This is what my heaven will be like when i die. I have gone to multiple stores on multiple occasions; for jackets, a purse for my spouse, shoes, dress shirts and other things. Everytime I'm ready to give up on my shopping i come here and they always have what i need. I so happy to share my experience about Mark’s in North Bay. The staff member, whom I only know her first name is; Bonnie! Bonnies been helping my husband find work clothing for his job. She has been so kind, thoughtful and truly a gift to Marks! Bonnie goes the extra mile to help, and during covid she’s been a blessing to “calm the storm” We’ve had the pleasure to deal with her now, on 3 different occasions; she’s like our very own “personal shopper” With covid we’re allowed a 20 minute time limit to get in and out of the store. 20 minutes is not enough time to answer all the screening questions, select your cloths, try them on and then pay! Well like I said before, Bonnie goes that extra mile. On the phone she she asked for my husbands size, colour and the style he likes. When he arrives at the store, she has a pile of cloths waiting for his to look over. She does such a good job, he always takes everything she selected, because she knows him so well from all the questions she ask. She takes time, listens and really knows shapes and sizes too. He’s in and out of the store in less then 15 minutes. She also told me about the bug cloths, as I told her (on the phone) that hate to go out side now, as the black flys and mosquitoes love me so much. Her husband swears by the clothing and hats to, as he works deep in the bush. Bonnie had my size of Clothing picked out in pants, blouse and a hat too, all colour coordinating, and I’m happy to say; I’m living my life again, out gardening, walking and sitting in the sunshine; the pecksy bug, bounce off me!

If there was another Mark’s here I’d say something like, I’d rather not come to this location. I’m not that lucky. Small town, one mark’s ... funny thing is, as I started writing this review it was up to four stars. The more I type the more I see, how crummy this place is. Two stars. Maybe if the staff were friendlier it would have been three stars.

Found a pair of boots online. Said four pairs in stock. Went on Thursday was told they might still be on a palett. Returned Saturday could not locate them. Asked for help and was told the person that does boots was not in today, and they were not sure when their next shift was. So I guess I cannot buy boots until this one employee comes back to work. Very strange business practice at this location.

I ordered a winter jacket online and it was way to big so I took it to this Marks location and AnneMarie exchanged it and ordered me another one. This is probably the most hassle free exchange I have ever done and AnneMarie was just awesome. My better fitting coat should be delivered to the store in a few days. Thanks everyone.

Returning and exchanging items at the Trail store was a mess! Spent almost an hour in the store to return 2 pairs of shorts and 4 shirts, and purchase 4 other shirts and 4 pairs of shorts. Have a freaking pocket full of receipts as the cashier screwed up the first couple attempts. Not a great visit ;)

Used to shop here regularly. 3 days in a row I went in with my family to purchase a few items we had picked out. First day we weren't acknowledged at all. After 20 minutes we left. 2nd day I felt bad because my wife liked an item so I went back for it. Same thing 3 workers standing behind the till wouldn't even look at me. After 8 minutes one of them finally asked if I needed help. I tried bringing her to the rack with the items I had questions on and she walked to the other side of the store. I left. My wife goes back the 3rd day on her own and was treated the same by the Male worker.

They followed me around the store like I was a theif. I had just got my OSAP had 500 bucks in my wallet in my backpack. After following me with 2 people they made me remove my backpack to try a shirt but then left my bag unattended. It was offensive to have these old ladies making minimum wage to treat me like a thief when they would be more likely to need to steal than I would. You are better off shopping online than anywhere in that whole plaza owned by same company. Canadian Tire, sportchek(i think?) and Marks.

I would have given it a zero if I could. I asked for a duplicate receipt to turn one in to work to be reimbursed. They said they could not print one but if I gave them my email they could send me a electronic one. I explained my email was personal and I did not give it out to random people in random stores. I once again asked for a duplicate receipt and this time the response was that it was impossible! So I said have a good day and left the merchandise on the counter and left. I will not be bullied by a retailer to give out my personal email or any other information I consider confidential.

I've always loved Mark's Work Wearhouse not only for their high quality and top name brand items but also for the atmosphere and overall friendly vibes that the employees give off while helping their customers with anything they need. Today's (Thursday, November 26th) isit was for two pairs of steal toe boots/shoes for myself and my significant other as we start a new job Friday morning. We both found exactly what we needed and as we were checking out of the store the kind lady behind the counter surprised us both with a "free if you spend X amount of dollars" gift card for the store that I will be able to use next time I go as long as its between December 1-26.

I swear, everytime I go into Mark's, the items I buy are in sale. Either I'm the most lucky man in the world or Mark's has the best sales around. The later seems more like. The staff is friendly and always helpful and pandemic measures are being followed. Being a Canadian Tire subsidiary, you can also collect Triangle points if you're into that. They've got a nice selection of work clothes for men, as you'd expect, and although very affordable, the quality is superb.

The level of incompetence from the staff of this location is incredible they're unclear how to bring customers in the store they don't know how to explain to people on the phone how customers are able to make purchases or come in. The level of misinformation is unreal.
