One of the best schools for Kids and Adults around. Chris has an amazing curriculum for younger kids and when they get older they get to join the original TaeKwondo martial art. Adults teach all the classes! You children will be taught by a 5th degree for every class (not a junior BB). It's safe, fun and educational for all kids. Talk about confidence and focus! I wish I had this training as a kid. As an adult, I did my 1st and 2nd Dan (Black Belt) at this school and the history and tradition is respected but Chris ads new ideas and practices. Highly recommended.

Chris's "Fit4Defense" Class is so empowering. When abducted at age 17, I had no idea how to defend myself...until now ! After becoming a mother, I had a lot of fear for my children's safety that escalated when police came knocking on our door to warn about a known pedophile in the neighborhood..(yes.right here....only a short drive from downtown Kelowna) Chris has given us lots of tools . This class should be mandatory for every school-aged child to learn, for their own safety !!! ..and hopefully they will teach their parents. Quest Martial Arts it’s a top notch facility for children’s Tae Kwon Do. Mr.Rowe is absolutely fantastic with the kids. Having the ability to have the kids be in the midst of high energy fun and games, to straight down into a meditation. Children there build confidence, self awareness, and leadership skills. I can not say enough great things about Quest, and it is worth every penny. The entire Rowe family is top notch, and have created a solid business, through their hard work and consistency. I cannot express enough what this place has done for our family in a positive way. We put our oldest son (7) into lessons about 2 years ago and to see him grow into a confident, respectful young man has been such a blessing. The instructors not only teach martial arts, they teach manners, respect, confidence, integrity and self love. Mr. Rowe teaches a variety of age groups and to witness him go from a group of adults to a group of young children while shifting the necessary training to accommodate the difference in age is awe inspiring. His patients with children is not only a gift, but genuine. I have always wanted to join in the adult classes but was too nervous. But, I faced my fears and jumped right in, and to this very second, I have never been so happy I did. I can see why people consider this place a second home. When Covid unfortunately struck our world; Mrs. And Mr. Rowe became determined to keep the establishment open and continue to take the necessary steps to keep the place safe, happy and healthy. I can honestly say that my 5 year old son enjoys going to Quest Martial Arts Academy very much. He is always reminding me which days are 'taekwondo' days. If I miss a session because dad or grandma are picking him up then when we see each other he is excited to show me his new skills that he has learned. If there is a new stripe on his belt he is proudly showing his friends and family. Before he started 7 weeks ago I was having some challenges with him such as trouble listening, couldn't sit still, constant use of band aids due to falling and getting hurt and a child that seemed to bounce or jump his way from one spot to another. After 7 weeks of classes and day camps I can say we still have a way to go but there have been a number of improvements. He now sits still longer, walks more than jumps, listens better, uses less band aids thanks to learning balance and control of his body. These are only but a few areas in which I have noticed improvements and they have carried over into his time at daycare which gives me the confidence that he will use his new skills once he starts kindergarten in September. A big thank you to you and your amazing leadership team for creating an environment that is the perfect balance of being encouraging, firm and positive....A perfect place for which my son can learn and grow to be a better person in.

This Academy offers so much more then Tae-Kwon-Do due to how it supports the students mentally as well as physically. You can watch your children progress in life skills as they learn about respect, goals, empathy and discipline. It really embodies the whole person inside and out in the teachings they are receiving. I took my 11 year old son to Quest Martial Arts to work with Mr. Rowe. The goal was to develop his core strength, improve balance, and begin learning Tae kwon Do. It looked like something I could do and benefit from as well. Even though up to that point i was not physically active and a little out of shape, I was able to immediately "fit in" and get motivated. You work at your own pace, and before long it was easy to see positive results. That first day was in April 2011, and since then my wife and two other daughters have also started at Quest. I am nearing the 1st Dan Black Belt level, and at the age of 52, I am in better shape, and feel better than I did at 40! Thanks Mr. Rowe, and all the other instructors at Quest for the huge positive influence you have had on me and my family!

I can’t say enough great things about Quest and their classes for kids. The instructors meet each child where they are at physically, socially and behaviorally. My son has only been attending for a little more than six months, but in that time his confidence and social skills have soared. He is a significantly happier and more enthusiastic child than he was before he started. This confidence, along with the training, has improved his physical performance, not just in his martial arts classes, but also in the other sports he participates in.
