Great gym overall - love that there is a separate section for women (it needs some work, but not too picky!) Awesome variety of equipment. One thing I would suggest would be to actually update their social media pages (insta, actual website) especially during COVID, where updates are constantly going out & create a space to book time slots online.

As i just started 15 days before. The machines are very good in conditions either they have a lot of different machines for different exercises. They are all in good working conditions. Great selection of diverse workout equipment, and lovely staff. Best of all, it's never crowded. If you feel like a potato and you want to change your body from the inside-out, go here and ask for John, He'll show you the way. This place changed my life. I personally train with Sarah Waddell, and she is by far the best trainer I've had. Incredibly professional, high technical skill, and most importantly, an incredible personality. I've been training with Sarah for 8 weeks now, and somehow she still pushes me beyond my limits every single time. If you want fast & effective results this is the way to do it.

Big facility, friendly staff.the gym has been improving so much whether with renovation or hygiene side. The management now is more explicit they have compassion and they take your consideration in serious manner . I renewed my membership before one week ago with Justin . Justin so friendly and he goes beyond his duties to make you happy, I recommend you to talk to Justin for signing up for new membership/renewing. He explains and answers all the questions you have with no hesitation. The reason I give 4 stars is because there's no cardio room for running or to do rope jumping....ect

This gym has a true Hamiltonian charm about it. Hard working, gets the job done and at the end of the day you feel satisfied. The equipment can be intimidating as there are pieces you have never seen before. That said, if you ask the front desk they'll be more than happy to show you how to use it as they're all well versed in the layout. For serious lifters this is an ideal place for you, and for those looking to stay in shape or get into better shape they have everything you need for it, from a mini-cafe to RMT's for your benefits to personal training. Worth the tour to check it out, the owner and staff mean well and want the best for their members, you just have to reach out and ask.

90 % Equipment doesn’t work, women’s area is a joke. Canceled my membership after 1 week and they still took money out of my account 2 months . Took two weeks to get a refund of money they should not have taken. Truly disappointed, had high hopes for this great looking gym.

Half of the gym equipment is broken all the time. Also when signed up for membership i was not told that there is a one year contract. I talked to the manager about that and she said it's my fault i must have read the contract before sign. She was right, i should have read the contract rather than trusting their loyalty and words. I used gym for 3 months and paid for 1 year. Be very careful while signing in They don't tell you that they are putting you in 1 year contract.( it will be written on your contract but they don't tell you verbally).

I am happy to report that management is stepping it up, the women's gym is expanding, and will have lots of great equipment to add, I feel more comfortable in the women's gym so its nice to see that they are equipping it as equally as the top part of the gym. I would also like to add if you ever need anything, you can always count on Dani, she is my go to person for anything! She is the only person that keeps her word , .She is positive, kind, professional and organized. She displays a maturity beyond her years, so don’t think that because she is younger that she doesn’t know what she is doing, because truthfully without her ,the entire place would suffer. By far the best gym I have ever been too,,, Joined Body Pro recently and I have to say, they took the time to find out my personal goals and they are helping me achieve them. I am training with Jacob and he is amazing! He pushes me beyond what I ever thought I was capable of. The difference between working out with a trainer vs working out alone is night and day! John has put me on a nutrient plan and between proper eating and weight training , I am already seeing amazing results in such a short period of time. The equipment by far surpasses any other gym and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Body Pro. a serious gym for serious people!

I joined Body Pro Gym over 7 months ago in order to conquer my fear of gyms and being seen exercising among fit people. As a lifelong morbidly obese girl I was and still am very self conscious and I have always been intimidated by physically fit, healthy people and afraid of their judgement of how I look. To my great relief, from the very beginning, the management, staff, and members have been very kind, patient and encouraging to me. As someone who's been ostracized for how I look, it was wonderful to be accepted and supported for who I am. I love going there now and view it as my home away from home. It helps with my anxiety and depression and overall wellbeing. It's my refuge. The variety of equipment is awesome...there is a machine designed to work every muscle group and there is always someone who's willing to help and give advice to newcomers. The staff are very professional and kind and it is a great community of likeminded people working on their own health and bodies. It is an old style bodybuilders gym and has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone especially those who are self conscious like me.

NOT AN EMPTY BOAST … I am visiting Hamilton for a few weeks and was searching for a place to train. While reviewing the various gyms online, I must confess I was enticed but also rolled my eyes a little bit when reading BodyPro Gym’s boast: “The most equipment under one roof. No other gym can compare!“ I decided to see for myself. I arrived at 0900 on a weekday and the gym was not crowded. I inquired with the pleasant young man at the front counter about the price for one month and he quoted me $40 which is a competitive price; he however also indicated that I would have to pay a $150.00 registration fee--they used to be called an initiation fee, I believe. I could tell he was uncomfortable with informing me of this but was likely just doing what he was instructed to. I was quite taken aback and dismayed by this “registration fee” as I thought these had been done away with sometime in the 1990’s. I travel for my living and I have never encountered this in any gym in North America, Europe and North Africa. I declined to sign up and returned to my vehicle to look for another gym. A few minutes later this staff member came out to my vehicle and informed me that he had contacted his supervisor (or owner) and informed him of my inquiry. The end result was that he had arranged for the registration fee to be waived. So I signed up for one month. What became immediately apparent was that BodyPro Gym could back up their public claims of having the most equipment under one roof. In all my travels throughout the world, I have never encountered a gym with such a volume and variety of equipment—there were pieces of equipment I had never seen before. This gym would have to be very busy indeed for any member to be delayed because some piece of equipment was in use—there is suitable redundancy with the heavily used apparatuses. There is also a Dumbbell Studio, which is generously furnished with many fixed dumbbells and barbells in addition to numerous benches of various purposes. The walls are adorned with inspiring photos of the bodybuilding icons of days gone by. There is also a Glute and Abdominal Studio for those so inclined to this particular form of self-abuse. There are also a plentiful number of cardio machines for those whose lives are devoid of meaning and have lost their will to live. This is truly a remarkable and extraordinary facility. It reminds me a bit of the great old-school bodybuilding gyms like Gold's in California. I found that the high level of fitness in the members present and the available equipment left me inspired and energized to train hard. I am really looking forward to my next workout. I regret that I don’t live in Hamilton as I could easily make this gym my home. However, the registration fee would be a non-starter for me regardless of how terrific the facility may be. I am most grateful to the young staff member (Shaddan, I believe ?) for going out of his way to provide exemplary customer service.

A good gym with a lot of equipment, Not overly crowded which is good if you are a little nervous working out with a lot of people around. The people who are in the gym are very nice, and will ask you how you are and actually care about you and your workout progress. without bringing you down. The only complaint I would have is there is A LOT of equipment and not a lot of room to streatch out or move around without bumping into equipment.

Due to the Covid restrictions put in place I am unable to be in the area anymore so I can’t use the gym so I tried to cancel my membership and they didn’t care so now I’m a college student paying $60 for a gym I can’t even go to until the membership is up because they won’t cancel it. On top of that you’re paying for poor quality. They brag about having a wide range of machines which they do. For example they have 10 leg extension machines but 8 out of 10 are broken or missing pegs. Atmosphere is terrible and dirty. Do not waste your money….

It is a great facility to get in shape, more equipment than any other gym I've ever seen, never waiting for a machine ,want to swim, jump in the pool, Steam room . Boutique Fit women's private gym. Nutra Bar, all healthy nutritious meals, protein shakes, fruit smoothies , you need supplements , got them on site in a store as big as Popeyes . The gym offers state of the art equipment for weight/strength training making them one of the most diversely equipped clubs in Ontario. 10/10 love this place!!!!

The gym has had a great face lift since the new ownership came in. The staff also seems much better, as the old staff (when it was century fitness) were awful, and constantly annoying members. Loses a star because the music they play (at least in the mornings) is awful. I have a hard time imagining the three guys in there at 6 am are really craving Cher, euro dance music and occasionally rap. A little rock, hard rock or metal would be much appreciated, but clearly this is a purely subjective feeling and fixable with earbuds.

Place is awesome! Joined about a month ago.. There is a littérally a huge dedicated area for each muscle group.. Including 2-6 duplicate of each machine so you are never waiting.. 6 squat racks! Dumbbells going up to 250lbs.. With benches to spot you on the DBs, never seen that anywhere else . The change rooms are clean and large. The protein shakes are well priced and pretty good. The wall art is amazing...

The facility isn't even worth comparing to the rest of the gyms in the city, completely blows them out of the water. Speaking of water, the pool is amazing along with the steam sauna both of which are extremely well taken care of and clean. Not to mention the staff is extremely helpful with showing around the gym and suggesting machines-which there are an imense amount of. Lastly and most importantly is simply the atmosphere in the building. There is so much motivation developed and even if youre having the worst day you'll walk out of this facility feeling phenomenal. I drive 30 mins one way just to make my way to this place, that's how good it is!

I've going to this particular gym for about 3 years now, and when I first started my membership the gym was run down and equipment was broken. Some of the staff were rude and didn't help with any issue I had with my membership or the gym. Now, since the renovation have taken place the gym feels alot more professional. The staff is great and the equipment is updated and the gym itself is very tidy and clean. I actually enjoy coming to this gym now because of the improvements and whats to come.

I was a personal trainer at Goodlife fitness for 8 years. After moving in to another profession, I was treated very poorly by the company and staff I was friends with. I refused to go back to Goodlife as I needed a Gym where I can train and not be bothered or watch people have group meetings around the machines. Close friends Nicole and Serge recommended that I come check out Body Pro. I was greeted by the Owner, John, Who asked my purpose. When I told him I was a fighter that just needed a place to lift and train without being bothered he completely did everything to make me feel comfortable. We went on the floor and the amount of machines there is unreal. Great place for people who are serious about taking care of their fitness, over worrying about how popular their instagram page is. Highly Recommend.

BODYPRO GYM to me is a real place to work out. There is such a large variety of equipment and no one ever has to wait to use a machine. Not only is the equipment unbelievable, the women's locker room is really nice! The private showers are awesome and big lockers for storing personal belongings while working out. The hours are great - they are open 24 hours during the week!!

I have to be completely honest here . Most of the machines don't work or need to be fixed , it destroys your workout when almost everything in the gym is broken . They NEED to step it up when it comes to making sure the machines are working . You may injure yourself if equipment is not functioning properly . There seems to be a lot of machines just thrown together , not much space between machines and difficult to walk by or get weights on or off . They allow members to keep multiple plates on machines and no one who seems to work there care or monitor what is happening . Once you have signed up and become a member be sure that you will be ignored and NEVER greeted once . It's not your friendly gym where you are properly greeted and treated like a valuable member of a fitness club . No clean gym mats will be found for you to use and you will not find any kettle bells or bosu balls for working out . Very dirty atmosphere and never a person to ask for help with the equipment upstairs . I am being honest and fair with my review . It seems to me that they just want you to sign up and get your money .

Poor customer service. Brought in a friend to try the gym, made him pay because he had been once before (even though he had a free trial pass). Not sure how you are supposed to sign up after one workout. Goodlife gives you 3 free trials, even a week for free. As a person that has brought in two members already that have signed up, definitely could have made an exception. Not only did they lose a potential member, they will lose my business when my membership expires.

I joined Body Pro about a month ago. Best decision I could have made. Have had memberships in many gyms over the years. Body Pro is a stellar gym, not only because it has such a crazy selection of equipment unmatched by anyone else, but it is the people who make this gym spectacular. I am welcomed genuinely all the time by all staff. One of the biggest strengths there is the super management team in John the owner and Carmen the manager. Carmen has the extraordinary ability to make whatever adjustments are needed to deal with the pandemic and us members. By the way, most gyms I have been in require a one year commitment...that is not unusual. Carmen is versatile and ensures we are safe in whatever zone we are in plus deal with all our varying personalities. Not easy to do. John is the guru of fitness in my opinion. He has incredible vision of our potential and took great steps to ensure my trainer in the Transformation program is the best fit. I am a new recruit there. I train with Manny....who constantly motivates me to step up to the plate. Manny has the rare gift of recognizing what I need or can do and makes every training session such a positive experience. I feel lucky. He is a phenomenal trainer who truly shows exceptional talent in his profession. I highly recommend that everyone should come and see what Body Pro offers, like I did. I appreciate its wonderful members, warm front-line staff, caring and strong management, massive amount of high quality equipment...esp the glutes and abdominal machines. I give 5 stars to Body Pro. The gym itself isn't bad, except the treadmills are always broken. They had a paper up saying they're getting new machines, but no machines. How can you run a gym with 2 working treadmills ? My female friend goes there, apparently there's a female only section with working treadmills. If you're looking for a gym to do cardio, go elsewhere if you're a guy.

EDIT: After speaking with staff they were more then willing to change the music to something more upbeat. They really are trying to make this gym the best in the city Best gym in town I've been to. They are replacing a lot of the old equipment with new stuff arrive nearly weekly. They are building a Woman's only room as well. No where else will you find the equipment they have here. Dumbbells go up to 250lbs. My only complaint is the TERRIBLE music that they play over the speakers. I can appreciate the oldies but I don't want to hear the Eagle's "Desperado" while I'm trying to pump myself up for a heavy lift. Today while doing leg press Madonna's "Girls just want to have fun" came on..... Perhaps try some drum and Bass, Hard House Dubstep, Heavy Metal or Hip Hop.

Been a member since the premier days, went through a rough patch since then but over the past year with the new management it's gone through a whole new renovation and is better than ever. The weights and selection is bar none and don't have to wait for machines like good life! Definitely recommend checking it out

Moved 45 min away and an employee named Carmen straight up said “No” to cancelling my membership. Hours are also inconvenient if you’re night owl who prefers late night workouts. Lots of broken equipment. I regret cancelling at GoodLife. 30 min after posting this, the same lady called 2 times and threatened to report me if i dont delete my review! LOL also said she would comment that the payment went NSF (my direct deposit goes into my savings, not that its anyones business) but yeah, please do yourselves a favour and go anywhere else!!! harassment wasnt in the fine print either…

The staff is still recently new to the gym and didnt know how to handle my previous request cancelling the membership. Easily one of the better gyms I’ve been too. Great location, fantastic equipment and wonderful staff. They keep the place really clean and have nice variety of equipment, multiple squat racks and bench presses so I never have to wait. The pool is never busy and but they still clean it twice a day. It’s a perfect size for me to do my cardio in and right after that I go to the steam room to loose any excess water weight. 10/10 gym, recommended to all my friends

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. On March 10th I made a membership with John. The next day I decided I wasn’t ready for the gym because I had a 4 month old at home. John told me I had 10 days to cancel. I called back on the 12th to cancel they said it had to be canceled through John but he wasn’t in. I tried to get a hold of him for 2 days and everyone who answered my phone calls were aware I was trying to cancel. John never call back so I decided to walk-in on the 13th late that evening. John was not there but Justin and the manager were in. Justin had me sign the cancelation paper and told me I still needed to come and see John and that he would be in on the 16th. So came in to see him on the 16th and this time I came in recording our conversation because the whole situation didn’t sit well with me and I did not trust these people... John continues to “cancel my membership.” Fast forward like 8 months later it’s now November the manager left me voicemails saying that she’s sending me to collection agency. I called the manager back with the phone number she left me and said she’s not working today. And that she deals with cancelations- not what was said to be back in March. I had to go walk-in AGAIN with my papers to show them I have canceled and to let them know I have a recording of the conversation with John the day I canceled. Manger thinks John forgot to press save when he canceled. After she knew about the recordings of course she did it no problem. Thankfully I recoded everything from the voicemails, phone conversations and walk-ins. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I should not have to talk to 3 people and explain myself again 8 months later to cancel my membership. I did my part- and you guys need do yours !!! and stop being so unprofessional and disorganized! And do YOUR JOB BETTER.

Everyone is extremely friendly and staff are very well organized. I have never been to a club with such an incredible array of gym equipment. I must say, it is very disheartening to see someone like "Billy Bob" post numerous comments from various fake accounts, although evidently from the same IP address.

Horrible experience. I was told I had to pay $20 for a "FREE" day pass, and was told "I had no intention to join". If I did before, I definitely won't be considering joining now. They even advertise how people drive from all over to come to this gym, yet my free guest pass was refused because I said I lived out of town. There was no mention on the guest pass that you had to live in town to use it. The front desk personnel was also very condescending.

Excellent gym with all new latest machines,dont need to stand in line to get machines.,its a very good gym for pros and as well as for people looking for fitness.i.have never seen this much new equipments.

If your looking for a hardcore gym Body Pro is the place for you. Has the most variety of gym equipment anywhere in Hamilton and the staff are great as well. Highly recommend!

Gyms not what it used to be ! Lots of new equipment, youll never wait for a machine. Place has been re-done top to bottom, wont be dissapointed.

Absolutely no respect for their members, they refuse to turn down their swearing rap music under any circumstances. It's impossible to turn your headphones up loud enough to drown out their music even at 8AM. 80% of the reviews are fake, most "people" that have put a review have only ever reviewed Body Pro Gym. The pace is messy and dirty, even the guy mopping the floor walks around all day wearing a medical mask. B.Y.O.M.M. Bring your own medical mask.

Don't you people do your research Same owner just changes name of the business. Holy check history of this gym on line. It's terrible. Talk to former employees. People give 5 stars for the free t shirt then get locked in to 1 year contract find half the equipment is broken the gym is dirty and no staff . Unlike good life new equipment tons of cleaning staff .

All I can say is this gym is a killer gym it's very hard core been going now for 2 months and I'm getting my gains back fast. But the ONLY thing I dislike is the music they play when the girl worker's there play like Justin Bieber it just makes me wanna leave they need to play some hard core stuff to match the vibe this gym gives us .
