It's a really nice place to go!! A bit expensive, but the facility is done up in a clean, cheery, bright way. It only has bouldering, though, so just you're aware. But the routes are hard and fun.

Really great bouldering gym. Thick mats and no ropes. They have an awesome coffee machine as well. People are really friendly and helpful there; both staff and fellow climbers. Great way to work out, especially if you find the regular gun boring. They also have a mini gym upstairs that is included for people who like to lift.

Amazing staff and facility, they change their climbing routes very often so there is always something new to try. It is the best place in the interior for indoor climbing too! The only way they can improve is to expand on their weight room or swallow up the business next to them to double their size

Looks like an amazing gym, can't wait for it to open so I can get in the fresh holds! Chris was very accommodating and rented me a couple crash pads and a pair of shoes so me and some friends could go out bouldering. Very reasonable pricing, overall awesome service and atmosphere. Stoked for this new addition to Kelowna!

I had been climbing for just over a year before I began climbing at Gneiss. The gym is always on the busier side and after climbing the sets we realized why! The sets and variety are great, the staff is friendly and the Gneiss Swag is even better. The event nights they hold are worth the drop in and there's always a fresh set to climb!

The staff are friendly and it looked like a good place for adults, but I wasn't crazy about how the kids climbing area was managed or designed. I could see many opportunities for kids to get hurt as untethered kids climbed above a busy walkway, where there were many opportunities for kids to fall on top of other kids. I had no problem with the kids climbing untethered, just that kids were allowed to walk underneath.

I love this place. Clean, modern, and the place doesn’t look like a medieval era dungeon. New routes are up every two weeks, and the hours are nice and long. The whole place is really geared towards serious climbers, but it’s a lot of fun if you just love to climb recreationally too. They have kids stuff, classes, competitions, teams, and enough variety in the walls to keep you interested, even if it is kinda small. 10/10 would recommend trying out.

Awesome facility with a large array of angles and a good selection of terrain and holds. The atmosphere and vibe is very welcoming and makes for a great experience! Decent sized weight room with a good selection of equipment. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

Good espresso and gear for purchase at front desk with a wide range of branded clothing in the back. Full weight room upstairs, AC is a bit weak in weight room but there is a fan provided. Unsure as to what dress code is as some people climb shirtless and don't keep shoes on in climbing area.

I am super pleased with my experience at Gneiss Climbing gym. As someone who was looking to get into rock climbing with little to no experience 6 months ago, I must say Gneiss made my learning process incredibly easy. For one, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The community of people there have been extremely welcoming. Not only was I receiving coaching from other members, but I made enough friends to go bouldering outdoors on a consistent basis within a couple months. Gneiss has new problems on a weekly basis that have an excellent range of difficulty and variance in climbing styles allowing you to become a better climber. Gneiss caters towards both beginners and very high-level climbers with their routes. It is incredibly obvious that the route setting aspect of customer service is very important to the owners. I think that this small business does a fantastic job of navigating the difficulty of managing a small operation whilst providing an excellent service. I have never heard anyone who is in Gneiss, complain about the facility. I think that speaks volumes of the management and the owners. If you are in Kelowna, looking to get strong and send some sweet problems look no further, Gneiss has you covered.
