I am a woman who feels incredibly uncomfortable at a gym, especially a co-ed gym that seems to cater to people who take fitness and working out really seriously. We came to check it out and I explained to the staff that I was apprehensive. Aaron kindly offered to show me the ropes and made me feel very comfortable. We have had a few sessions together and the results have been amazing so far! He listened to my concerns and we discussed my issues and goals and he came up with the perfect routine to support me. I have chronic pain, and it’s been drastically reduced as a result of his targeted exercises and support. I would highly recommend reaching out to Aaron if you are looking to up your fitness game. If you’re feeling apprehensive like me, give them a try and let them know what you need. I’m so glad I got over my anxiety about it. Their prices are very reasonable, for both the membership and training sessions. Payment options are flexible as well. Go check it out!

Great atmosphere, very clean and never really busy. They have a huge selection of weights and equipment. No wait times for cardio equipment and not crowded. Patrons are friendly and the hours are awesome. 5 am to 10 pm.

The gym is fantastic I don’t need to wear mask there! No one wears mask makes me feel free????! I can clearly see the coach face now! It doesn’t like other gym to ask you protect protect protect and sanitize sanitize sanitize!

Great price, great staff, and clean. I could do without the guy banging the weights though. Otherwise great value with plenty on equipment.

Love the gym itself. Not too busy and great equipment. Staff isn't the greatest, they always seem annoyed when you have any kind of question. Good luck if you have any questions, you'll feel like you just ruined their day. But as long as you don't have to deal with management, it's a great gym! Love the location and they seem to be doing lots of improvements, it's looking great.

This gym was a great find, very good bang for the buck, there is no signage so I would have never have found it unless i googled gyms in the area. The membership cost is very fair, cheaper then most gyms in the city (about 40-45$ per month). Only cons would be that the change rooms and bathrooms do not get cleaned enough, and a lot of the members don't follow basic gym rules like wiping down equipment or returning weights and equipment back where they got it.

I've been a member at different gyms / fitness centres around Halifax, 5 in total, and I have to say that impact is one of the nicest. It's never too busy and its exceptionally clean. I feel comfortable and enjoy going to the gym now that I'm a member here. I would recommend this gym if your looking for the points mentioned above.

Great gym to check out, especially if you're in the area. Jonni has made some amazing improvements since taking the reigns and I would highly recommend this gym as a new place to train. Great equipment, environment, and knowledgable trainers to help you accomplish your goals!
