Great facility, but I had to cancel my membership due to unprofessional staff behavior. I understand that government makes them demand proof of vaccination and I have no issues with that as silly as it is (they know that I am vaccinated and they have this information on file). Today, a new member of staff, Dan, wouldn't let me scan my card (literally took away the scanner when I was trying to use it as I do every time) and demanded the proof of vaccination first. I said that I would be happy to show it right after I scan my card as I have been doing 3-4 times a week in the past months, but he persisted. I am pretty sure that they don't have the order of scanning / showing written in their policies and this was some sort of an unnecessary power trip. I found it to be uncourteous and if not rude at least off-putting and not a customer service I deserve after years of being a member. In addition to that over the course of the last many weeks I have seen people not wiping equipment, not wearing masks and breaking multiple policies and management did little to address it (I spoke to staff several times) so this strict enforcement of arbitrary rule was too much. Ultimately, I literally had enough and it was the time to draw the line. Have a good life GoodLife.

Pretty good place to workout at would recommend going awesome staff there. Super nice friendly and positive group. David is a gem would recommend coming to visit and saying hi to David and the staff.

$7 for 2 hours of daycare from 9 to noon every day but Sunday. With 2 little kids and working for myself, it gives me a nice little break in the day. And I'm slowly getting addicted to the massage chairs.

Huge location, wish all were this size! Also actual 24hrs all days of the week as opposed to many other locations falsely advertising such. 4-stars for me due mainly to how busy this location typically is, it's a popular location and hard to get decently quiet times if you prefer less crowds.

Best goodlife I have ever been too! The cardio and weight machines are very well organized and there is lots of space in the free weight and TRX areas. The group fitness studio is great and I love the selection of classes

Poor customer service. Some of the staff here tries their best to ignore you as you walk in or leave. When you ask them for a towel, again (some) of the staff show you an attitude as if they are doing you a favour. The equipment and the gym is neat tho.

Came last week for my first time in Guelph since I moved, got a little lost on my way so I arrived for the 6pm class at 5:55 and was told they stop handing out hot yoga tickets ten minutes prior to the class. Had to wait around for the 7:15 class instead which was super inconvenient for me. Was disappointed as this the timing doesn’t really *stop* people from coming into the class late but I thought I’d give the heads up to others as I never had this problem at any other location. I would put five stars for the yoga teachers though, they’re the nicest I’ve met so far and super easy to follow.

I live closer to the south end location but will be making a habit of coming to the Eramosa location. I went at a peak time 5pm-7pm and was still able to find a tread, get machines, have floor space for work outs etc.

Very specious gym with lots of equipment. Has 4 squat racks which not many gyms have. Love the high ceilings and a big plus that it's open 24/7.

I always look forward to coming to this gym, it is "home" for me. I've been to the other GoodLife gym in the south end which is just 2 minutes drive from my place, but still prefer to make the 15 minute drive to Eramosa. Place is huge, bright, clean, airy, machines are well maintained, ladies locker room always clean with lots of benches and lockers. But most of all the staff, from Holly, the GM, (Miguel, former AGM), Jenny, David, my trainer Chelsey and the other staff (pardon me, names escape me) are all very professional, friendly and quick to serve. Holly even sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my home, when she learned that my husband was diagnosed with cancer. What a very beautiful and kind gesture that will always be appreciated and never forgotten. I regularly attend Newbody class and the instructors Andrea and Frances are fantastic! They motivate me, so much fun to attend their classes! Even the substitute instructors, Pat and Deb were great! They all know their craft very well! This gym is the place to be!

This can be a busy location after work, which I imagine is consistent with any other GoodLife. You will find the standard equipment, men's locker room is an okay size but could use some more benches. GoodLife staff are friendly and seem pretty easygoing and eager to assist.

this is a great gym, i work out 2 times a day at noon and 4:00. i always see the equipment being wiped down by the cleaning staff. staff always helpful and club kept clean great place to workout.

Positives: work out equipment was decent, toilets and changing rooms are alright, you need your own key Negatives: i personally have had a bad experience here, customer service is more off the end of sales pitches, trying to shove deals down your throat constantly, never feeling comfortable because you don't know how to say no, and when you do they don't listen, i get that's how their being paid but to always be persistent its not professional, but you also want to say please leave me alone, even after you signed up for a whole 1 year, cant cancel only after the year is up. if you want to cancel will cost you more then the year itself. Check it out for yourself and you will see, just don't sign until you ask the important question; Q: After i sign will you leave me alone, or i wont choose this gym be real, don't be afraid something i learnt through this whole process

I absolutely love this gym so much. The staff is super friendly. They make an effort to get to know you and make you feel comfortable in the gym. The equipment is always in top condition and clean. There’s new equipment in very often as well. I’m not one for classes, but the few yoga sessions I’ve attended have been great.

Lots of equipment whether you're into free weights, circuit machines, or cardio equipment. It's open 24/7 which is nice. It has some great classes including yoga and meditation. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Prices are very good considering everything you get.

After having one of the most awful days, my friend and I found ourselves at GoodLife. The desk staff, Zac, went out of his way to make the experience the best it could possibly be and he didn't even have to. He honestly turned an awful day into a fantastic one all by himself. Clean, large Fitness Ckub offering the great programmed classes such as zumba, weights, yoga and biking of the Goodlife chain as well as lots of free weights, machines and equipment. Changes rooms are spacious and centrally located in Guelph. Grocery store beside it is convenient too. Lots of well lit parking.

Extremely disappointing to see that public health measures are blatantly ignored. I know for a fact that people are not restricted from wearing a mask because it's usually around their neck or shoved in their pockets so they obviously just wore it to get past the employees at the front desk. If staff are looking for ideas on how to do better here are 2 ideas: - kindly remind people when they come in that masks are required when moving between machines - have somebody walking around to call people out. staff can even take shifts doing this instead of having 3 of them huddled at the front desk! Goodlife, we are paying you good money and in return you are expected to provide us with a safe place to work out. It is not my job to confront your members to obey the public health mandate. Please take action to reverse this terrible precedent you've set at your facilities.

Facility has everything you need in terms of equipment and space. Plenty of classes offered as well. The only thing that needs to change is staff need to enforce COVID safety policies better. According to the posted signs, masks are required when moving in between equipment and should only be removed once you begin working out at a station. Too many people are walking around without a mask and I have yet to see staff intervene. There are also certain areas which indicate only one person should be working in a taped off area, but this rule is also ignored. On off hours, I have definitely seen some staff vigilantly cleaning equipment in between use - which is great and much appreciated! Really no other complaints about this gym (have been going here with friends and family for many years). Just wanted this noted here though in case you are weary about coming back to work out during COVID times. With the Delta variant and a good chunk of the population still waiting on second doses, it is very important to keep each other safe!
