à jour 19-01-2020 4 mois plus tard, j'affirme que rien n'a changé depuis la mise-à-jour précédente. C'est toujours aussi sale et les usagers manquent de civisme. La propreté du vestiaire laisse toujours à désirer. Je remarque toujours les mêmes taches, poussière et des morceaux louches collés au plancher au fil des mois... Pour les douches, il faut laver le plancher nous-même avec, heureusement, un arrosoir à notre disposition. Pour avoir de l'eau chaude, passez votre tour. Quand on pense qu'il y a des douches payantes avec tous les inconvénients, c'est risible... Toujours des plaintes sur la propreté du vestiaire des hommes. Toujours des plaintes au niveau du civisme: flânage avec le cellulaire sur les appareils. On attend trop souvent pour s’entraîner... Aucune station de nettoyage pour laver le dégât de sueur laissé par un usager. Selon des bonnes sources, les propriétaires pensent miser sur l'environnement pour changer de papier à main pour des séchoir à main, mais la vrai raison, c'est qu'ils sont trop cheap pour acheter des produits. La faute ne va pas sur les employées. Elles obéissent aux ordres. Elles sont super gentilles et prennent nos commentaires sur papier et je leur en remercie, mais le message passe pas jusqu'au cerveau des propriétaires. Déjà 9 mois dans ce gym, et la conclusion reste que Éconofitness veut que ton cash, et laisse faire le reste. Un changement de gym sera à considérer quand le contrat se terminera...

Very clean gym with an extremely friendly staff. I cannot remove stars because the gym is on the smaller side because for what it is, the gym is perfect. Enough machines to be able to do nearly any exercise. I have not however tried any of the group classes. For a budget gym, what more can you expect.
