I purchased a T-2 by Thule to carry my bike outside of Grande Prairie. There wasn't one in stock when I had come by a month or so ago. At that time a young woman very knowledgeable helped me to narrow to the T-2. She knew I wanted quality. On the order she had indicated that I might need some help to assemble it, the T-2. I waited patiently even though there weak substitutes available elsewhere in Grande Prairie. I received a phone call about a week ago that indeed the shipment of bike racks from Thule, a Swedish company and home of my grand parents, had arrived. Robert, one of the managers, gave a call and left a message. The T-2 was all ready to be picked up. He and I had a great conversation about the finer points of the T-2 when I came by. Ernie's, knowledgeable staff, customer oriented, purveyor of outstanding bike carriers of fine quality. You won't be disappointed.

With 4 kids in hockey we head to Ernie's often for skate sharpening, new sticks, skates and gear. we never feel pressure to buy the more expensive items and often check out the used selection. Staff is always helpful doesn't matter if we are buying a $250 stick or $30 used skates. I recommend Ernie's to all the new skaters that join our club.

I went into Ernie's to shop around for a mountain bike. Ive looked all over the internet and everyone's sold out of the 5 bikes I had narrowed my search down to. Ernie's was the same story with one major exception. They do lay away! I was completely blown away because that's a concept I haven't heard about since KMart! The salesman was extremely knowledgeable on all things bike related and I wasnt pressured to buy anything. The bike is still a pre order and norco isn't really giving any concrete dates for shipments which sucks, but like I said this is the same story everywhere. They were definitely awesome to deal with. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

There being a shortage of bikes on the market this year because of Covid, I purchased a bicycle elsewhere and brought it to Ernie’s to have it tuned. They told me it would be ready in approximately a week to a week and a half but it was only a week before I got a call that it was ready. When I took my bicycle out for a spin I was happy to feel a great improvement from my brand new bike purchase before and after tuneup. We were looking for a high support shoe in the arch and ankle area. he suggested an ankle brace for my injury/condition with a non-hightop shoe since they don't have the arch support. He was such a huge help! He helped explain all the brace types and showed us what our choices were for what we would be looking for. He took over an hour of his time to help us. Fetching shoes and making sure the braces fit right. RJ was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, happy and we definitely wouldn't have found the right shoe or brace without him!
