We had a fantastic time. The volunteers and organizing committee hosted a wonderful skating event. The food was great from both the canteen and the fish pond. I was grateful that there was a videographer on site and was able to purchase my daughter's solo skate. The arena was cold but the spirit was warm.

Great pool and sauna! Fun for the whole family. Gym has all the basic workout machines and equipment although is slightly small. All around a great arena and rec centre.

Watched the Lindsay Jr. A Muskie's hockey game. My only complaint is the the cuty needs to invest a couple of bucks in a new sound system. I did understand a word that the announcer was saying and the music sounded AWFUL!!! Very nice facility thou.

I did not have the opportunity to recreate here, however this was a nice location to watch my sister-in-law receive her college diploma. Congratulations to the Fish and Wildlife Technician class of 2019.

Grew up in that arena love the new upgrades but need separate pads for the figure skaters so the hockey surface isn't so chewed up with the pick ruts from the figure skates

I gave two stars because the staff are nice. But otherwise this place with regards to the swimming pools has been a consistent disappointment and waste of my gas and time. Almost everytime I've gone there has been something wrong or someone has fouled the pool. The women's change room is okay I guess but you feel like you shouldn't take your shoes off or you might catch something. As soon as you enter the family change room you hit a wall of stench (urine) very strong as if it has not been cleaned for long time. The tiling is not well, the water does not drain in the change rooms. Coming to this facility makes me cringe. I tried again after there renovations and nothing has changed. Sadly driving 45-1hr is better then coming here. It costs more then 5 other pool facilities I've been to .They even charge for infants which is free anywhere else I've been. Overall very dirty every time I have seen it.

We brought our 2 month old baby for her first swim. She liked the warm pool a lot and the family change room was great for us to get her changed. Good time! The people on the phone are not very helpful about inquiries, they seem too busy to be bothered, which dropped the rating from a 5 star experience to a 4.

I found the fitness centre staff quite rude and haughty. One Ethan Kelly came off extremely agressive in the gym and then had the absolute gall to talk about piss poor attitudes. Not appropriate.

I first started going here when I was a student 10 years ago. The weight room is a little small but if you go in off hours it’s perfect. Free eights, machines, cardio. The swimming pool is about half the length of an Olympic pool I think but the smaller family pool is nice and warm. They also have 2 ice rinks with free skates and you can watch hockey games too.

Changerooms are SMALL and crowded. Always a wait for change stalls. Definately needs an upgrade. Will travel to Durham just for ease of access. The instructors for swimming are amazing so its too bad the facility is in major need of an overhaul.

Great rink. Went skating while in town. Nice that families can afford to take their kids for a skate, since they ask for donations only - no set fee for public skating. Friendly staff.

Rude staff, very disorganized regarding COVID rules and their methods of facilitating during the pandemic. The staff fails to inform new members of their new rules such as rotating machine use, mandatory shoe change before access to weight room, rules regarding when to arrive & leave (website says one thing, staff members say another), and overall snooty attitude towards facility members excluding the senior population. I have also witnessed staff being hostile towards a poor, confused international student who was also caught off guard by the poorly communicated facility rules. He was trying to communicate with the staff members and understand the situation before him and the staff members were rolling his eyes at him, giving him dirty looks, using a rude, unprofessional tone and straight up ignoring him while he was trying to ask questions and gather information. As a younger student i have also felt very unwelcomed by all the mid aged - elderly women working within the fitness facility. Very disappointed with my overall experience at this location, I will be warning my fellow students & peers about the environment and professionalism this gym and their staff have to offer.

Wheelchair accessible parking is good. It's the people that park in unauthorized parking spots that block in accessible vehicles that make the visit end poorly.

Nice community complex - Two ice pads and a 6-lane, 25m pool. Very well-priced fitness memberships - Gives members access to the weight room, cardio gym, and classes. One-on-one coaching also available. Family-friendly, too!

Pool- family change room is a joke, 2 change tables with no hooks to hang anything, the floor doesn't drain properly and has tripping hazards, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week and smells like it to repeatedly. The showers only have 1 that stay on and when trying to look after a baby it's hard to hit the button every 3 seconds and either have freezing cold water or boiling hot water. Past 8 times I've tried to go to the pool its been closed for sanitary reasons in the last 5 years(kids pooping in the pool) 2/3 times or the hot water not running. Is more expensive then most of the pools in the neighbouring cities. Prior to 5 years ago was a great pool, not sure what has changed but would be nice to get a decent pool in the area, would rather drive an extra 45 mins to go anywhere else.

We have visited the pool here on several occasions. The small pool is always warm and perfect for the kids. It would be nice if they had more changing space in the family change rooms.

It is a very good place for all types of recreational activities. They have squash courts, ice arenas, swimming pools, gym classes and modern exercise equipment. I have taken private fitness lessons. They have trained fitness instructors. They have group lessons as well as private lessons for fitness and swimming. The place is well maintained and is a clean facility.

One of the nicer common/waiting areas of any #arena I have visited in that they have a few nice comfy chairs - always appreciated. They have a #snackbar and a proshop. Arena 1 has reasonably good seating and it's one of the few arenas that doesn't have netting to obstruct one's view of the ice. Arena 2, on the other hand, has very little seating that is awkwardly placed. On the whole, not a bad arena located close to the very beautiful downtown Lindsay.

Rec centre needs to clamp down on people parking and leaving their cars in designated fire routes. Observed and timed several empty cars. Both cars were left abandoned for over 10 minutes.
