Favorite gym. Everything is great!

LOWER YOUR PRICES

Love this facility. If you're looking for a great atmosphere this is the place. Everyone is so friendly and it's very clean.

Employees don't care

In general terrible experience; good riddance.

Best gym in Kitchener

Has improved a lot I feel They keep the good customer service. I never had an issue and I still visit the gym every 3 day

Awesome team!

They just redid the interior and it looks pretty nice. My big complaint is that the bars are pretty thick and make it difficult to do deadlifts.

The women’s section is so terrible they might as well not even have one. The open workout area was mediocre.

Well equipped gym, with friendly staff. The equipment is a bit tightly packed, and some machines are a bit tired. Spacious locker rooms and clean shower area.

They had one of their managers handing out flyers in the plaza, and I asked why it would be if I upgraded my no commitment membership to Ontario wide and she said 22.99 and I went to go get it it was 24.99 so I talked to the general manager Berta and said what happened calm and softly. She got snippy and said NO, said "I need to call _____ out" and proceeded to pick up the phone and call so I left. Once I get another promo email for crunch I'll be leaving. Don't give you staff trouble via phone infront of customers and be snippy about your team's mistakes

Outdated and on the brink of breaking machines in the womens section of the gym. Wish we would see more in that part of the gym guess its not that important. Wifi would be awesome as well.

Fun workout classes and people

Would really appreciate it if they didn't call me 5 times asking what time im going to come in for a session or why i cancelled my membership. Kind of borderline harassment..

Good Covid protocols on cleaning equipment

Cybex arc trainer is my frenemy.

Love that this place is 24/7. Most of the staff are great! Leanne is a wonderful greeter and always so ready and willing to help! The gym itself is pretty big and has a wide variety of things available. Lots of equipment and classes. The early mornings are the least busy as well as the very late evenings. They have heart rate/blood pressure and Tanita scale machines.

I like goodlife

Nice staff and lots of machines/space. But what I find a bit weird is that no one brings their own towels,so you better wipe each machine before using it ...also meatheads dropping the weights when deadlifting is crazy annoying. There wasn't a minute without the loud sounds of dropping weights...

Great gym to work out at. Nice and clean!

Awesome Club, amazing instructor's and well 2nd to none the Les Mils program. Welcome back to my GoodLife. Control your morning and own your day.

Best exercise place ever. Always something going on class wise for those not afraid to join in group exercising. Every trainer is top notch whom really care about the people theyre training.

Great front desk staff, good equipment always clean.

Good people and good gym.

If you guys implement the vax passport I will never step foot in your facility ever again.

Great Gym but the trainers need to learn to follow gym suggestions and rack their weights and wipe down their benches

Over priced for what you get

Managment is outstanding and they aren't pushy about getting a trainer I'm very happy with this gym

The quality of yoga instruction at GoodLife is pretty low. They don't pay their instructors well, so as soon as teachers have experience they move to other studios or gyms where they are paid better.

Needs new towels, current ones are small, thin and coarse

Everything is awsome but the thing which gave worst experience is their maintainence time as there were two things which have been there for repair but nobody fixed that stuff

The best part is it's 24/7. Staff are friendly and they do have pretty much all the equipment we need

Much smaller and less equipment than Waterloo location

Great

Perfect facility, friendly staff, and excellent equipment. Best gym in KW

Nicely equipped, excellent inviaermen.

Awesome staff, the place is nice and spacious.

Clean gym, friendly staff for the most part. Membership prices have gotten to be way too high for what you get. While mine is good, it's an old account. But the membership I bought for my daughter is way over priced. I have access to all locations while she is limited to this one and her account costs double mine. The amount of equipment and amenities that are constantly out of service can get bad. Understandable that things break, but the amount of time it takes to repair or replace is pathetic and purely a sign poor/lazy management. The facility itself has had the same leak from the ceiling vent in the main area for years. Once the AC is on you can count on a bucket being on the floor. The removal of evening child care is just idiotic. It was volunteer run with no shortage of volunteers. The room just sits empty now. If you are looking for a gym to go to, shop around. This place is not what it once was. It's a "value" gym that is trying price themselves on the level of Movati without any of the extras. If you're going to pay Movati level prices, go there instead.

Expect to not have access to basic customer service and expect unexpected unauthorized charges without your knowledge.

Smaller GoodLife but still good to go to

Highly recommend fairway goodlife. Staff is very friendy. Good equipments and environment.open 24/7.

It seems pretty alright still, that is when I go...

A bit of a silent protest here: Gyms with predatory contracts similar to or now illegal cellphone contracts should be shamed out of existence. I’ll gladly remove this 1 star if they stop exploiting Canadian consumers. If you agree with me feel free to copy and paste this into your own anti predatory gym google or other review. #MakeFitnessEthical2020

Older equipment

The worst part about these people are that they'll eat ur brains out for anything and everything. I was over just to get a gym tour and it was the biggest headache of my life asking them for a gym tour

Friendly staff, good equipment and usually pretty tidy.

Yesterday i visited good life kitchner just for trial because i wanted to get member ship But thank god (Ali) you saved my money Because you suggest me crunch Cambridge Yes it is same as you told me it’s cheaper than your good life fitness

Been going here for years and this gym is great! There's lots of free space (except in January) and equipment is in good condition.

As busy as it was, managed to get machine I wanted. Lots of hot water,????

In my opinion the best place burn calories. Thumbs up!!????????????????????????

My home gym

Super clean gym and great staff

Very clean. Great cardio section.

Like to go there for body flow mainly. But all classes are good. I’d love to have BF earlier approximately at 17-30 and three times per week in the evening. But yet only twice at that time.

Usually pretty good but there always seems to be issues with something broken like the sauna heater or sauna light. Pretty clean though but hard to get to on fairway rd during rush hour. They should not have closed market Square location. I am shopping around for a new gym now since they refuse to open a location on Kitcheners north east area, namely the east ward and Victoria st north but over so it on the west end

Just had my first personal training session through my work membership with Desiree. She was awesome! Very helpful and informative. Great facility would recommend to anyone in the area looking to get in shape and reach their fitness goals!

I visit this location daily during the school year. It’s so convenient having it 24 hours along with very clean Change rooms, bathrooms and all workout areas. Great staff as well! Definitely One of my favourite GoodLife locations away from home.

Very Small cluttered spaces.

Great gym. Love the towel service

I like coming here late or early morning, not real busy then but still the odd person tossing weights around or dropping the machines, not cool!

Staff is friendly, can be a a little pushy when trainers are working the floor for new clients

It's small and cramped. They have the usual equipment but it's common that both squat rack or both benches are used in the morning. Staff seem friendly. Not a bad gym but nothing special

Great staff.

Friendly staff

Great gym, not to large but not to small. Has some excellent staff and all the equipment is is good shape.

Awesome staff here. Clearly establishment

Very unprofessional staff, small and clattered space it's always to Hot 22 c that is crazy

Has to be the worst GoodLife location. Doesn’t matter what time you go all equipment is being used. They took out a lot of equipment and didn’t replace it with anything. This gym should be flatten to the ground

I wish I could give them -10 most unprofessional stay away from Goodlife fitness there will rip you off they told you the membership is cancelled and after two month they asking you payment because someone in the store didn’t understand my request

I got kicked out for wearing gymshark T-shirt and joggers because it doesn't fit policy

I used my 14 day pass for a day, I will pass and continue planet fitness. Got kicked off machines for trainers priority.

it's not completely just the place; it's the club manager running a circus (who is by far not communicable and waste of time) some of staff as well influenced by her circus show but the front desk staff are good.

I have been going to goodlife for a long time and I find that Owen and Alexia are very professional and outstanding in their customer service. If I need anything they're both there when I need them. You have a great team (Owen and Alexia) and I think they need a raise for all the hard work that they do in your location....

I usually go to Williamsburg location but I went yesterday afternoon to the fairway location as I was at the mall earlier and only 3 people were at the gym and what seems to be sort of manager was yelling at 2 of them ! Very negative energy at this place ! Not coming back !

Its a decent facility, though compared to other Goodlife locations much smaller. I definitely miss all the classes, as the fairway location has very few and very odd timings. Hoping they can start more classes at various times (like other locations)

Good equipments but expensive

Exercise class instructors are excellent and enthusiastic. Clean change room and washroom (ladies’). Sometimes classes start and end a bit late but instructors try to stay on schedule. Front desk staff greet members at the door, which is nice.

Good Life is an awesome gym. I always have a great workout when I'm there. Everyone is so helpful and friendly.

I wanted to transfer my primary location to here. But the staff let me know that the rates have gone up since I signed up, and to transfer I would have to accept the increase. Bad policy and poor customer service to a repeat customer.

Great gym friendly staff.

Great staff plus girls section

Great fitness center...I love the towel service

Too packed, Dirty and trainers get first priority on machines in normal area.

Facilities are very awesome but expensive

The trainers kick me off machines in common area because "Clients are a Priority". Planet fitness here we come!!!

all goodlife fitness is going towards fitness , no dropping weights,be quiet etc.. i miss hammer strength machines from market sq, those new ones are bad... Also hire more friendly, younger stuff, some of those old people should find different job...

I really like the facility but the pushy sales people ruined my experience there. I had more than 5 calls in a week to "sit down as ask about my trial" while I'm in class, at work etc.

Great Gym! Great staff! Great Instructors.

It's a good gym, friendly staff, lots of machines and free weights. My only complaint is that it seems to take a while for them to fix something when broken. All around i've been there over a year and i'll continue going there.

I like this gym because it's close to my work. It's got almost everything I need for its size, it's a smaller GoodLife gym but still doesn't feel too crowded. I definitely recommend it.

Has everything you need.

Crooks, straight up

Not happy with the maintenance of this location. Always weights on everything never re-racked and covered in sweat marks. The toilets are always covered in piss and fecal stains.

Good selection of machines. Not as busy as others.

Great place for an excellent workout.

Price sucks, gyms great. Employees are nice, not too many Meat heads

Open 24/7 and offer various classes. Best part of it is the massage chair. ????

Great staff. Great facilities

My trainer David F. was amazing trainer. Very courteous and friendly. He taught me how to use all the equipments correctly as I had never been to any gym before. Thank you GoodLife Fitness and David for great service.

I love the energy from the RPM instructors ... always clean and friendly stuff

Clean and professional

always hot in the aerobics room, despite complaints. womens side no floor space. why is there no action on this?

Very clean, utilitarian gym. I got the premium membership and really appeciate the towel service, hydro bed and massage chairs. Huge spin room, large floor room, padded stretching area, trainers-only section, and a small sauna. Showers are always stocked and clean. Only been a member for about a month but all good so far. Trainers seem knowledgable. Very diverse group of friendly staff and quiet members of all ages (not a particularly social gym). Multiples of the main gym equipment but only one peice for most isolation exercices. Traffic on the street is quite busy (Fairway) but the gym never seems very full even during peak hours. Wifi is decent (runs youtube at 360-720p) although there is a disclaimer that wifi is only for music. Lots of small TVs that are only really visible from the first row of cardio machines.

Love the equipments here. The classes are good

My husband and I have been members for over 20 years and have enjoyed what GoodLife has offered us up until approximately 1 year ago. The club that we have generally attended has been the fairway location. Recently there has been a huge change in staff which raises a few red flags. It is very frustrating when you pay extra for towel service but there is often nobody at the front desk when you arrive. There should be some one there at all times to greet members who are arriving. This used to never be a problem and now it seems this occurs more often than not!! The bathrooms are often quite dirty and missing toilet paper and soap and when you are leaving and meaning to mention this to a staff member, there isn’t anyone at the front desk. My husband showers more often than I at the gym and has noticed that the showers have been out of soap. It is expected that you remove your shoes at the front door but because not everybody does this I’m usually walking into the change room with wet feet. There must be a better system so that the people who follow the rules don’t have to put up with this?? I arrived today to do a spin class and for the second day in a row there was no instructor. I understand that this is flu season and people get sick but the manager did not even come in to the class to inform anybody that this was happening. The members had to get off their bikes and go out to the front desk to inquire. Lastly, I work in the medical field and I find it hard to believe that removing most of the hand sanitizer dispensers from the gym was a smart move!! They used to be everywhere throughout the gym and now they are hard to find. I think there is one in the entire coed cardio area and today it was empty! Really......during an epidemic?? I think we will consider going to Williamsburg location from now on where there are often 2 greeters at the front door, clean bathrooms stocked with soap and toilet paper and so far, staff who show up to work! I have on a few occasions tried to find the manager to speak with her face to face but have not had success in doing so.
