So "Due to COVID" I cannot drop in, one time, or do a week long trial to try a gym i've never been too, BUT, if i PAY a $100 dollar sign-up fee, PLUS a $68 dollar monthly fee, I am MORE than welcome to come and spread my germs as much as I want for an entire month, no questions asked? "because we have to be careful?" Logic is absent here, but the money speaks clearly.

Ive been going to Global for over a year now and its been great! The front end staff are always helpful and say hi to everyone who walks in the door. The juice bar has lots of options and they always have some great options for healthy meals and protein snacks. Would highly recommend Global to any of my friends :)

Number 1 problem everyone says and openly speaks about, NO PARKING SPACE!!! Takes about 5 mins to find parking and another 5 to walk to the gym. Very little customer service and eveything else is like any other gym

Gyms are gyms, no matter the demographic, one can still see low bred testosterone gym rats and attention seeking females, no different than at Gold's gym in Burnaby, BC. Global Fitness is ok with me generally,,,,,,

I have just joined the gym and found that there are a lot of options. I like the fact that you can play squash here. The workout facility is quite big with a lot of options. The staff is very friendly and do a great job at the front.

It's a fine gym, Kelowna gym scene is not great in general so this is one of the better ones. However, their drop in fee is INSANE and their equipment is super outdated which is what really holds me back from joining as a member. I really wish they'd update their equipment!

Good gym, lots of equipment. Spin class is fun, a beautiful yoga area. They just got new spin bikes which are awesome! Lots of classes offered that are included in your membership. (Del, Christine and Katie) are awsome instructors. Overall a decent gym, general vibe is good all types there for sure.

As a long time member, I resigned. Decent facility, however in need of a major facelift. The staff are generally horrible and unprofessional and robotic, bordering on creepy! Customer service is lacking managerial direction. Some staff are caring but that’s rare. Unfortunate that many people feel this is the best facility in Kelowna.

All I can say is read the contract very well. I've had a few problems canceling my account, as I had to move to Vancouver 3 months in to my 1 year membership. Other than that it is a wonderful gym. I love all the options they have to choose from, and love how helpful and friendly the staff are. If I were to sign up with them again, I would defiantly do month to month rather than a year pass.

I've been working out at global for about 3 months now. This is not my first gym experience. I've found the staff to be friendly and the equipment is in very good shape with a huge facility. I'm one of the weekday pre 7 a.m attendees and it's pretty quiet then. Works well for me. There's a ton of equipment here, if someone is on what you were going to use there's for sure something else that will test the same muscles. Facility is kept clean, change area is a full sized locker room and I've never had trouble finding a locker. I've been here now for about 5 months.

Best gym in Kelowna. I've been working out at this gym for the last 5 years. They follow an excellent route cleaning schedule and being open until 10:30pm works great with my schedule. The gym has lots of space and fitness equipment on both floors. The machines are well maintained and always available to be used. All the staffing are awesome, Nick and Jordan are super friendly and knowledgeable behind the desk. 10/10

Retraining my muscle memory and learning the most beneficial body mechanics for the foundation of everything from picking up after my kids to doing home renovations and even weightlifting. Full compliment of professional personal trainers, RMT, Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologists. This is a great full service club. Hot tubs, Steam Rooms, Dry Sauna, Towel Service and more.

One time we all arrive at 5:30 only to find the front doors locked. No one was there. It was the least professional situation I have ever encountered. Now they have a very disrespectful front desk staff. It used to be pretty good but Alex is beyond the pale terrible at customer service. I forgot my boots and had to wear my clean indoor shoes from the cramped parking lot to the gym on a dry day. After I entered the gym she asked I change my shoes even though the shoes are clean and dry. Global Gym selectively enforces their rules. They let their favorite instagram customers do whatever they want such as slamming weights around for no reason. Regular people are treated poorly in my experience.

Globalfitness Kelowna is the best gym here in town by far. They have 2 huge floors of excellent & well maintained equipment & tons of free-weights. The best part about it is they have the best staff. My 9 yrs old son who is a competitive tennis player took a lesson. The reception told me $10 for court fee plus coach fee. After lesson,they charged $25 court fee saying policy changed. Most of others charge no court fee for lesson. I paid half price at the Mission tennis for the same or better lesson. He is even not allowed to use other Gym stuff since he is 9. This place is not recommended for tennis or private lesson Too expansive and bad management

Trainers and staff are all fantastic. Has great parking, although it can get a bit congested. Would love to give this gym a better rating, but the equipment is in dire need of an update. Or at the very least, a total overhaul. Belt driven machines are squeaky, some equipment just doesn't work as intended. Considering the amount of traffic this place gets, and all the money it must bring in, getting new equipment shouldn't be this big of an issue.

Gym is always very clean. I usually come at the busy hours of the day and there’s so much area and equipment that there is always room to workout and use whatever you want. Been to gyms all over Canada and nothing seems to quite compare after spending years here.

Recently switched to this gym after growing tired of the long lines and overcrowding at World Gym. It's a bit more expensive, but Global Fitness offers a student rate and has a vast assortment of machines and free-weights. During non-peak hours I able to access whatever machine I want without waiting, which is a top priority for me when working out.

If I could rate this club more than 5 stars I would. It's the best in Kelowna by far. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. I've also made a few friends, from going here, and continue meeting really nice people all the time while using the facility. The juice bar is awesome and prices are great also. Love this gym a lot!

This gym is great for size but it's embarassing how disrespectful it is that they won't invest in new equipment for there clients 90% of all there equipment is gotta be from 1975 era and just really doesn't even work. I mean it's still in one piece but they are so bunk it's a fu*king joke

I have been training for around the last 6 years and in the past 2 or so it has become my life. When I made the switch over I knew immediately that this was the perfect gym. The overall size and amount of activities available is fantastic. It is by far the best gym in the Okanagan whether you are a body builder or simply want to get in better shape. The staff is super friendly and professional. They make you feel like you are part of the family and belong at the gym no matter who you are. I highly recommend this gym and so far have had many friends change over and they have no plans of leaving anytime soon

everything is perfect except: -hours ideally would be later close (midnight) -update cable exercise machine.. creaky, and choppy pulley system and seems like from the 1980s, no way to get smooth movement through full range of motion -no curls in the squat rack rule could be in place ;) -get rid of unbalanced old equipment and replace with new

I had signed up for a 3 month membership before the pandemic hit. Once it hit and the gym closed down I had only used 1.5 months of my membership. Due to some injury and life happening I haven't been able to get back until recently. I had been emailing the GM and was asking questions about my membership as it had already been paid for she assured that i could continue to use my 1.5 month almost a year later. I am so grateful for the incredible service and clear communication. Not only that but I love the facility.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST GYM IN KELOWNA!! Besides being the biggest gym with the most class options in Kelowna, they also have tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts for member use. The team they have in place is nothing less than exceptional, always there to help and provide any information needed. They have dealt with everything that is Covid-19 with the highest standards possible, and were able to allow us to get back to "normal" with a smooth transition back into the gym. The change rooms are always cleaned and fully stocked with a sauna and hot tub to use while you're there!! I genuinely look forward to my daily workouts at this facility! Keep up the great work Darcia, Asia and the entire team at Global Gym!

Great staff. Sure the facility is huge and the new updates are impressive, but it's the quality people on staff that really make this gym stand out. From the front desk staff to the personal trainers and class instructors, Global Fitness is a great place to be. On those days where you are 50/50 on working out, the atmosphere and people at Global makes you want to go.
