Prices are good with payment options. Cheap day passes that allows access to classes, gym, track, and swimming. Very clean and staff is friendly. Offers services for the community. Love it there!

Went here recently to get a tour of the facility before purchasing a membership. The staff were extremely friendly and showed me around the entire facility. They were very knowledgable and gave me a lot of information about the facility as well as the programs offered there. They even gave me a couple free trial coupons. Would recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a cheap gym membership and to avoid strict contracts like goodlife.

Cannot drive there anymore after re-installation of speed bumps where my car cannot drive over them without hitting the bottom. Friendly staff Water fountain by the gymnasium doesn’t work as good as it used to. It stops mid way and taste like metal sometimes. Equipment is good. Great facility. I would like to use the BTS room more often but there is always a class going on.

I am always amazed by this building. They have done such an amazing job with it and the view is stellar. I have been through this building a few times. I have gone to a number of birthday parties. I have brought my children for swimming. And my entire family has truly enjoyed the place. I even won a prize at the cafe downstairs during a Christmas gathering. Oh, and there is a lot of parking.

This company breached our contract, horrible service. The staff make you feel uncomfortable at the front desk asking you for I'd everytine you come, feels like customs agents.bad hours and can never get a machine. I definitely recommend any other gym than this one. They break there own contract then you have to fight with them for the money they owe you, even when it's written on paper in front of there eyes

Went here for a year. If you're new to using the gym, or just need a place for a quick work out, it's great. The staff are awesome, it's always clean and there's 2 water fountains in the workout room. 2 Squat racks 1 flat chest bench 5 benchs 3 racks of various size dumbbells ranging from 5lbs-100lbs (some popular weights are doubled) Mirrors all around to see what you're doing Overall has everything you could want.

YMCA has special discounts and helps you with different payment options . It has a hug gym, huge pool and walking track or it could be used for running as well. The staff are trained to help u lose weigh or tone muscle.

Very disappointed in this YMCA. I got a pass for two weeks and just my experience there does not make me want to come back. I called in a couple of times to find out the schedule and they told me one thing only to find out it was something different when I got there. This has happen more than once. I have been to multiple YMCA's and this one is not held to the same standard.

Tried to come back after a hiatus during the pandemic and have never encountered such rude and unprofessional employees at any gym I've ever been to. Used to be a great place to swim, workout, etc.. now all it provides is hostility at the front counter. 4 days into my membership I still haven't spent a day here because of the front counter staff being so blatantly hostile and unprofessional. You're better off working out at home and saving the money than signing up here. I want a gym for fitness and health. Not to have to fight with childish staff who don't know or want to do their job. Don't go to this place if you have self respect, it's apparently not welcome here.

After I went there today, I decided to never visit this place again... the pool is very basic. Prices were outrageous. It used to be 4 dollars for a day pass and out of nowhere they change the price to $10.35?!?! I'm sorry, I don't care how nice your facility is, that's too much for me. There was no heads up on your website about the increase in price and I had also been there a few days before the price change and I paid my four dollars and the ladies at the front desk never warned me that they were changing the price. It's not fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

I find the staff answering the phones are really not all that informed. I know times are hard right now, but they need to be consistent with the information they are providing. I tried to find out if my teen needs to take ID with him to the gym, and they said "sometimes we ask for it", they could not tell me for sure if I needed to send ID, or what kind of ID was sufficient. One of my son's friends said they couldn't get in there without a passport, this seems ridiculous for a 14 year old to be carrying around a passport to get into the Y to play basketball.

AVOID THIS GYM UNTIL THEY FIRE THE RUDE GUY ON THE FRONT DESK. Pricing depends on the mood of whoever is working. Last time they quoted more than GoodLife. Great gym if they could just hire some competent front desk staff. The Front desk staff are rude, uninformed, and will not let you speak to a manager after they call you down to the dirt. Better off paying the extra for GoodLife until the Y gets rid of the judgmental jerk on the front counter. Edit: they will do nothing about this person and now refuse to cancel or refund the membership citing policy. Yet they have no policy on employees being threatening and unprofessional. Going to have to contact our bank to stop payments because the y is refusing to close our membership. Edit 2: Rude guy on front counter still there. Still won't let people talk. Still not safe here. Avoid at all costs. Especially if you have special needs children.

The services provided and for a reasonable cost make the YMCA a great family spot or for anyone looking for fitness on a budget. They offer countless programs for all ages and fitness levels. The pool is great for any age of children for lessons or for anyone looking to partake in aqua fit or go for a swim. Although the lanes arent as big as some other pools, they are sufficient. The whirlpool (hot tub) can fit 15 to 20 people comfortably. The pool is great for young children, the have life jackets and floaty pads that kids can sit in and enjoy. Their is plenty of different excercise equipment and loads of cardio machines which have a picturesque view of St John's. You can literally run on a treadmill and see Signal Hill. Probably the best feature for a young family is the child minding services. Included in the family bundle (150 for myself, wife and infant child) is 90 minutes daily of child care. Drop off your child and they will entertain them and play with them so you can get that workout in or go for a swim, or even enjoy a short break and read a book while enjoying a coffee or snack from the inhouse cafe. It's a great service.
