A Gatineau

Joined recently, a few disclaimers: None of the pictures of this gym are correct, I would recommend going to the gym first to see what it actually is. I went to the gym this morning and it was closed 30mins after it was supposed to be open. I hope all is okay with the opening staff, but it's unacceptable in my opinion. That's enough to take the bulk of my review down to two stars. Some staff are welcoming.

DO NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP HERE! when lockdowns go into effect, they will continue to charge you a membership fee, even though the gym is closed. they will not refund these charges, and charge you even more to cancel the membership so that you don't incur more charges for something you can't even use. gyms like goodlife, and movati will freeze membership payments during lockdowns, and refund you if there are any erroneous charges. do not support these people, they do not care about their customers.

Can't do squats without shoes. Of all gyms, the cheapest one like this one are always the worse. Also, still not 24/7 like advertised. If it wasn't walking distance, I wouldn't train here.

(Translated) Big lack of opening hours, in the last month only I had to wait 6-7 in the morning for someone to arrive (20-30 minutes late), even though I had to leave a few times because at 6 : 30 no one had arrived yet. It also happened twice this week when it snowed, if I and several other people who were also waiting were able to be there at 6 am I don't see why the staff could not. C'est arrivé également 2 fois cette semaine lorsqu'il a neigé, si moi et plusieurs autres personne qui attendaient également ont est capable d'être la a 6h quand même jvois pas pourquoi le staff pourrais pas. ( Le seul temps que je peux m'entraîner c'est a 6h avant de travailler donc c'est vraiment frustrant)

Étant donné qu'il vient d'ouvrir il y a 2 semaines, il est beaucoup trop occupé pour la distanciation sociale. Je vois encore 5 à 6 personnes s'inscrire à chaque fois que j'y suis. Si vous venez de l'Ontario, votre porte-clés ne fonctionnera même pas, mais ils vous permettent toujours de vous inscrire... J'aurais aimé ne pas être enfermé pendant une année complète avant de m'en rendre compte.

Ne perdez pas votre temps et votre argent à ce gym. Le gym est toujours plein et tu dois attendre pour utiliser l’équipement durant l’heure de pointe. Il n’y a pas de station de deadlift ou de squat racks. Même si le gym est fermé à cause du confinement, ils continuent de prendre les prélèvements et il y a des frais associés à l’annulation de l’abonnement.

The staff is rude and uninformed. The equipment is sub-par compared to other gyms. Plus the space is too small to accomodate guests. You are literally getting bumped in to during peak hours.

And when you are black you are required to take your towel out of your gym bag when you enter the gym. Too bad Éconofitness tolerates this type of discrimination in its branches in Quebec. Experience lived on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 6:45 p.m. at the Galleries de Hull. I left the Nautilus for Econofitness for the quality / price ratio. However, I have never had this type of experience at the Nautilus. (Original) Gérante arrogante et n'a aucune notion du service à la clientèle. Pratique discriminatoire dans ce gym. Quand vous etes blanc pas besoin de montrer votre serviette. Et quand vous êtes noir on vous exige de sortir votre serviette de votre sac de sport à l'entrée du gym. Dommage qu'Éconofitness tolère ce type de discrimination dans ses succursales au Québec. Expérience vécue le mardi 7 décembre 2021 à 18h45 aux Galleries de Hull. J 'ai quitté le Nautilus pour Econofitness pour le rapport qualité/prix. Par contre, je n' ai jamais vécu ce type d'expérience au Nautilus.

I never complain like this, but this is UNACCEPTABLE. Horrible experience with creepy staff. Happened at BOTH the Galeries location and Gatineau location. There is a creepy older member of staff the started WASHING my machine WHILE I WAS USING IT!! She actually made me STOP MY WORKOUT for her to remove a bit of dust from under the machine!!! She did this to another gym member the very next day!! I had to leave after seeing her do it because I was about to flip my s**t. I cannot workout with the thought of some lady creeping behind me trying to wash my machine and stare at me while she does it. I CANT workout like this!

Customer reps not bilingual or refuse to speak to me in English and Benjamin a rep there said he didn't like my tone when asked what I said all he said was I won't right you up this time. I will not be intimidated by staff nor will I be racial profiled cause I called him bro he was very insulted....

I have been an econofitness member for 2years and this outlet has the worse professional service you can immagine of, the service is beyond repairs. The equipments and display is a 5star for me but the staff are horribly unprofessional and rude minus star. I had an appointment with the manager of this outlet and this young lady is just extremely rude person and act like a kid with a bad tandrum, can't answer questions properly or give clear reason to a situation or issue. Pick another outlet or avoid contact with the staff as much as possible.
