Good for hostel service. They have family suite with private bathroom. The room is small but good for short trip. The kitchen is big and has fully equipment. You can buy laundry soap from the front desk to wash clothes in first floor.

I want to send this appreciation to the whole HI hostels group and team. My spouse and I booked a place at HI Maligne Canyon hostel and it was a wilderness hostel and due to Covid they did not give the bedding there. Unfortunately, I missed this info and we did not take any sleeping bags either (my fault), but we went to HI Jasper, explained the situation and they lent us the bedding with no questions. It saved our night!!! Thanks you sooooo much!!! Ohhh and the place is amazing!!! Totally recommend!! Super friendly and helpful staff!!

Creche Wifi Security Beds Rooms Kitchen Fridge Bear spray Staff Construction The Jasper Hostel is a brand new facility and it's proximity to Jasper is fairly close being about a 5 minute walk away. At the time of writing it is still currently under construction and the elevator/lift not operational. This didn't impact me but could be a cause for concern for the ones who are unable to climb up the stairs. Bedroom facilities were fine. I was in a 4 person dorm that had locker storage. There was a conjoining 4 person dorm right beside us separated by a security enabled door and we shared a toilet, shower and two sinks. There was a lot of ambient light and the tight spaces invited conversation between guests. This one of the first hostels I've stayed at in Canada and internationally where it felt like a creche at times. Children often screaming, talking loudly in the common areas or in the kitchen. It didn't bother me but if you're looking for some peace and quiet you might need to look elsewhere as quiet spaces were hard to come by! There's a huge fridge, absolutely massive and the kitchen facilities, which was able to handle a lot of people even at rush hour times. Staff were great, upon checking out there wasn't too many issues. I would consider staying here again.
