Amazing place! I signed up for John's 3 week 'Tread and Shred' program and lost 10.4 lbs... it took me a year of yo-yoing to lose that much weight before Tread and Shred. Staff are amazing, and the atmosphere is fun and energetic. I highly recommend trying it out!

Even though I mailed in all the required paper work after my car accident to state that I was unable to return, this gym thought it would be better to sue me over the 4 months I had left in my contract rather than letting me cancel. Horrible place and outrageously priced for the sweaty dirty equipment you are using

Was dragged in by my wife who wanted to take part in the 21 day Tread and Shred. I wasn't expecting much but to my surprise, I've gotten results from this program. The staff who trained our group pushed you without being belligerent. The eye opener for me was the change in eating habits. Depending how far off the rails your eating habits are, the dietary changes here are not easy but they are workable. The workout isn't easy either for that matter. I'd say we lost half the participants in our group from the start to the finish. You need to put in the work. If you are aren't willing to make the changes - this isn't the plan for you.

Did the 21 Day Tread & Shred Challenge. I wasn't in it to lose weight but rather to tone and feel better in my jeans. Goal accomplished thanks to John Savidis' Lean & Fit and their amazing team always pushing me to my limits and then past those limits. I lost weight and gain muscle mass, but above those two things, I feel a lot better about myself. I'd highly suggest this gym to anyone. My experience here has always been amazing. The staff are so friendly and at times hard asses but it gives me the motivation I need to keep pushing myself that much further. After completing the challenge I decided to join. It really is a great place to be. Can't wait to see more results!

Awesome team, great workouts and if you want to look and feel better this is the place to go! Its like working out with a personal trainer every workout. This is not the place for an EASY work out or to just HANG out. You will be worked hard but you will feel awesome afterwards. I cancelled my membership after more than 1 year of attending Lean and Fit. My work schedule did not allow me to attend classes anymore as I started before they opened and arrived home after the gym was closed. 10 months later I received a call from a collection agency claiming that I owed them more than 8 month's fees. I used personal training sessions at the gym way past my cancellation and no one approached me to let me know I owed them money. Not a word. No letter, No phone call. I saw the owner at least once a week. I talked to all their employees. Nothing. I have heard similar stories from other members. They keep charging you and then bully you into paying them even though you cancelled and never used their services in the months they claim you owe them money. Save yourself from dishonest people and go to another gym. If you are cancelling, Do it in an email so that you have proof. Don't give them free money. Get yourself a lawyer.

Before joining the 21 Day Challenge I was four and a half months post-partum and feeling awful. I had managed to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight within 12 days of delivering my son, but I still didn’t feel “good” about myself. I knew that I had to make a change and I needed a push. Then my weight started creeping up and before I knew it, I had gained 11 pounds again. I thought about joining Weight Watchers (like so many times before) and going to the gym (I’ve been a member at GoodLife since the beginning of time), but for some reason I just couldn’t find the motivation to get started. Then I saw it on CHCH. John Savidis was doing a 21 Day Challenge for just $1 – the perfect price for a Mama on maternity leave like myself! So I signed up. And like every good daughter, I signed my mom up with me. I knew the program would work – it worked last January when I tried it at the old location. I did a 6 week 20 class WagJag – 10 lean and fit and 10 kickboxing classes. WOW! What a transformation – and I wasn’t even following the meal plan. I mean, I was eating super healthy, but I wasn’t following the Savidis meal plan like I am this time around. Anyways, in 6 weeks I was down 23 pounds, several inches, and I was feeling great. I even purchased a 30 class kickboxing pass because I didn’t want the torture to end! Well, low and behold, two days after finishing the program and feeling great…I found out I was pregnant! No more Savidis for this girl for a while! Thirteen and a half months and a gorgeous baby boy later, I needed to make a change. It was time to sacrifice what I loved for who I love! I needed to be there for my kids and my husband. I needed to get healthy so that my kids would understand the importance of fitness and nutrition. I struggled with my weight my entire life and I wasn’t about to let that happen for my kids. So here I am, twenty-one days into my health and fitness journey – a journey that will continue long past the doors of the facility. My mentality has completely changed. Food is fuel for the body and nothing more. For years I put food on a pedestal. Why? I have learned so much through this program in such a short time that I will carry with me for years to come. I used to say, “I’m a working mom; I don’t have time to work out!” but John taught me that’s bullcrap! He said anyone can find thirty minutes to get their heart rate up and give themselves an intense workout and he was right. This program offers the most intense workouts I have ever witnessed! There is not one person – young or old, big or small, fit or unfit – who is not dripping with sweat and gasping for air after a thirty minute class. Tell me where else you could find that! I am so thankful to John and Team Savidis for their time, effort, and dedication to the program and for offering this 21 Day Challenge so that someone like me could get started on a lifelong health and fitness journey. This program is truly the best of its kind. Anyone who wants to make a change, or even challenge themselves, should give it a shot – they will not be disappointed!

I have been going to the Tread and Shred class for almost 3 weeks (3 times a week) and noticed results almost immediately. The class consists of interval training by alternating weights and cardio exercises for 30 minutes. Along with a very detailed meal plan and diet consults, I have been able to lose over 8 lbs in this time and feel much better and more accomplished after each class!

The boot camp classes are agressive and effective. If you want results, you have to work for them. Why will you do that? Because you CAN! If you want something you have never had, you have got to work like you never have before. The Savidis team is great. They come correct your form during the class. They are helpful and friendly. 6 Weeks quick review (see below for more detail on my experience): Overall, loved the workouts and the motivational environment. Trainers were friendly and heightened the whole workout experience, exactly what I was looking for. My accountability coach, Eden, was fantastic at catering to my needs, offered 24/7 support and was sensitive to understanding life events outside the gym. Very impressed and already considering joining as a member! I signed up for the 6 week challenge after seeing it on Instagram. My scheduled tour and info session was informative and the space was clean, organized and unique to a boot camp/circuit training class style set-up. Living in the meadowlands I have always been curious about the gym and growing up as competitive athlete and a fitness enthusiast, I spontaneously signed up ! WORKOUT EXPECTATIONS: 6 days per week (attending 3 classes at L&F as you only have access to a certain number of classes during the challenge). The other 3 workouts are to be done on your own either at home or at anther gym facility. Alternative workouts are provided to you via a PDF for guidance and include both HIIT training and weight training. MY EXPERIENCE: Classes were fantastic! Trainers monitored for good technique and appropriately suggested weight adjustments to align with my goals. Circuit training/boot camp and HIIT style. If you have never tried boxing, this is the place to start! NUTRITION EXPECTATIONS: Follow the Metabolism Rebooting Plan. Eat every 3-5 hours, no added sugar (nope, not even maple syrup for all my Canadian real maple syrup lovers). No milk of any kind, no starchy carbohydrates, low fat food items. Expects recording, measuring and weighing of food! Don’t have a scale? Suggestion from the program was to purchase one. Unfortunately no more room to budge after the cost of the program. “Cheat days” allowed after 21 days in which program goers were told to basically go crazy and eat everything. This is when I pause for dramatic effect and let that sink in. MY EXPERIENCE: Not a sustainable eating plan for long term. Hi All, i signed up for the 21 days for $1..What a great experience it has been...The boot camps are fantastic and you really do your best to try and keep up because the instructors are there to push u, but push u to your comfort level...I've done 9 classes and i'm already seeing results and my meal plan has been strict for the 3 weeks and i've already lost 5lbs...my jeans don't feel tight anymore and i'm not feeling constantly bloated...The trick is to really eat small meals 5 to 6 times a day, 3 to 4 hours apart...doing this has been a life change for me and it makes a lot of sense....On the whole it's been fantastic....Thank you to all the John Savidis team....

I signed up for the 21 Days Summer Sizzle program for $5 and lost just over 11lbs in 3 weeks! The workouts are fun, the staff is fantastic and I have now signed up as a member and can't wait to continue to see the results! It has been a month now since I joined and I have lost an additional 13 lbs and I'm down 2 sizes! Love the changes in my body and the great energy I feel after the workout!

I signed up almost a year ago for one on one boxing because I wanted to train with the ONLY instructor they had there at the time. I paid $1200 plus up front for all of my sessions. After my first session my instructor called to tell me because of covid restrictions we had to pause our sessions . During this time the gym let go of my trainer. I called the gym and requested a refund for the prepaid lessons seeing as the only reason I choose this gym was for that trainer. When you’re doing one on one sessions it isn’t typically the place you’re going for, it’s the instructor. They advised when they reopen they could set me up with someone new I declined and inquired about a refund so I could now pay the instructor I wanted and was told it wasn’t happening. I had to email above the manager regarding my issue, and he advised me that once the summer came and the lockdowns were over he was certain the manager could sort something. I advised him of my concern as I had already spoken with the manager and haven’t been responded to since may 25th. The communication is absolutely awful and frankly given the current pandemic, the on and off restrictions and the lack of customer service skills refunding clients who pay that sum of money up front should at least be discussed. Waited to post a review because I honestly expected more from a reputable gym. Could not give any less stars

Buyer beware, I purchased a 30 class pack, and after lock down, they conveniently “can’t find” the purchase in their system. I’m out 22 classes, and they will not honour them, despite them previously appearing on my account, and not expiring until November 2021. It’s a shame the new owners are not loyal to their members. After being at this club for over 12 years, I will not be returning. They give the “John Savidis” name a very bad reputation which is unfortunate given the stellar reputation John and Mia had built up over the years. The workouts were great, unfortunately, how they treat their members over shadows the quality of the workouts.

Diet plans, detoxes, paleo diets, no carb diets, fitness apps...nothing ever worked for me. Or if it started to work I was miserable. Constantly feeling weak, super hungry and frustrated. Even worse I would just yoyo with my weight because it was never realistic to maintain that lifestyle. However while completing this 21 day challenge it was completely different. I was full of energy, felt full after my meals, and actually enjoyed what I was eating ! It was REALISTIC. Along with the meal plan I was getting in amazing workouts. Half hour of high intensity workouts had me sweating like crazy yet wanting to keep coming back for more. I was addicted to the results and loved the trainers who kept me motivated and who were always full of energy and encouragement. I will continue on with this! It's not a just a "diet"... Its a true lifestyle change and I cant wait to keep seeing healthy changes to my body. Love this program so much! Definitely changed my life. Would recommend this program any day !

I joined John Savidis' Lean & Fit for the 6 week fitness challenge. It was money well spent! I was looking for motivation and results that I wasn’t getting anywhere else. The program taught me about nutrition and laid out a map to be successful. It helped me get into a routine for working out and putting my health first. No matter what part of your fitness journey you're at, I highly recommend this gym! Every single person that works there from the trainers to the front desk staff are so awesome. Everyone is nice and helpful. Classes are great to motivate you and give you something to do if you're unsure! The instructors are all amazing! Hot punch is my favourite and Johnny is the best, he is like a gentle giant. :) big gym, lots of room and nice equipment. Super clean. Only 30 mins but a great workout and so much variety! Originally came on bring a friend day then did the week free. Instantly felt comfortable and like family with everyone. Highly recommend Savidis!

Be warned: these workouts are for people who want RESULTS, not to hang out and "look pretty". As a matter of fact, if you're truly there to not achieve goals, the atmosphere is as such that you will either get on board or leave! In the first week, I lost 7lbs! The classes are challenging and I love how the instructors push you hard without being obnoxious or mean. "Don't you dare give up on yourself". When I started 3 weeks ago, I couldn't do a burpee: now I'm getting there! The best part? John Savidis doesn't leave his business unattended, or sit in an ivory tower: he is on the floor at any given time, offering motivation and support. I started coming as a part of the 6 week challenge. I really didn't think I'd see the results I saw in this short period of time. I was able to lose 4% body fat, but also maintain all of my lean muscle mass. Eden, my accountability coach, was very kind and helpful. They really know what they're doing, and if you just do what they tell you, you'll see results! The classes are so fun! I loved the Lean + Fit classes and also enjoyed Hot Punch! If you want to get pushed hard, go to Josh's classes! He will kill you (in a good way). If you want to work hard to some good tunes, go to Jen's classes! I am now a member! :D If you've been wanting to start something but didn't know what, just join a challenge. Coming to the gym and eating well will quickly become habit. You will love coming here!

I did the 21 day challenge for the month of May. It started out as a way to jump start my weight loss and it ended up being so much more. I lost 12 pounds in just 3 weeks of doing the tread and shred classes. Not only is it just a gym, but just being there 3 weeks I could feel like it was just one big family. The trainers here treat you so nice and they always have such friendly smiles on their faces (something you don't see at other gyms unless you're paying for a personal trainer) the receptionists are super helpful and cheerful all the time as well. Another thing I really love about this gym is that the owner (John) is actually there all the time, he's not just an absent owner, he's actually there talking to the members and giving them advice and he actually just wants nothing more than for you to succeed! I ended up joining up after the 21 days and I can't wait to continue my journey here!

I joined the tread and shred class for $1 for 21 days and it has been great! I was nervous about starting but so glad that I did. The trainers are helpful, encouraging, positive and always ready to answer your questions. The classes are a nice mix of cardio and weights and everyone works at their own pace. I have learned a lot about nutrition as well and have changed the way I look at food. I have lost 13lbs in 3 weeks and feel great! Before trying out the lean and fit program for 21 days I was a little bit intimidated and didn't like the idea of eating 5 meals a day, and thought I would really struggle with the meal plan. Now after having participated in the program I noticed big changes in my body composition and just felt all around better. John Savidis met with us after every workout to discuss eating, and just how we were feeling from day to day. The 30 min workouts are accompanied with motivating staff and exhausting exercises. Very clean facility and well organized, making it a fun place to go work hard. Members and staff are supportive and fun to be around. This place is not for those who are not willing to give it all for a real life change. Commit or don’t waste their time! My results from 6 weeks. Start 233 lbs. now 209. Fat% started 30% now 22.9. I love bootcamp style fitness and they do it well here, the workouts are always challenging and evolving. However, you definitely know if you aren't one of their "friends". They treat people differently that they know. If you are not confident trying this type of group excercise, it would be an uncomfortable place.

Joined John Savidis for his 1$ 21 day shred. I was amazed. John, first of all wants to see everyone succeed, he is very knowledgable and happy to answer questions anyone had. His gym is very nice, modern looking, clean and the staff are very friendly. I believe John when he says if you follow my program you will see results, I seen immediate results. I have more energy, I'm more confident, I have learned things I didn't not know about my body and nutrition. I would highly recommend anyone joining his gym, you will see results and you will love the atmosphere.

I signed up for the 21 Day challenge for $1, thinking why not give it a go and see what the Lean and Fit classes are all about. After 2 weeks, I ended up signing up for the regular classes! I absolutely love the quick in and out 30 minute lean an fit exercises. It is an intense workout that gets you results!! 3 weeks in and I am down inches and weight, my mood and sleeping patterns are far better, and I have the energy to play and run around with my 2 young boys. I honestly couldn't have done this without these classes. The instructors and staff are amazing and always there to help. Its only a 30 minute class that will leave you feeling energized and full of life! Try it out, you will not be disappointed!

I loved the Tread and Shred program! The classes were a half hour long but felt like they lasted 10 minutes. I walked out of that class every time drenched in sweat and feeling fantastic! Being only a half hour long really allows you to push yourself past your limits. Our instructors were terrific encouraging, motivating and educating everyone throughout the program. John shows a genuine dedication to all the clients who walk through the doors. He truly has an invested interest in seeing results and helping everyone meet and exceeding their goals!

I just completed the 21 day challenge and I loved it. I wish I could start it all over again. I could see and feel the difference at John Savidis after my first workout. You don't just wander around the gym feeling lost or intimidated, watching the clock and pretending to exercise. The instructors guide you, they want to help you, they want to see you get stronger, they show you exactly how to do the exercise, they correct you and they push you as hard as they know you can. The classes are challenging, exciting, different, difficult and over in a half an hour. They are so fast paced you don't have time to think, you just do it full out and before you know it its over and you feel amazing. I thought I was exercising before but now that I have been to John Savidis I know what it feels like to truly work out. They have shown me how good it feels to push my body. After the 30 minutes you don't just walk out thinking you filled your exercise quota for the day. You feel strong, fit, energized and proud. They gave me back my confidence and strength to enjoy exercising again. Thank you for this opportunity, it was a gift i needed and enjoyed. It is a great group of people and a great gym.

I have been going to this gym since 2016 and it has been a tremendous and life-changing fitness journey. The community and supportive staff makes it very welcoming place for people of all experience and fitness levels. Through the challenging pandemic and an ownership change, the gym has managed to maintain a high level of customer service, improved cleanliness and maintain the great culture of working together with the staff/trainers and members alike to reach our individual fitness goals. My trainer in the picture below, DLo has been great at tweaking form, building well thought out personal training routines, adjusting when necessary and being very flexible to suit my busy schedule. I recommend this gym to anyone looking for a clean, private, no-judgement gym which caters to all fitness levels. Note: the tread and shred and hot kickboxing classes are next level!

I have just completed a 21 day challenge and it has really changed the way I view gyms. From the moment I walked in, I knew I would find my place here. and plant seeds to grow within this gym. The staff challenge you to your limits, they encourage you, and genuinely want to see you achieve your goals. There are no gyms that I have walked into where I have been able to feel an open door policy within management. If you are unable to do the full exercise, the instructors are extremely accommodating with modified workouts to fit your needs and limits yet still push you within those modifications. This gym is close knit community and was made to feel that most instructors after the 21 days know you on a personal level. This gym is authentic, demanding, and family orientated. It exceeded my expectations!

I just saw Lean and Fit on tv and I cant BELIEVE that these people are still in business! In the boot camp they just yell at you to get on it, but they dont care at all about form. I seriously hurt both my shoulder and my knee from improper training at their facility, that has haunted me for years now. I would give them ZERO STARS if I could, as I am still dealing with the aftermath of listening and trusting these jerks.

The tread and shred class was extremely challenging, but paid off! I lost 15 lbs in three weeks. The trainers are fantastic and very motivating, each class is almost like having a personal trainer. Good Morning to ALL!! Where to start. I was recently introduced to John Savidis by a co-worker. She had signed up and told a few of us at work about his beautiful new location just opened in Ancaster. We went for a free trial class and learned of the 21 day challenge he was offering. My story, I recently moved here. In fact, I have had two major, life changing moves and job changes in the last six months. Consequently, I have been STRESSED, with rising cortisol levels. Simply said I have gained midwaist weight. UGH!! My fitness and health have suffered. It takes 21 days to create a habit; therefore, it is no co-incidence that John created a challenge for 21 days! He purposefully with intention created a situation that would set people on a path of success. Success is what I have gained from participating with John and his incredible trainers. I am back on my path of health and wellness. I feel so great!!! Just knowing I am in control again. My energy is soaring, and my outlook positive and amazing. John held a nutrition session, which we all had to attend. He outlined a healthful and nutritious eating plan, a lifestyle, NOT a "diet". Not a quick fix. It was incredible. There were 220, 250 people present. A clear sign that this community needs help. John was there to give back! During the three weeks I attended three HIIT workouts a week at his club. I attended 6am classes with Boban, and Jeff. Those guys are awesome!! So supportive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We were given all the necessary tools for success. Be warned this system is NOT for the faint of heart or intention. It takes serious commitment and dedication. The same that you get from John and his team. Beyond the weight change, inches lost and reduction in bodyfat % I have regained my motivation and wellness intention. I'm so thankful to my co-worker for introducing me to John, to his trainers, and the "Lean and Fit" system! I love the energy and expertise that surrounds me when I'm there and follows me all through my day! I love the workouts that are offered at John Savidis Lean and Fit Elite, you can do something different everyday. Lean and fit classes are full of energy, kickboxing is fast paced and never boring! Everyone is so helpful and honest! Before I tried the 21 day challenge i felt like there was no beginning. I joined because my friend had told me that I needed to try it, i was hesitant but thought if John's team cant help then no one can. I have learned so much in just 21 days both emotionally and physically. I have met great and became friends with some great girls and we helped motivate each other through each workout and the support i was lacking i found. The challenge was difficult to get the eating down, eating 6 times a days was hard to get in but with the support of the team and Mia kicking me into gear it went off and i felt so much better and stronger. Now seeing the results I feel stronger and like I can be a role model for my teen daughter and feel sexy for my wife. If i had to tell a friend about my experience i would tell them, if you are feeling like you are there is nothing left you can do your wrong. For the health, safety and well-being of patrons, it would behoove this business to ensure that employees are vaccinated and that covid-19 protocols are followed religiously. Common knowledge tells you gyms are especially vulnerable to virus transmission and common sense tells you appropriate protections should be in place.

I don't mind the fitness programs offered at this gym however I won't be going back due to the lack of professionalism from trainers. I did a group session with a trainer that I believe is named Brandon. He was flirting with multiple women before and during the session including myself and asked for my phone number to take me out which made me feel uncomfortable to exercise. They definitely have "favourites" and they aren't afraid to show it.

I decided to join the 6 week program here and I had Eden guide me through my challenge! He was super awesome and helped me get the results I was looking for . I liked the fact that we had an ap on the phone and I could ask as many questions when ever I needed! Even though I hit my goals and my trip was over, I decided to continue my workouts here because when I leave .. I feel fresh / strong / healthy and full of energy to spend with my children !! Only thing I could say I don’t like is how they cut the middle of the day classes out. ????????

Not that good at all, i first went there to lose extra weight i gained from being inactive after my college years where i was somewhat athletic and in really good shape. I wanted to try lean and fit because i hated going to the gym where there was just too many people, what drew me in was the fact that when you train in the weight room it's just you and other personal trainer. The problem is that when you workout in the weight room you are only there for 20 minutes which is not enough and the rest of the time your doing cardio, which was not fun and really boring, the person running the boot camp class was just terrible. It came to the point where i started to feel my knees where in serious pain from all the cardio. i stopped going for a while now because my knees got so bad, right now i just hired a personal trainer which is kind of pricey but at least now i am seeing results and no more lousy cardio, we just focus on weight training and i already feel much more toned and a lean. My advice would be to find a good personal trainer who is fair with his/her pricing, overall this studio was no where near the quality i expected.

The whole Savidas team is great. They will work with someone at any level in their fitness journey. It's really inspiring to have so many people around that are so positive. I was quite worried before I went it that it would be intimidating and that I would not be able to stick to the meal plans. I was extremely sceptical starting this 21 day challenge with John Savidis Lean and fit; I've tried everything! I was already working out 6 days a week and still never lost a pound. How could this program actually make a difference, if nothing else was? I decided that this challenge couldn't hurt! Within days, I had dropped 7 pounds. Okay, I know this sounds like crap, but it's not! Within a few more days I was down 10, and now heading into the last week, I'm down almost 20 pounds. But this last few weeks has been more than seeing a weight loss on the scale, it's become a journey; one I plan on seceding at! I learned what my body needed to keep fuelled. I feel more energetic, I sleep better, and I no longer long for the foods I always craved. I've learned to workout smarter by pushing myself to work harder for shorter amounts of time, as we do in our 30 minutes class. I'm always looking forward to the next one.
