A decent gym. Not as good as the Waterloo good life (no women's only section, for example), but the new renos are nice.

I really like GoodLife and this is the most convenient location for me, it’s just too small. I was really disappointed this location didn’t uses 2 levels where the dollerama is downstairs. Perhaps they didn’t perceive it to be as busy a location. I find myself going to Eramosa more as it’s just got more space. Good clean facility though.

TRX-Class Since 6 month I join the TRX-Class with Laird at GoodLife Fitness. I really must say it makes so much fun. Laird has considerable expertise regarding TRX training and Fitness in general. He knows to motivate our class when it is getting strenuous. The training is outstanding and there is never a dull moment. Each time we are learning new exercises. Thank you Laird for all your workouts which I have done with you. I am looking forward to the next workouts. Laird, you are the best!!!

Nice gym - good variety of equipment. Only thing I wish they had was a straight bar for pull-ups! They have plenty of handles/horns on racks for doing chin ups and pull ups, but I prefer a straight bar. This seems to be pretty common of all the good life facilities though.

This GoodLife is smaller than the others. You get less for your money at this specific location. The other GoodLife locations have steam rooms, pools, and quite a few more group classes (hot yoga, ect). For $65 a month, probably not worth it. If it had more content, the facility is new, machines are kept clean... It's alright.

This specific location is always clean and well-organized. The staff is professional, which is key. Unfortunately, they’re a GoodLife who’re known for making it tough to cancel your membership by and bilking you for extra months you don’t want it use. They talk a big game about their mantra and mission, but they’re primarily concerned with their bottom line. The fact that they explicitly made a statement against the government for lockdowns was despicable.

wasnt even the location i signed up at and still love it!! PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE! daniel helped my sister and two friends get set up with their memberships and was above and beyond any worker i have interacted with, cant even express how impressed i am! goodlife is already great with their classes and cleanliness but daniel’s customer service puts them higher than ever compared to other gyms. go to daniel if you need a membership!!!

This is my favorite location out of all . I have been to ones in Toronto and and Guelph and this one is the best. It is not crowded and very well laid out. Love the wall of windows as well.

This is such a well-equipped, bright and spacious gym to work out in. But what makes this gym 5 star is the amazing staff. They are friendly, helpful and make us feel welcome each time we visit.

Signed a personal trainer membership and the gyms got closed due to covid. Months later when they were allowed to open, I texted my Personal Trainer and she no longer worked there so I couldn't book a session but they charged me anyways. Once they figure out a new trainer for me I had found out I was pregnant (with a history of past complications) and I didn't feel safe going unvaccinated to the gym (there was no vaccine at the time and expecting mothers were high risk). On top of that even schools were closed and little kids kept at home (I had 2 kids under 5). I practically begged them to freeze my membership until after I had the baby and they wanted me to come back to the gym after 2 weeks of having an emergency c-section. They do not care about the customer well being or long term loyalty. They told me I signed the contract and that was it, end of story. If I don't want to work out I pay their penalty fee and good bye.

It’s on the second floor, no a/c and no fans. Plus no solid pull up bar and all the machines are in kg not pounds so each increase in plates is ridiculous

It's smaller than most Goodlife locations but it has everything that I need. I usually go on off-peak times so I never have an issue with waiting for any equipment or crowding on the turf. The gym usually stays clean, even before covid.

This gym completely changed my perspective on fitness. I have to say Lily is highly recommended if you’re looking for a great personal trainor. I had past experiences with other trainors at Goodlife which weren’t as pleasant. She taught me how to manage my diet, moderation and how to enjoy life. She pushed when it was difficult and always stayed positive. Thanks to you Lily I have the life I’ve always wanted. See you at the gym. B.

The club's equipment selection and atmosphere are OK but it's completely overshadowed by the complete lack of cleanliness, especially in the entrance including two flights of stairs and an area for members to remove winter footwear. It's absolutely disgusting. You can't set ANYTHING on the floors - including your socked feet - without getting covered in salt, sand, etc. This is a problem every year and the management at this gym continues to do nothing about it. I often see a cleaning lady NEEDLESSLY inside wiping the screens of the cardio equipment with a dirty wet rag, but NO ONE is ever taking a vacuum or rug shampooer to all of the salt and salt stains outside the gym's main doors.

Did not visit. Belonged years ago to the one on Edinburgh. It was expensive there was no pool and equipment not maintained. It may be ok now but would not go back

This place was at one point a pretty good gym, now it sucks. The equipment is still good and the associates are still as friendly as ever. My main issue is that they have drastically reduced their hours. before covid they were open 24hr Monday-Thursday. now they close at 11 pm, they say "cause of covid we can't stay open 24hr". Such BS, before covid, after 11pm, maybe 12am this gym was completely empty. Do you really think that with covid more people are suddenly going to decide to workout after 11pm???? There is a clear disconnect in your logic here.

Great gym, but very rude customer service during Sunday mornings, asked for a towel and made it a big issues while I had no problem asking for the towel since August 2016. Made an excuse that my membership doesn't include towel. I don't really know the name of that gentleman who usually start his shift around 10:00pm during weekdays who has great customer service experience, welcoming and towels are always on the counter.

My favorite class is "Body Pump" with Warren (Mon-Fri), Catherine - Body Flow-Pump (Sun). They have something special that make the class very enjoyable and the music volume is just perfect on contrary with Tuesday BODYCOMBAT 6:30pm & Thursday Body Pump 5:30 pm class that I refuse to attend due to music volume. I understand there should be a good bit to get you motivated but other instructors have a normal sound level.This place is called a heath club not a noise pollution place. In general, sounds above 85 are harmful.

Some Front desk staff are slow at offering a towel or offering at all. Just put them out OR as you see our profile when we check in, offer me a towel - I have paid for it and need one 100% of the time. Also, soap, conditioner and moisturizer in the men's room are empty more often. In the shower and no soap, yuck.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went in looking for a 14 day membership. I was told I had to purchase the membership online, which is fine. However, I was at Goodlife without a phone and access to internet. They would not let me purchase the membership at their gym. I can not comprehend why it was so hard for me to walk in to a gym and purchase a membership in person. I will not return!
