If I could I would give Nicole 10 stars! I was in a rut that I didn't know how to get out of and thankfully heard about Nicole. She is amazing at teaching you how to workout when you have pelvic and abdominal issues after children. I now can workout symptom free! I.highly suggest any women who is pregnant or has given birth to go see Nicole!

Nicole is amazing, you can tell her anything and everything and you can tell she is a true pro. She has put in the time and research to keep herself ahead of the fitness game, so she can actually program you properly to accomplish all your goals. She is not you're run of the mill personal trainer, she knows what she is talking about, and corrects you personally. I feel like with Nicole by my side, I really am going to accomplish my fitness goals.

Nicole is an absolutely wonderful trainer and one of the best things to happen to me in 2018. I come from a background of having had multiple trainers and can honestly say Nicole tops them all. Why? 1) She takes the time to set up foundation properly so you don't get hurt. Doing things without proper form may have been ok when I was younger, but once you hit 30 and beyond, your body isn't so forgiving 2) She starts slowly and progresses appropriately so you never feel like you dislike working out, in fact you love it because 3) Nicole is truly and genuinely a friendly and caring person who really cares about her clients and their well-being. She isn't trying to make a quick buck by over selling and over promising, but she knows that it's really a matter of consistency and time, and she'll get you to your goals. The friendly chats we have during our sessions are a lovely bonus! 4) The meal plan she provides her clients is one that is realistic, well balanced, doesn't leave you deprived and has the longest list of substitutions I've ever seen! I say this as someone who has graduated from one of Canada's top schools of Nutrition. 5) As I noted I have had several trainers before in several settings, from large gyms to bootcamp like classes and yet Nicole still brings new and challenging moves or ways to activate different muscle groups, which is very exciting 6) Nicole is a mom who has had her own struggles with weight loss and fad diets. This is so important because she knows how big of a mental game it is, and how hard it is as a mom to carve time for yourself, so she really does her best to accommodate you. Not to mention her expertise when it comes to matters of the pelvic floor muscles. So, in short, while Nicole may not use a lot of the buzz words popular in the industry, this is for good reason. She is truly unique and brings honesty and empathy into the equation, in addition to her training skills, which should bring lasting results, and not just quick and dirty weight-loss which may destroy your metabolism for years to come. If you're unsure about hiring a trainer, keep in mind that personal training also brings that level of commitment needed to succeed in your fitness journey. I struggled for months to commit even though I'm a nutritionist! I needed someone to be accountable to, and Nicole was that person. I can honestly say I love my training sessions! Maybe not all the excercises hahaha, but she gets me through them. While I still have a long way to go to achieve my goals, as I had tried so many quick fixes that left me worse off than before, I'm confident that I'm now on the right path with Nicole and have already seen amazing changes in a few short months. From increased energy, to body reshaping, weight loss, increased strength and lastly, yet most importantly, increased confidence, making the decision to stop scrolling on my Instagram feed and go see Nicole was my best decision of the year! Following the birth of my first child I found myself anxious to get back into shape. I returned to my at-home workouts at 3 months postpartum. Unfortunately this did not help my mild case of diastasis recti and actually worsened it. After seeing a physiotherapist for this and my pelvic health I still felt unsure about returning to my workouts. I was scared of poor form causing further damage and interfering with healing. Nicole’s foundation program was just what I needed to boost my confidence in my ability to heal my body while exercising. She approached the posture I had assumed since my pregnancy and gave me lasting reminders of how to correct it in my daily routine. Nicole went above and beyond by demonstrating how I can lift safely at work. I felt safe, heard and educated after our session together and would recommend this program to all mommies!

I saw Nicole for her Foundation Program(which you can purchase online from her website!) and she helped me learn so much about my core after having my first baby in 2018. Fast forward to 2020, I gave birth to my second baby and had terrible pelvic floor pain! By the end of my second pregnancy I could barely walk unassisted and even though I got support from my pelvic physiotherapist I didn’t know how I was going to get back to my regular workouts and feeling like myself again. I came back to work with Nicole having practised the foundation program teachings at home, and although I was a lot better at that time in terms of my mobility I still couldn’t do a lunge without feeling pain in my pelvic floor. It only took Nicole five minutes to explain to me how my posture was interfering with me being able to do the movement well and with her coaching I was able to do a low lunge right away with absolutely no pain — it totally blew my mind. It was hard to feel like myself after my first baby but it’s been even tougher after my second. My body definitely did not bounce back as easily as I did the first time and because I was in such severe pain near the end of my pregnancy I definitely let myself go in many ways. Nicole is a bundle of energy and light and I love every minute that we get to spend together. I signed up for her three month program and I am in love with my sessions as early as they may be. Nicole never stops learning and that knowledge gets transferred to each of her clients — she knows exactly what to do no matter what I’m feeling. I’m incredibly grateful for her support on this journey and after only 7 sessions with her I am lifting weights and breaking quite a sweat and feeling great every single time. Nicole also makes sure that her clients are getting the support that they need even if they’re not seeing her in person. She’s incredibly responsive online and develops a work out plan for me to be able to do at home. I’m so excited for whati I’ve been able to do in our short time together and I can’t wait to keep going! Everyone needs Nicole as their coach.

I booked a consultation with Nicole hoping to learn some safer ways to lift heavy/awkward loads to avoid triggering pain. I was absolutely astounded by the experience. Nicole found the source of my problems immediately and tailored my session to my specific needs. She gave me detailed information to help me understand how things works, why it’s not currently working well and how to solve my problem. In a very short time she also taught me how to breathe properly, lift properly based on body’s current ability/limitations, she gave me tips for the future as well as options for future goals. I've had a lot of low back pain since I was pregnant with my first. I've tried chiro, osteo, and working out but nothing has worked for very long. In doing the Foundation Program, I have been much more aware of how I'm moving my body. I've always known to "lift with your legs" when moving heavy objects but Nicole insistence that it's the dead lift I need to work on was a big aha... I started noticing how poor my posture was doing simple things like putting scraps in my green bin, or picking clothes up off the floor. My back feels SO MUCH stronger after only a week, and more importantly, I can pick out what I'm doing in my day that's either hurting me or supporting me. I highly recommend Nicole's Foundation Program.

Nicole is an excellent personal trainer. I recently completed her Foundational program and have learned so much about my body, and how to protect it to work out in a way that is both safe and effective. I have learned how to breath and move in ways that helps my pelvic floor, as well as supports my body. I sought out Nicole a few years after seeing a road sign regarding tummy fitness post pregnancy and later receiving a mailer to my house. I had just been learning about diastasis recti (abdominal separation) post pregnancy and understood that this was something I might be struggling with. When the time was right I called Nicole for a consultation and was immediately inspired by her energy and positivity! She explained that the after effects of pregnancy (pelvic floor health and D.R.) do not have to stay that way! With her many years of experience treating women, it was encouraging to hear she had seen it work with women 20 years older than me. I signed up for 48 sessions with a friend and I have seen more positive changes with my body in 4 months than I ever have with traditional training. Nicole's passion is quality not quantity. If the move cannot be performed with proper form, you may not even be targeting the right spot anymore. It works! Through learning her core breath techniques and quality workouts I feel stronger and more confident and I self correct my posture on a regular basis preventing injury. This is not your "can't move let alone sit down" type of workout routine. Its practical, doable, fun and achieves great results. Do yourself a favour, if you're looking for personal training...and you're female, have a consultation with Nicole. Even the bits she shares in consult will change your life if you apply them! So go, call her...you won't regret it. (plus she's funny as heck and has a smile that makes you not hate early mornings at the gym!) Just remember to leave a spot open for me!!
