This is a great facility for family fun. Includes a water park, library, workout facilities, badminton courts, basketball, etc. The pictures are from the hiking trail on the island. Day passes for the family of four is $30 and is worth it. You can come and go as you like throughout the day.

Tons of family friendly things to do in here. Facility is well maintained and clean, cost of memberships seem high but worth the cost if your going to be coming on a regular basis or have a large family.

An amazing venue for entertainment, exercise and active play. The spray park and pools are top notch. The volleyball courts, gyms, curling sheets and hockey arenas leave no doubt about their care and commitment to RMWB. The library is great and kid-friendly on the lower floor. Altogether this place is a world-class gem!

I really loved the park because of the amazing employees first of all. They have a very huge parking area, so parking is not an issue. They have a lot of fun activities and facilities. You can become a member as membership is available and cheap to obtain. Going in the swimming pools and on the waterside were my best experiences

The facilities are reasonably nice and there is definitely a lot to do. The indoor playground for children could be a bit better..but overall is safe, fun, and my son still enjoys it. The pool is a great size and has an awesome kids area, a lazy river, two hot tubs, two waterslides, a full size lane swimming pool as well as two other small pools and a great kids play area.

Team leader questions why going through gender neutral channels, made the situation very uncomfortable. I would highly recommend johsep have a talking to about people's personal space and information he can ask from customers. The facility very short staffed leaving lots of amenities unavailable, and cleanliness to be less desirable What was open was over crowded to the max occupancy, I feel the facility has lots of potential, but better staffing would help their achieve their goals

Possibly the best indoor pool I have been too that isn't a specific water park designation. Awesome slides, cool river current feature with water features included. Multiple pools for kids, young kids, diving, lane swimming, hot tubs, casual swimming, and they even have equipment for both children and adults, to seniors to learn how to swim. I have not had the chance to experience everything at this facility, but there is much to offer.

I enjoy being at Macisland always. The only frustration I have is that it doesn't have a basketball court and membership a bit expensive. However it's a great for physical activity. The gym is well equipped and sanitized.

Beautiful modern facility. The pool area is great for lane swimming, diving, or letting kids play in the water park. The gym is well equipped and clean, and the change rooms are immaculate. There are always staff around, and it feels like a safe and secure environment. The walking areas around the park are well kept, and there is ample parking.

Love spending the day at Mac island whether it’s swimming or walking/running the track. Watching our children play hockey or attending community events, very fortunate to have the largest recreation centre in Fort McMurray!

Excellent place. I give it 3 stars though due to the fact that they do not have a dedicated basketball court. They don't even have an outdoor court. When there is basketball theres only two nets in the entire place. Now that the YMCA is closed WE NEED A DWDICATED GYM FOR BASKETBALL 4 NETS WOULD BE IDEAL.

We moved from Edmonton about 2 months ago and MIP has proven to be a great place for a get away as it offers so many different activities both for children and adults. My 4 year old daughter is in love with her swimming lessons and the library inside offers a great deal of activities to keep the little ones occupied! ????
