A small place in the region that is guaranteed to give you a big taste of the area's best foods and drinks. The interior is very cosy and rustic, with a multitude of decorations, statues, carvings, painting and more. What's amazing about this place is the warm welcome that the manager and staff offer! Very friendly and courteous beyond what we see even in first- class restaurants.The food is very delicious and homemade, with generous portions and very fresh ingredients (their salmon bagel is to die for). Their desserts are out of this world, also home made. Highly recommended if not A MUST if you're in the region!

Interesting selection of coffees, sandwiches, pizzas and deserts. The terrace offers a view only Gaspé can offer. The staff was very helpful and we did not wait long.

We visited on August 13th and had an excellent experience. They are open now for dine-in and patio with social distancing, they were extremely friendly and helpful throughout service. We got a cap, espresso and three of the croissant dejeuners. We also got a pain au chocolat. All pastries were unbelievably fresh... we ended up buying 6 croissants to go (which they do not normally sell like a bakery so they were pricey, but delicious). It is also a very beautiful restaurant with rustic ovens and art inside. Highly recommend, was a great break from our camping breakfasts.

The coffee is pretty bad; what was coming out of the machine was far from an espresso (high flowing spurting grey-brown coffee). Pretty disappointing for a Cafe. The chocolatine and decor was nice though.

The view is awesome, you should try to get a table by the balcony or beside the windows. The pastas were only ok, but this is a café, I should have come for a hot chocolate with a pastry instead. The staff were all very friendly, I'll definitely come back during my next trip to Gaspé.

Great spot to have a breakfast, delicious coffee, healthy options available with a giant muffin! Friendly and efficient staff. I recommend the outdoor seatings, to have a view at the Jacques Cartier Promenade while eating.

Never had such a horrible service experience in my life! Food was mediocre but we wanted to support a small local business so not such a big deal. However shortly after we finished eating a full lunch we were asked to pay and then a few mins later asked to leave because there were other clients waiting. We were only there 35 mins! When we asked to stay a bit longer because we hadn't finished our coffees, we were told we could take them to go. When we asked a second time because it was raining, we were rudely told that fine we could stay if we wanted. We left immediately. We will never go back to this establishment.

The coffee was good but nothing special about it. We got 2 ice-coffees and paid 18$, which I think is a bit absurd. We heard people at a nearby table talking about the prices as well. Otherwise, the location was nice.

Fantastic food, great service. This little place has an outstanding view and is a real food experience. I liked the coffee and croissant sandwiches. If you are at Gaspe, CA this is the place to have a nice breakfast surrounded by beautiful decor and outstanding view

Lovely cafe but did not a have a good experience with either service or food. The supermarket-style oval shaped pizza was close to being burned to a crisp. They do have a great selection of tea and the one I chose was exceptional.

Good coffee, food is alright nothing special. The service is good and fast. They having a unique decoration but what I didn’t like is the seating out side near of a passing street so u can see cars and hearing them but is like that in all the restaurants around this area. Can be a good option for lunch. I was with my kid and I didn’t find any kids friendly option.

Our veganism was laughed at, our requests were ignored, the food was bland, no efforts were made for our dietary restrictions, the waitress was insulting, the pizza was 3inches served with a tasteless salad, which was the exact same as the salad we ordered on the side. Care to tell us next time we order the same thing twice "TO SHARE" as mentioned? Never brought our "included" teas, sighed when we asked for soya milk, sent the other waitress in because we were getting on her nerves, witout the soya milk, or the bill that we'd asked for. There are more and more vegans out and about in the world, trying to make this a better, more respectful place, so if you'd care to give a non insulting service next time at the price of $35 for a non existing pizza and a salad, maybe you'll gain clients, not loose them.

We went to this restaurant 3 out of the 4 days we stayed in Gaspe! It has a lovely, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff there are friendly. The food is delicious - whether it is soup, or pizza or sandwiches. You can tell the ingredients are very fresh and good quality. I love all the side salads that go with the main dishes we ordered. These salads are gourmet salads with a variety of healthy ingredients (quinoa, kale, beans, etc.) and the dressing is always tasty and special. I don't know how some people do not like these salads - I saw the servers had to throw away untouched salads. What a waste! I wanted to tell the chefs they really made the best salads!

The menu is pretty good, but the service is completely out of touch. 5 minutes after we received the order, the waitress came to ask if is complete and to bring the bill, even were empty tables, it was really not nice not even to wait us to finish. Why the rush, we wanted to admire the great view there, this left us a bad impression. This was second time we went there. Now we avoid this place.

Like much of Gaspe unfortunately this is another charming, idiosyncratically decorated cafe with less than mediocre food and abysmal coffee. The food is made from preprepared dishes which could work bit for the fact that most are just not very good. No excuse for bad coffee. Ever. Nice staff though.

The wait staff was very polite and professionnal. The food was good, but the grilled cheese is a 12$ half sandwich. We ordered 2 separate meals to enjoy our time here but despite the waitresses's best efforts to make our experience agreable, the owner asked us to leave when I had barely touched my lunch. We had waited nearly 20 minutes in the pouring rain for a table, so being rushed after that and building a large bill seemed ridiculous. He was rude about it and then kept coming back to the dining room and staring at us so we would eat faster. It was stressful, confrontationnal and very unnecessary. We will not be back.

Great place for a breakfast. The crew is short staffed like many places around the peninsula but I felt a real desire they made sure the customers are satisfied. Food was tasty. The coffees are the gem of this place. And what a view - directly above the water. I definitely reccomend.
