Great place. Just the website really caused our family huge issues. Stated Sunday swimming was 7am to 7pm. Problem is; free swim is only 2-4. So when we got off the public transit bus and showed up at 12:15 with 4 of my kids well......not cool. I was told the pioneer gas station/tim Hortons had a couple tables to sit at while we waited. Great family rates. Polite staff telling me redundant information about the web site, but very polite. Very clean, smallish gym but cool layout. Loved the water slide. ILL BE BACK.

We've been taking our little one here to use the pools and take swimming classes. I really appreciate the COVID protocols as you aren't wearing masks when you're in the pool. The pools are really well maintained and the instructors are competent. The change rooms are also kept fairly clean and are good for family use.

Swimming lessons during covid. Class size was cut in half and there were very few people in the change rooms. Lots of safety in place and we felt very comfortable with our 3 year old, I was happy I made the choice to sign us up!

I cannot believe that such a wonderful community pool resource is run by the life guards.......LOUD music all the time - and if you ask it to be turned down they ignore you or are rude to you ...I have been told it is a very boring job so they need to have loud music. I feel it is unsafe when you cannot communicate with the children swimming with you due to such loud music. I have left letters and talked to the management - no one seems to care. Most people who use this facility are seniors or parents with young children ......the management just does not get it........we all love music but not what those oblivious life guards play- loud bass thumping drums......it makes no sense.....why not play music that appeals to your audience???? This is clearly a facility at least the pool area which does not care to interact with the swimmers........rather than stand staring blanking into the distance why are they not offering equipment and tips to people using the pool? We have experience with many pools and this is the worst when it comes to relating to the sport and family activity of swimming.

Supposed to be a family gym but always too packed to do anything there, full of seniors and students. So I understand you are not suppose to be in that small area where the slide is, I waited until my youngest child had come down the slide and it being his first time I wanted to make sure he could swim past all the motion if the water at the bottom , haven't even grabbed my son yet when some teenager who was a lifeguard had approached me and rudely told me off for waiting there for my son, had said if he can't swim than he can't use the slide, my son can swim but being a new swimmer at the bottom of the slide I wanted to make sure he was okay. I had told the lifeguard I was not in the way and that if it was a problem he could wait in the water, he had replied with if he starts going under I will jump in. Well I am sorry but I am not going to risk his first time going down the slide with this answer. He had then continued to do his round about the pools telling all the lifeguards something about me and my kids and the guards would not stop staring and making me and my kids uncomfortable, my boy had overheard this kid telling the other guards he was going to have us kicked out. Than proceeded onto the next guard with his story as my son was still watching all of their actions towards us, my youngest boy because of this did not want to go down the slide again because of the way this lifeguard spoke of him and handled the situation. Whether I was in the wrong or not the way he handled this situation was absolutely wrong !!

Decent gym, though a little exposed to any through traffic.Good variety of equipment, locker rooms are alright, sauna in the men/women's change rooms and the separate family change room are nice touches. The therapy pool is PERFECT for little kids who don't appreciate cold water, and the water slide is a ton of fun for older kids who can swim (i.e. 8+). Membership is reasonable, and the child programming & minding are great.

Ninja Kids Judo with Paul was awesome! My kids count down the days until their next Judo class. The building was clean, lots of available hand sanitizer. Not busy when we went in the evening.

Attended a College Graduation ceremony, held by the College. Very well organized and the folks they had in place to assist were excellent. Had Golf carts ferrying people in and out and the Security people were knowledgeable and courteous. Overall, a lovely day and one to remember, for sure!

I had called multiple times at 5:30-6PM seeing if I could gather info about basketball times. I didn't get any responses. Later, I came in to ask to see if there were any opportunities for basketball. They only had badminton and volleyball. It seems relatively easy to prepare the gyms for basketball. You just have to take down the volleyball and badminton nets... idek anymore.

Was okay to work out in and the swim was good.. unfortunately I didn't find the front end staff friendly when I asked a question for help on the machines..and the people at the end of the day that come in to check if you're still there aren't very friendly either with the way that they ask you to " remember that we're closing" Overall the swim is about the only thing I enjoyed for the $15 I paid for a day pass

Friendly people, OK staff, so so clean gym. Unfortunately, if you are under 18 the elderly will cause a ruckus. therefor not permitting youth under 18 the right to work out in the gym. Please fix this. I had to cancel my membership and start somewhere else. Do not recommend the day camps for kids. I try the dance lessons there and the instructor was on there phone the entire time we were suppose to be learning a dance. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

+ Very clean Aesthetically pleasing Lots of cardio equipment - Actual workout space is small and poorly designed. The entire workout space is located within a small walking track. The cardio equipment and weight machines are located inside the walking track, whilst the free weight sections are located outside of it. This makes for an incredibly cramped free weight section. Considering the size of the building and all the effort put into to the architecture design, it seems silly that something like this would be overlooked. Since every Fleming student gets a "free" membership, the gym can get very crowded at times, especially in the lousy free weight sections.

My family and I took a tour there to see if we wanted memberships which we decided not to get. They do offer a free 1 week trial to see if it works for you so I would recommendtrying that if your unsure. The workout equipment was right out in the open so it felt uncomfortable to me. However, there were lots of people and elders working out and doing activities and everyone looked content. It just wasn't the right fit for me and my family.

This gym might be a in comparatively small city but their facilities are still excellent. Plus if you’re attending Fleming College just a short walk away you can take advantage of their sports facilities as well. I played badminton here for nearly three (3) years and it was a pretty fun way to get a good workout and a fine way to wrap up the day. Plus the four baseball diamonds make for excellent outdoor training areas, just try and not get in the way of the groundskeepers if possible.

Pool, multiple gyms (courts), a fitness centre and a studio. Great spot and they offer family memberships. There is a therapy and larger pool with some great add-ons (a water slide and splash features). The large pool is smaller than an official Olympic size. The courts are excellent and offer badminton and volleyball sometimes, but you are also at the mercy of the Fleming Knights athletic schedule. The gym is pretty good. Lots of cardio and enough free weights to get the job done. The studio is large and offered fitness classes. There are also a fee rooms off the main hall that are used for martial arts and birthday parties. The staff are incredibly friendly and always very helpful. (NOTE-- there are no squash/racquetball courts)

Great indoor recreational facility in the west end conveniently located on Brealey south of Lansdowne. Burn calories, have fun, go to camp or learn stuff.. it's all here. Organize parties or events if you need to. Well staffed and maintained. They have a large pool for member & public swims and a decent sized therapy pool as well. Swim lessons for all ages are available. Gym with a variety of equipment and an indoor track too. Plenty of programs offered, so check the Peterborough recreational and living well guide which gets published every so often. Free parking and a local transit bus connection from the facility is available. Fully accessible and washroom facilities are available.

This is a great facility. Well maintained with plenty of equipment and a walking track. Tv's to watch while doing cardio. Free weights and machines. Racquet courts, gyms, fitness classes and a pool. Always people there but never too busy. Prices are very reasonable for a family membership. Discounts for Fleming Alumni or other groups. Our whole family enjoys it here.

Decent enough facility. Some of the desk staff could use a customer service course over at Fleming. One particular older lady was condescending and rude when I asked if I could leave my valuables at the front desk. If I can't do that then fine but I don't need to be treated like a child for asking. The training staff is a redeeming quality.

For the health conscious this is the place to enroll. They have everything from the gymnasium to the swimming pool. For those who need their pressure checked - it's free onsite. Once you become a member you are entitled to all the facilities.They have a lot of programmes too which you can join for free. Equipment used is very good and in good numbers.The changing rooms are very nicely done and clean - you can use one of the many lockers available. There is an ATM available on the premises and you can buy cold drinks or pop too.
