I first got my skates sharpened at APS nearly 8 months ago and haven't gone anywhere since. After playing hockey for most of my life, I can safely say this is the first time I felt truly comfortable in my own skates! Highly recommend!!

I dropped my skates off on Wednesday for profiling and sharpening, I was told they would be done by Thursday, no issue for me I only needed them on Friday (Good Friday). I never called to get them on Thursday as I couldn't get there and forgot they wouldn't be open on Friday. Friday afternoon rolls around and it clicks that I don't have my skates. Called them with little hope, phone rings a few times then, answers. I couldn't believe it. I was told to come by and get them. I tried give some sort of tip but he wouldn't accept it, so this will have to do. They have a customer and recommendation for life.

My go to place for skate sharpening. I had the profiling done and for the first three or four skates after, I was ready to write off APS. However, they did urge me to stick with it and relearn my stance/stride with the new profiling. I persevered and am glad I did. I am no great skater, but the repositioning does make skating a lot more comfortable. NOTE: Don't get a profiling done right in the middle of or just before a big event as it will take a few skates to get your muscle memory tuned to the new positioning of the blade profile. I went with the Maximum Edge blade and it eliminated discomfort in the knees and hips that I used to experience through four or five skates a week.

I have been working with Jennifer Roberts, the Registered Dietitian at APS, and I could not recommend her more. She goes above and beyond for her clients and I have learned so much from her. She has helped me change my mindset and develop healthy habits. She worked with me to come up with a plan that works for me and I couldn't be happier. The InBody body composition scan is an added bonus because you can see real progress in real time that goes beyond the scale. My son was at a hockey camp at twin rinks at the end of August and needed his skates sharpened. These guys were there so I decided to give them a try. Biggest mistake I have made when it comes to my sons skates. They convinced me to change the way my sons skates were done as they said that it will help his skating and his balance. The way they done it done neither. I went back again during the week to see if they could fix it but they couldn't do what I wanted with the skates. My son hated them from the start and still hated them even after the second try at them. He hated his week at camp because he hated the sharpening on his skates as he couldn't get comfortable with what they had done. Sorry but I will not be back as I could not get what I wanted with the skate sharpening. I called the number that they had provided for me to respond but there was no answer. I tried and reached out but will not try again.

I wouldn't get my skates sharpened anywhere else. They do an awesome job and their profiling has improved my son's skating significantly.

I’ve had my skates done at many spots in the city many good sharpenings others not as good, but I must say Atlantic Pro Sports consistently does a good job. I would recommend stopping in having a chat and consultation about what skate sharpening fits your style of play the best. Before I actually had my skates done we discussed typically how I liked my skates, my style of play, the type of sharpening that I usually get, and then through discussing the options Atlantic Pro sports could give me. I e decided on a cut that was most beneficial to me, and I have stuck with it ever since. 5 stars in my opinion.
