Lots of new equipment so I rarely have to wait for an opening, even in busy times. A responsive and friendly staff has taken care of my needs and concerns over the last 3 months (Thanks Natasha!). The coin operated snack machines and showers are convenient. I just wish they had a coffee machine of some kind. My experience has been very positive and I've managed to meet my current fitness goals in this environment with ease. The service-to-cost ratio offers very good value.

Je lui dis que c’est le problème du site ou de la carte magnétique, puis un certain moment il commence a me parlé en levant le ton sans aucun signe de respect et en me coupant la parole à chaque fois que je veux parler. Je trouve cela très dégradant, je me suis entrainé dans beaucoup de gym et je n’ai jamais vu un tel comportement de la part des gérants ou des travailleurs. Je veux avoir contact avec le responsable ou le propriétaire mais je n’ai pas les coordonnées, ca ne peux pas continuer comme ça. si le responsable ne prend pas les mesures nécessaire pour rectifier ce problème ‘grave’ je vais résilier mon abonnement et suivre la démarche auprès de l’office de la protection du consommateur.

The worst customer service I experience so far after immigrating to Canada. Econofitness will be fine with debiting your account with any amount instantly but when It comes to cancelling the subscriptions or request for a payments review they will ignore your and all your written or verbal requests. They won't acknowledge the receipt of any information from you. they will no manage your expectations in terms of the delay and if somehow you will find out the delays they won't respect their own written obligations. And do not make a mistake thinking if you can come to any gym or your "primary" gym they will be able to assist you. They will say they can't do anything and we'll redirect you to the website where is no phone to call and no way to communicate with the company and no answer. Very, very disappointing.

The short hours don't allow me to go to the gym before work...there are much less machines comparing to Buzzfit, and there is only one sanitizing station for the whole place...I like the gym, but my biggest issue is the opening hours. Voyons comment Econofitness s'en sort: Installations: Les installations sont OK; Faut pas que quelque chose tombe en panne mais c'est très acceptable pour le prix. Encadrement: inexistant. Je ne parle pas de coach là, ni de planification d'entrainement. Non non, juste le basic de chez basic: "Comment marche cette machine? Pouvez vous m'expliquer le circuit express?". Inutile de demander conseil, c'est pas inclus dans le forfait et de toute façon, le staff est composé d'étudiants (au secondaire pour certains). Pas de grosses attentes au départ mais y a tout de même des limites. Abonnement: quand vous avez de la place pour réserver (mais pas plus de 72h à l'avance hein, ça serait trop pratique de s'organiser en temps de covid!), quand ils ne ferment pas une succursale, quand vous faites le pari de payer un an sans aucun moyen de contrôle, qu'ils ne renouvellent pas automatiquement en douce votre abonnement, ça peut valoir la peine mais faut être ben ben ben vigilant.... Vous pouvez aller à l'autre! On regroupe 2 gyms en un (le plus petit est celui qui reste ouvert) et faut réserver cause covid: pratique et terriblement efficace. Pas d'option d'annulation (et non, le covid a tellement fait perdre d'argent à Econofitness - qui tout du long du covid n'a jamais cessé de charger le montant alors qu'aucun service donné) Fin Septembre 2021: fin de mon contrat. Mais Ecofitness a décidé de m'autorenouveler comme ça, sans permission ni accord de ma part! Je viens de m'en rendre compte et visiblement, ils ne sont pas pressés de répondre aux courriels, pas vraiment quelqu'un au téléphone, et encore moins prets à rembourser. Very friendly staff, super clean place, the equipment all works perfectly and feels like new, the 30 minute circuit is awesome if you're just not feeling a full on workout that day and want a bit of everything just to get that once-over. The other clients all seem very respectful too, and keep to themselves, which is nice considering how in other gyms there's usually a lot of "bro" types who will be loud, obnoxious, and needlessly hit on women. Also it seems that even if someone were to act like that, the staff would react swiftly to rectify it.

I like it the employees are nice, its got all the machines, weights. The price is good. Its busy but manageable. If you get the middle plan or higher you can tan free (9min max. standup) and use the hydro bed. The hydro bed is amazing, its not as good as a professional massage but comes close. I was interested in their most expensive plan because it said i could bring 10 people!-But thats just an unscrupulous sales tactic to get people in the door(-1star). You can give any one of ten people your card and they can use it but you cant use it together! Only one person at anytime can use it. So if you want to train together you both have to get memberships. They have a few plans 1 @ $12/month tax in. 1 @ $22 a month and one at a bit more than the last. Depending on the plan they give you a free t shirt and gym bag.

I've been coming to this gym for the past 3 years and my overall experience has only improved with time. The staff is friendly and present, the machines have all been upgraded recently which has been a welcomed improvement. What makes this gym stand out from the others of it's franchise is it's location and MASSIVE windows, making it bright and welcoming, rather than in a dark and gloomy mall basement. I just wish the hygiene protocols were enforced a little more strongly.

I went to this gym for about 2 years, when I started it was great. Things were easy to access staff was polite. Then they started to expand the place went downhill, they replaced the squat rack HUGE mistake the new one sucks. The members there are disrespectful and steal the equipment you're using, when you explain to the staff what is going on they don't seem to care. A bunch of teenagers go there now too, you have to pay extra for showers, if you are looking for a gym to do silly quick workouts go here. This is NOT a place for a bodybuilder or serious gym goer. Gym is cheap and clean.

Good gym for the price. A couple of things that could improve the gym greatly in my opinion: Leave rags with spray bottles with sanitizer around to clean benches and equipment. Too often have I gone home with a shirt that smells like someone else's BO. Pretty disgusting. Not enough squat racks or benches for barbell bench press. Too often have I had to wait for someone to finish a 40 minute squat routine. Otherwise I have no complaints. *EDIT* I appreciate the staff at Econofitness acknowledging my review, especially so quickly. I would also like to address one of the negative reviews stating that "having a needle depository in the bathroom shows that Econo encourages drug use". That statement is ridiculous. The needle depository is there because management recognizes the reality that some people do steroids. The depository protects everyone, especially the staff. Imagine you were changing a garbage and you got pricked with an HIV or Hepatitis infected needle? I totally support their decision to have the needle depository. They even have a sign saying they will ban anyone who is caught using drugs on the premise.

My favorite place to go every day. Staff is friendly and up keep the health regulations. I would give five stars but the machine maintenance there is not great. Couple years ago leg machine metal cable snapped and could've gotten badly hurt - I was well within the limits of the machine only to be asserted with "wow that must've been heavy"... Implying it was my fault. ???? Two years later I see the same machine doing the same thing to other people. If you're a regular you know exactly the machine I'm talking about. Anyway, would still recommend, the price is great.

For $10 a month this is a great gym. Very clean, have a wide range of equipment and is never too busy. My only problem is the lack of just a free open space to do stretches, lunges and other excersises that just require space. The have a beautiful studio room that is reserved for "virtual training" basically a trainer on television teaching you zumba or kickboxing... no one uses it. When I tried to use that studio room to do some stretches the gemeral manager basically told me to get out in a very rude manner. I explained to her that the gym was busy as it was 530 pm and there was no room for me to perform my exercises and that I would only use a small corner of the room and that I have been using the room for the last 3 weeks with no problems. She responded and I quote "Well this is a manager talking to you so you have to do what I say. You signed a contract and you are breaking the rules, if you do not leave you will be breaking your contract and you can go to another gym". I understand your a manager but you can still talk to your members with respect and in a polite manner.
