Biggest and best climbing gym I ever being .... really nice people and very helpful

Jessica Wu

Went here once as part of my membership at the other gym. Really big place with tons of options. Professional staff and really fun with cool training courses too.

Karl Gutowski

They have a great bouldering and vertical wall setup with lots of options, including a separate area for kids. In the back they have a workout area with free weights, and various grip training rigs. They have private changing rooms and adequate washrooms.

Cristina Vasilenco

Nice climbing center with very great staff. Very knowledgeable and supportive instuctors. Great facilities for different levels of climbing skills. Children had lots of fun today. Amazing place for family activities.

Adara Dillabaugh

Great gym with a good variety of difficulty levels.

Ryan Chan

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, however, after speaking with the manager (Andrew) regarding their newly in force $10 fee for a lead test I will never visit this gym again. He was was completely rude and disrespectful. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered.

Jessica Ly

Absolutely love Boulders! This location is great because it’s so massive! I got a membership and have been coming here for almost a year now and I love it! Everyone is super friendly and there’s lots of problems for any level of skill to solve!

Kadzy Shorts

It's a fun place to learn how to climb and get to know new people

Patrick Q

Always come here to climb with friends. They change the climbing set up on the walls often and make sure facilities are clean.

Ray Daniel

Great environment and friendly staff. Well set routes that stay up long enough to progress but not too long to get stale.

Alan S

Great balance of bouldering, top rope and lead climbing routes.

David John

The best climbing gym in Toronto. Huge space, with high walls, and a great bouldering rig. Renovated bathrooms!

Jawad Shuaib

Love this gym. Very spacious. Amazing staff. Everyone there, including the climbers, are extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to Farnaz, Anthony and Emma!

Cassandra Schneider

My kids love boulderz, we hadn't been in a while. Came over the holidays was very disappointed with the new pricing. Way too expensive for children, and no family pass options. Will not be coming back.

Sierra Shiels

Went there with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Had an amazing time, staff were friendly, supportive and made sure we were safe during all of our climbs. Will definitely go back if I have the chance.

Ian

This is a great climbing gym, especially for bouldering, probably one of the top few in Ontario. Their problems are fun, and staff are nice and helpful. Dirty holds, mats, and floor areas can be a bit concerning especially for kids or someone with respiratory issues, but they are improving, albeit slowly. If roped climbing is your thing, there are better gyms out there.

Bryan Dingwall

Great, varied rock climbing gym with huge bouldering and toproping sections. Been coming here for over a year doing both and recently completed excellent lead climbing lessons led by Jeremy. Jeremy's instruction provided excellent guidance and approaches to this riskier (but rewarding) next level of climbing. He gave me the confidence in safely catching the falls of my partner who has a decent weight advantage on myself. I highly recommend taking the classes at Boulderz if you are looking into getting into any type of roped climbing.

Gabby Khan

Place is great to climb, very nice staff and great energy, super fun place!

Maurice Sanchez

Large area for bouldering, friendly staff, the parking situation could be better, pricing is fair. Little bit intimidating for a first timer, clean washrooms, lockers available, and great first time experience overall.

David Spencer

Its a good place. Id like 65 foot walls myself ... but nothing bad about it.

Nick Hum

Great place. It isn't hot and humid like a lot of other places but it can be very busy here

Julie White

Took my two daughters are, 4 & 7 and we absolutely loved it. We bought the two week trial and heading back there again tonight. To see my girls climb and stop to think about their path, consider their next move was incredible. They loved it, I loved it and cannot wait to get back and climb some more.

Michael Denkowski

We visited Boulderz a year ago when it opened and it was amazing: clean, brand new holds, excellent route setting. Unfortunately when we went back, it looked like it hadn't been kept up at all. The holds were worn down, there was black residue covering everything (significantly more so than at other climbing gyms), and the route setting focused almost exclusively on upper body strength. This gym would benefit greatly from washing the holds and hiring route setters that aren't Michi Geissler. Re: response from the owner Thanks for the response. We were bouldering on all of the walls in the center area. Compared to gyms in other large North American cities (Vancouver, Seattle, Columbus) the routes felt about a grade harder than they were marked, mostly due to an increased requirement for upper body strength. Routes in other well known gyms require a variety of techniques that employ full body strength, precision hand and foot placement, balance, and controlled movement. Here a majority of moves felt like pull-ups and a lot of the routes made the lower body into an inconvenient anchor that had to be repositioned after each big move. Probably the best comparison would be in training for the different types of climbs. One of my favorite exercises is climbing with a requirement to maintain 3 points of contact with the wall at all times and freeze hands and feet just above holds for 2 seconds before connecting. This enforces static movement and promotes (what I think to be) good technique. At other gyms, I climb 3s and 4s this way and it often gives me a better appreciation and understanding of the routes since I have to refine each move. Here I was struggling to climb 2s like this and it felt like I was fighting against the route setting. For anything in the 3-4 range, I was using a lot of dynamic moves. By contrast, I saw some really strong climbers training with a restriction that they could only have 2 points of contact with the wall. This turned every move into a one-handed pull-up and was great strength training for the routes at Boulderz. I do like a good power route, but I think a great gym should have routes you can 3-point as well as routes you can 2-point. This is what the gym was like when we visited last year and it would be great to see Boulderz back to that style next time we visit.

Andrew Vrana

Great walls and lots of space. Good for both top rope and bouldering, although the DuPont street location has a more collegial atmosphere.

Brian d'Eon

Great place to climb with lots of section. People here are great too. The kids climbing programs are really worth it.

Lori F

This gym is my favourite so far! Their bouldering area is large with so many different levels and styles, you could be there for hours and still not be able to try everything. They also have a large top roping area but I don’t have anyone to belay me at the moment, but I’d like to try it out sometime. The staff there are friendly and super chill as well.

Marina Ito

Great gym with awesome staff

Alina Franchi

Tried for a few months, ended up purchasing the year's membership. It's an awesome climbing gym with lots of walls to explore as well as free climbing and bouldering . They do change the rocks once in a while to change up the routine . Great place for a fun, whole body workout. The only thing is I wish it were one earlier, a round 6AM or so.

Matthew Hendershott

First visit at this huge climbing gym. A lot of routes to choose from for top rope and bouldering. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's out of town for me but I'm sure I will return. A bit more obvious signage from the road might be helpful.

Lindsay Atkinson

What a great time! Although there’s quite a good variety of climbing walls, It’d be good if they’d add a few more mid-range puzzles (5.8-5.9). It’s awesome that they’ve added air conditioning, that’ll make the summer months much more enjoyable.

Gennaro Chofs

Great space to climb with a wide variety of difficulties.

Roe

Large space. Much larger than the junction location. Also has a number of auto-belay routes, lead routes and other fun problems. Great place for bouldering too.

Jeremy Hogan

Always new climbs going up almost every week. Lots of great people, staff and climbers alike. Lots of routes to climb or boulder

Ian Blainey

This place is massive. As a newbie, they have all the bouldering and harnessed climbing walls that you could ask for including a climbing wall/treadmill machine for continuous climbing training. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and understanding in teaching me belaying and helping me get equipment. Generally a really fun atmosphere.

Jason Mitri

My go to climbing gym in the city. Staff is very friendly, the facility is large and clean. Very open to beginner and advanced climbers.

Kristopher Stevens

Great facility! I brought my friends out for my 40th birthday and we had a blast. The staff we're helpful and Andrew the manager worked with me to make the bundle we negotiated work. In the end a few of my friends have since become climbers too. Bonus. Now if I could only figure out how to move the building closer to my home id be all set :)

Sophie Giorno

This is a great gym. It's so nice to finally have one in the west end. Great for boulderers and top ropers alike! My only complaint is sometimes the staff can be a little snobby. I've been climbing for about 10 years and was taught a certain way to belay. I realize that the technique was changed but every other gym I've been to has said that the way I belay was fine. Last time I went, one of the staff said he'd never seen someone belay this way and had to check to see if I was still able to climb. This was after I passed their belay test in 2014...

Sabrina Gerges

Great, clean facility with so many wall options and super supportive staff, climbers, and overall atmosphere.

Chris Nguyen

Spacious area. Lots of problems to solve and the unmarked ones were fun to do! They have a moonboard, climbing treadmill, and gym. FYI bathrooms are unisex. They should have a sign there.. was standing around confused if I had walked into the wrong one or not. Try playing foosball after a climbing session with a friend. It's hilarious and frustrating ????

Graeme Dymond

Great climbing location with friendly staff

Roy Ramonal

Great place to go when you think you're in good shape and want to be humbled. The staff are really friendly and seem to enjoy working there. Lots of variety and they change it up all the time. The place is well run and I would definitely go there again in the future. I think this would make a good first date. You can chat, you can belay for each other, you can watch your date climb and check out their butt (I say this for both men and women cause you know we all do it), and is a great place to take pictures which you can use on your tinder profile if things don't work out.

Darryl J

I absolutely love this gym. I’d like to shoutout Emma for making our trip there every single time enjoyable. Honestly best customer service all around. Everything I need help with, she help with all. I was never really into climbing before, but after Emma explained how it works and different ways to approach climbing, it’s made everything much more enjoyable. She’s also encouraged and educated us and my friend who is pregnant to climb and now our group comes in much more regularly with confidence! Also food is good ????

Boris

Nice place to climb. On the down side, sooooo many rules. You cant do anything without being talked to like you're a child. From sitting on the floor to teaching friends how to climb. If you're ok with dealing with an insane amount of rules the actual climbing is very good.

Kirby

Friendly staff, nice facilities. No complaints here. Price is right too.

John Knezevic

Great place for climbing... a little expensive when taken kids If it was on a regular basis

Vincent Huang

Place is spacious and they have some interesting devices like a treadwall and a moon board for training. Current set of problems were from a competition and are useful for developing techniques. Lockers cost money which bothers me a little bit.

Ivan Petrovic

Our kids go here every march break camp for the field trips... they love it!

Stas

Awesome place.Wide variety of problems in the bouldering area,Top rope area is massive. Not one of those overcrowded gyms, where you have to wait in line to get to holds. Staff is super friendly and place is pretty much open all the time.Great job Boulderz Team!

Melissa Shannon

I love Boulderz Climbing Centre Etobicoke so much space for climbers of all ages! Our whole family has benefited from this location for the past 3 years!

Brendan O'Sullivan

Facilities are nice, no showers, and a bit pricey for a climbing gym. No student discounts, only teenager discounts

Brian S

Great experience. Clean open layout. Helpful staff. Did not expect to see so many kids but wasn't a problem.

Mike Lee

Good problems. Holds are always pretty dirty though. Exited to see the new addition.

A A (Eckwitte)

A group of us signed up for the 2 week bouldering pass and it was great. They change the routes/problems often enough to keep it interesting and the facility is quite large.

Courtney Harvey

Big space with lots of room to climb. Staff is friendly, the environment is easy going, and the music is good.

Rachel Man

It's really unfortunate that I have to give two stars to this gym, because it has such potential! It's a huge facility with lots of varieties and angles of climbing, so when we walked in we were super excited to try climbing! However, once we got climbing, we realized that the holds were incredibly dirty - a substantial amount of holds had so much black rubber on them. It seems like they don't clean the holds ever. If they start cleaning them, then this gym would be awesome because the setting and facility is great! Otherwise I would not go back :(

Dan Vizmanos

Boulderz is a great spot. Not crowded at all this past friday. The staff was great and take your safety seriously. The equipment here is also very reasonable. Got my set here and is priced way better than mecks. Recommended. Reallyfun walls as well

Santiago Munoz

Great place. Interesting climbing routes, clean, friendly environment. A bit pricey but worth it. Would recommend to try with friends lots of fun

Giuseppe Gigliotti

Such a great place to challenge your skills! Clean friendly and positive.

Shivan Gobin

Fantastic climbing facility, great mixture of to properly and bouldering. Very clean and organized

Codey Johnston

This place is awesome. I go there 3-5 times per week and never get tired or bored of it. Friendly and helpful staff, great gear selection at very competitive prices and ample routes and Boulder problems. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to the Etobicoke and Junction location with kids just under 4 and I can say both locations have their advantages and challenges. For both locations, the kids didn’t feel comfortable with the harnesses so we only did the free climb areas. Junction - The area is much smaller compared to Etobicoke and if you have a toddler that tends to run off and you need to chase them, it can be a bit crowded and dangerous because adults and kids are climbing everywhere near the kid’s area. However, the level of difficulty is very low for their kid’s area. My toddler had no problem and did not need assistance with climbing up and sliding down (a small slide with a bit of a drop). There are cubbies to hold your stuff with no cost. Etobicoke - A large area with high ceilings and a bench area for resting nearby in the kid’s area. It was really spacious and it felt less crowded/claustrophobic. They have marked off waiting lines so kids aren’t close enough to get hurt if another child falls. If your kid tends to run off, you have enough space to catch them before they reach the larger adult areas. The level of difficulty is higher at this location. My toddler asked for assistance the whole time but I think with practice, she won’t need it. The slide is much bigger. Lockers are a dollar (each time you open it, you have to pay a dollar to lock it again). Both locations - Awesome and patient staff who were very welcoming and my toddler LOVED both locations, like, “stayed for three hours” kind of love. Also, give yourself an extra bit of time to sign waivers for everyone. Even the baby I was carrying had to get one. The smallest we got for climbing shoes was a size 8 at both locations. My kid is a size 7-8 and they fit great. I hope this helps any parents deciding on an activity or which location to start with their little one. My little one keeps asking me when we’ll go again. My review above is reflective of my experience so others may feel differently.

Jing Shao

It is big and staffs are friendly! Not super crowded and I enjoy my climbs there

Yamel vargas

It was amazing, there's a lot of walls that u can climb, the instructors really nice, tired but funny!

Alexandra Thurm

It’s an amazing facility. Very large and lots to climb and some good setting. I really love that they have a comp wall. However there staff always seem a little dis organized and grumpy. The staff are lovely ppl. I think they are just not informed well. Ex. When asked about climbing holds required for a problem they had no idea. Also when I was signing up for an renewing membership they seemed distance and uncaring. Maybe it’s been because I became a member only recently and haven’t gotten a feel for the gym yet but I haven’t found and sort of community. I’ve been climbing there regularly for 4 months and I’m a really chatty person. This could also be caused by the fact that it’s a commuting gym and most ppl drive home. Idk? Overall tho the staff are nice and there sign in and out system is super convenient. The gym has lots of fun stuff to clim. Lastly there moon board although does suck at both locations. Maybe it’s an issue with the Matt’s but it doesn’t feel right. Also they could really use a deep clean and have there setter more frequently update the app. Love that concept of an app tho.

David Duarte

Tons of new routes added in new renovation. Great facility. Does get VERY hot some days and I find the staff are hit and miss with how they interact with customers.

CHIKITO POW

Awesome set up for small kids and adults alike. Even when is packed, you are never waiting in a line to keep bouldering. It's a massive place full of challenging areas. They have a party room for events, and it looks like the staff is very knowledgeable and love the sport. We got a monthly pass and we go almost everyday after school. He loves it and it's empty around that time.

Spencer Young

Amazing gym, super clean, massive! A boulders' dream

A_Floppy_Boy

I've been climbing for over a year here halve of that time was on the bldrz team. But let me say that boulderz is one of the best places you can go, it's great physical activity and fun for all ages. If your thinking about picking up a new hobby I'd definitely recommend coming here!

Dominic Li (Domo)

Great place to climb although the price is pretty expensive for my standards. $23 adult day pass, $9 equipment rental combo (chalk, harass & shoes). The walls are incredible, lots of fun. And they also have a$35 unlimited for 2 weeks including rental of you're a first timer.

Dorin Newton

Spacious and offers different both bouldering and top roping.

Alex Rosano

Club was clean and the staff are really nice and knowledgeable. My only suggestion would be to clean off the holds more frequently, many of them were dark grey/black and I am not strong enough to climb with a brush to do that myself. :)

alex zvaniga

Best boulder variety in the area - staff are great - what's not to love :)

Aimee Nadeau

A wonderful place to spend the evening getting some great exercise in! the trainers are wonderful just be very careful and make sure you watch your children if you do bring them here. Rock climbing can be very dangerous if you don't follow the rules. One thing I would say is that they probably should have a children only area. Having children swing into you well you're trying to climb could be pretty annoying. They have lockers for a dollar here so a pretty good deal to keep your things safe. it may be a little bit pricey from what most people would consider a night out.

Bri Mastro

Rude, incompetent desk staff. Very dirty holds and mats. Won't go back, several better options nearby.

MJ McQueen

Varied climbs. Great clientele. Thorough staff.

Tracy Saunders

Very well run through COVID!

Sarb Gill

Best in the GTA, hands d....on the wall

Julie DeWolf

One of my fave places to top rope in the city. Huge open space. Lots of routes to choose from, many solely for lead climbing. A great feature is the kids area, which has lots of fun routes, even older kids looking for a challenge, but also keeps the rest of the gym a little safer when you don't have as many excited kids running underneath climbers. Great bouldering, too.

Mark Jarvin

Great routesetting! Lots of climbing surfaces, with more being added in March 2017!

Aerie Alguire

Awesome, outgoing staff! Super kind and attentive, had so much fun at my belay lesson because the staff members were so nice and funny. Bathrooms and changerooms are really clean too! The prices are awesome, most affordable I could find in the city. In terms of climbing, great range of levels for both bouldering and belay climbing, it really is a great place for beginners or experts! Some holds on the traverse wall and certain belay walls are too worn, but for the most part the holds are in great condition. Love this place!

Ricardo Ruiz Zamora

Really liked it. Staff was friendly and helpful. There’s variety. Both my girlfriend and my son found spots they could climb according to there abilities. I’m hoping to come back here again.

Sifa M

Fantastic experience and our instructor Jake was just wonderful. Ask for Jake for the best experience/instructions.

Jan Gorzny

Affordable rentals and day passes. Never seen it busy. Loots of difficulties available. Friendly staff.

JoBlack .c

"Walltopia" always my favorite bouldering wall , huge place with top climb , bouldering , the high light is the traversing wall n the training wall , totally worth for money !

Melanie Wong

Best climbing gym im the GTA. Boulderz Etobicoke is so much fun. The sets are challenging and super high quality. The gym is spacious and has everything you'll ever need in a climbing gym.

Paul Genyk-Berezowsky

Great place , very friendly staff and they are always expanding there gym with more awesome climbing

James Galbraith

Great place to improve your climbing. Plenty to training tools and climbs to keep you busy for hours.

Sabrina Akhtar

Amazing space in Etobicoke. Great kids corner. Super friendly staff took extra time to show the kids around. Very clean and bright. So huge that doesn't feel crowded even during busy times. Only downside is limited parking.

Meaghan Kavanagh

The best thing about this gym is it has a kid sectoon. Holds are older (or just really dirty and need a cleaning?) but it's got alot of space and climbs. Speed climbing is fun as I had never gotten to do that before. Staff are just ok. Not extremely friendly Major complaint is the ropes are very stiff and they don't have a student deal

Joshua Lomonaco

Great climbing gym. Good prices, though coffee is expensive. Parking is very limited and depending on the hour you go it can be very busy. Specially Sundays with kids and families

Tina Phan

Staff are great always available and attentive for all inquires. I felt welcomed, learned a lot and had a tonne of fun!

RICO

Great place, adults and kids can have fun and learn a new activity, also good for birthday parties.

For Fun

Had a birthday party there not too long ago and was not impressed with the facilities in terms of our party was in the corner of the room. Not just that, (I understand that there were renovations going on), however, the tables and chairs were filthy, garbage was not emptied from the previous party (they also were almost fifteen minutes late in departing), and there was no follow up from staff to ensure that we had enough tables or anything else. For the cost to host a party at this facility, I would look elsewhere, if not for the lack of a "room" for the party, then for the lack of attention and care that were given to us. I would give zero stars if I could but I can't so one star it is.

Dario Zgrablic

Not much that needs to be said about this place; it's pretty great. Lots of routes that change fairly frequently, bouldering, top roping, traversing and a training area. Highly recommended, which is why we're monthly members!

James M. Binda

This place is awesome! Good selection of walls to climb, well kept, often good people around. The staff are welcoming and very helpful in teaching you how to use the equipment. The price was good for a one time visit which includes shoes and harness but monthly membership is a bit pricey. There's also a good selection of protein bars and drinks.

Matt Azevedo

One of the best climbing gyms in the city! Spacious, tons of bouldering problems, and they have a cafe with coffee, espresso, made in house sandwiches, snacks and baked goods. The only issue is when it’s busy, it can be difficult to find parking.

Andy Lee

Awesome bouldering gym for comp training. Unfortunately it is super dirty. I really wish they cleaned the floors, mats and holds.

Guilhermo Golfetti

Pretty wide space with loads of options. The best part is, you can stay the entire day.

Ross Barrett

Great space for kids in their bouldering section. Lots of routes at all levels. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Ryan Anderson

Great gym, variety of top rope and bouldering routes updated regularly.

Amor Kumar

Great climbing gym, friendly staff. I never thought a climbing gym like this existed in the west end so I'm happy I found Boulderz.

Laurie Wright

Great facility with lots of bouldering and top roping. There is a good variety of autobelays and a kids room with a slide. They have also posted plans for expanding the bouldering and adding a natural rock top route/autobelay

Denise

Fun for the whole family. Very good staff.

Steve Ingold

I was visiting from out of town and had my gear with me, I went to the closest place to my hotel and was thrilled. It had a ton of space, comp couches to relax, very clean gym, some great boulder problems, lots of fantastic training areas, some great lead route on really fun features (stalactites!) and super friendly staff. Would love to see a slack line setup in the vast open areas. Can't wait for the snack bar area to open.

Dickson Kwan

One of the best bouldering gyms I've been to in the GTA

LPM

My kids love this place! very friendly staff, fun place, but overpriced.

Jared Mortley

Love this gym

Niko Omniscient

Had fun, very challenging! Good variety of options for various skill levels.

Brendan Neely

Decent routes. A little pricey. Holds are all very dirty. Staff were vacuuming around us for about an hour

Ilia Litinetski

This gym is more suited for serious climbers. The degree of difficulty of most rope and bouldering climbing routes is very high for a newbie like myself. The staff is always there to help.

The Robe

Fantastic facility with great staff!

Jonathan Bragagnolo

Good boulders and too ropes. Routes/problems get more difficult through creative and unique setters. Not arbitrarily smaller holds and a thousand crimps. Good size and rental equipment available

Brian Vrolyk

Great climbing gym. Lots of routes with a good variety of styles. Nearly every route has quickdraws for lead climbing, and there's tons of bouldering problems. Lots of space, so even when it's busy, it's not too crowded. Staff are fantastic. Brandon did my lead climbing course and he was awesome.

andre bartholomew

Awesome environment super friendly staff

Chris Dobson

I’ve been bouldering here for about a year. Staff are extremely friendly and there’s usually some fresh problems every week or two. Be prepared to see kids climb some advanced problems like they’re Spider-Man

MM - 09DM 745972 Applewood Heights SS

It’s a very enjoyable place with very nice staff but there is one staff member (not sure about his name) but he was a young Asian man with long hair who was very ignorant when dealing with costumers he yells at parents and kids and is extremely unrespectful and unprofessional and ruined our experience. But over all it’s a very enjoyable place other than that one guy but I do recommend going.

tanman81

fairly large facility. auto-wall was inoperable when we visited. not much to do unless you pay extra to do a belaying course

Christian Maralit

Large complex with plenty of bouldering. They also have bigger walls for top rope and lead, an additional bouldering comp wall, a moon board in their training area as well as a weight section for those who love to pump iron and get swole af. Y’all gotta go here!!

trish mackenzie

Customer service is pretty poor. We paid the full amount, did the orientation and then were not allowed to climb because we did not remember how to belay. But were not given a tutorial, or option to do a tutorial after renting and paying the day pass fee. Waste of money unless you are prepared to pay for a two hour tutorial to belay. Do not go as a spur of the moment fun afternoon.

Pierre Quinn

Super fun gym with good setting and lots of problems for all levels. Holds get pretty slippery. I wish the junction location reset problems as often as this!

S. L.

Totally love this place. New found hobby.

Nancy Condori

Super fun wish I was more prepared When I visit but definitely a must go to at least once in your life. Rentals are cheap I believe they were $5. You have to sign a waiver.

Jason Mehta

This and Joe Rock head's downtown are the top of the line facilities for climbing.

Daniel Hefford

I went bouldering here during the day on a Saturday. There were very few people here. I wish I was with someone who could lead belay because the features on lead looked really fun. They had some really cool problems and if I remember correctly a treadmill for climbing. Probably an easy way to burn all your skin off your hands but looked fun.

Nathan B.

I waited in line for literally 45 minutes to get started. During that time, the customer service representative helped others, delaying our sign in. Also, on a minor note, the ATM machine was acting up. The gym itself was great, but this wait time is horrendous for a one time event.

David de Boer

There is a big focus on bouldering here and the climbing walls are relatively low. The place is kept clean and the staff are excellent.

Alex Tran

There are amazing boulders to check out. They do set some cool top rope routes but it is not as focused as the boulders. There is a competition wall to try some cool routes on

iem Song

High recommend climbing place

Fraeya

Fantastic gym. Really good for first timers and kids. They have a lot of climbing routes of various difficulties; it makes climbing very accessible. For anyone worried about trying rock climbing, if you can climb a ladder, you can do this ;) . Also have a kids bouldering and top rope area in the back with a slide (the set the holds closer together so they're easier to reach). The place is huge and the sets are really fun. This is a personal note; just please, please, please make sure your kids are supervised at all times. Nothing scarier for me as a climber than having a small child run under me when I'm on a wall.

Mario Lauande Lacroix

addictive place. Good service and prrices are fair for the fun. Bring your kids-they will love it! A bit packed over weekends but not on alternative times. Good for a night climb as well!

Denver Jansons

Fantastic location, and staff

Suril Shah

Staff is helpful and friendly. Doesn't usually get busy till 6pm.

Karen CH

Great facility, large/spacious, clean, nice staff - my kids love it!

Andrew H

Excellent gym. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This place has a really good atmosphere to it.

Michael Laurignano

Love this place! I come with my brother regularly. It's got different bouldering options for all skill levels and I find the people that come here to be friendly, helpful and it's just overall a good vibe. Also, I really appreciate the safety precautions they've taken to keep everyone safe during covid. It's given a lot of us an opportunity to do what we love (climbing) while keeping us safe.

Nikola Andrejevic

I love this gym! I previously had a pass here for over a year and had just been taking a break due to injury. Speaking from a beginner's perspective (V2 climber), there is a large variety of fun bouldering problems to try and it's very spacious and not overcrowded. Additionally the top rope routes are also fun and often way less busy. The 50$ per month membership for students was also a sick price for everything provided!

C Pilsner

This was a really clean and well laid out climbing gym.

Serafina C

Went to this gym at the end of 2015 and loved it. Made it back up there this week and was incredibly disappointed. Holds were dirty and lacked friction. I go to a gym in my hometown (for a fraction of the cost) and they never seem to have these issues, which tells me they are able to be cleaned. I see no need to return..

Robert Lech

Great place to go top rope climbing and bouldering. The staff is super friendly and the climbers are very nice and helpful. I like how it's also located closer to Mississauga, where you'd normally have to go closer to downtown find rock-climbing places. Also, it's open late, so there's always an excuse to do a late-night workout :)

George M

Loved this place. Until the new price increases. Capitalizing on the growing popularity of the sport. At its roots climbers were counter culture dirt bags and nomads. These prices are an insult.

Colin Ball

Great facility, although the amount of cash grabs is a bit much. I’ve been a member for two years, and had to renew my membership after my annual (pre-paid) expired. I was charged a $30 “unavoidable admin fee” for the privilege to enter my credit card information on an iPad terminal. A bit of a slap in the face to be charged to renew a membership on contract as a loyal customer.

mark lowe

Friendly staff and a great selection of boulder problems and routes. With a solid training area with campus, moon and hang boards, all you really need is right here.

Dan Osadtsuk

I've been climbing at boulderz for about a year and it's an amazing facility. Its about 10 times larger than their original one. Plenty of unique setting on both the bouldering and top rope routes. You can spend all day there and enjoy a snack or beverage at the cafe. Its a bit out of the way for a downtowner, but well worth it. Located a minute off the highway.

Sareela Ramcharan

Huge place, lots of fun for people of all ages. They have different areas, pictured is the wall with boulders that you can do horizontally. They have roped climbing, climbing with the harness connected to one of those machines, free bouldering that’s vertical and angled, a gym, a machine where you can endlessly climb, and a children’s area. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair, and you can stay as long as you’d like! They also offer memberships and if you liked your visit the price goes towards a membership. Really cool for dates or birthday parties.

Brian Brown

I had a great time I've never done rock climbing before it was challenging and fun at the same time. A bit expensive to go all the time.

Joe Achhab

I've been climbing at this gym for 4 months now. Routes are updated consistently, place is clean and has a lot of friendly staff and experience climbers. Top rope/lead section is great, bouldering here is amazing. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

CY Siu

For a climber...its like a toy store where you don't know where to start but you want to see and try it all. This is one of the most amazing climbing gyms in the area with lots of options, good setting and room for training/relaxing. The question should be what doesnt this gym have?! Unique holds to foot wash stations and individual change rooms. The only issue I have with this place though is that the foot holds can get marked up with the rubber shoes a lot and should be cleaned/scrubbed...it makes things a lot slippier than should be. Otherwise all else is great here.

Mango Pike Pineapple

This place is awesome! They also added a new wall on the second floor. You won’t run out of climbing puzzles! There’s a sense of community here. People are friendly and talk to each other.

Thomson Hawks

Best climbing gym and community in Toronto. Excellent staff, solid route setting, mix of bouldering and ropes. Fabulous work-our area. Top notch youth training program. Very welcoming to families, birthday parties, and kids in general.

Joe Vogel

Lots of walls to climb on and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Ladan Eskandarian

My favourite climbing club ????????????‍♂️

Justyn Roy

Helpful and friendly staff. New routes weekly.

Eva Cherney

Great gym with really nice staff. Lots to do even if you are there by yourself, as there is a handful of auto belays as well as an extensive bouldering section. Routes get updated often! Especially check out the first and last 90 minute deals. They also have a brand new bouldering wall and a second floor traverse section. The new wall is very tall and has routes that are more spread out. Opened at the end of April. As well as a natural rock tower that is very fun to climb and replicates real rock faces.

Mark Orszulak

A great rock climbing gym in the heart of Etobicoke. I appreciate their effort in keeping the bouldering sections updated and constantly fresh. Clean and well-kept. As someone who took the personal training from Brandon, I appreciate the attention to detail that is given during the paid group sessions. The only major improvement I'd suggest is for the staff to be friendlier when entering or speaking at the front desk. This is the first point of contact for visitors, and I've found, personally, that some of the staff are unfriendly and even cold when asked questions.

Adam Noble

It's been 20+ years since I last went climbing - my kids loved it. I'll be going back myself next time !!

Ariel G.

Great climbing, and service. Too little signage, hard to find place and door

Raymond Yeung

Great bouldering place. Routes are challenging and exciting and plentiful and that is the main reason this place gets 5 stars. Lots of problems to try. Second floor has a vast traverse wall. Small free weight area, but that's ok. Private change rooms are spacious. Enjoyed my time here and have since visited three more times. Floors are clean. I find the holds a bit dirty and slippery but that's personal preference.

Cristina Martin

The best climbing gym I ever seen! Wonderful ????

Daten

Great climbing center, plenty of walls for all types. Staff are friendly and very covid safe

Nick Dymond

Very cool climbing gym with a number of different features. Tons of bouldering walls for all skill levels.

Adam

My kids and I love it here..they've recently added like twice as many climbing walls.

Maria Gomez

came with my bf a few weeks ago and the boys at the front desk were so friendly and helpful!

Sergio

A bit far for me, but undoubtedly the best climbing gym in the GTA

Вася Хемингуэй

Great selection of gear in the training area, rope routes and boulder problems. All wall are regularly renewed. Friendly staff.

Sam Varghese

Absolutely love this place! Gets super busy Saturday mornings so make sure you get there by 10am to get a good start. Ask one of the staff if you're ready to do a Belay test and they'll help you get certified in no time.

TheGooftedOne

Amazing staff. Very friendly. Huge area to climb in. Quite beginner friendly. I started 4 months ago and haven't looked back since. They have weights and a fingerboard/hangboard area to train. As well as a campus board training area. With not just only places for boulders but also rope climbing with a tall ceiling. The place used to be a warehouse. Bathrooms are always clean. Cold water fountains with a water bottle refilling station. They sell climbing equipment and snacks and drinks, even food. I have been going 3 times a week consistently for 4 months and never found any problem with the staff or facility. And their almost done installing A/C. Great place! Highly recommended!

Eduardo Bermudez

Boulderz is one cool place, as cool as climbing itself. Great environment, great energy, clean, friendly staff, lots of experienced and dedicated people in one big spot. No drama, no age or level limits. Many times I walked in feeling like low energy and somehow I get restored in every session, mind and body. Best wishes for Boulderz to reopen and keep going strong. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!

Vitaliy Latanskiy

My kid had a birthday party in there and love it.

Jeff Tebbens

Perfect!

Andrew Ramires

Friendly staff and excellent climbing routes keep climbing there challenging and rewarding.

Shneur Herman

Always loved Boulderz! Love it even more now as they're the only climbing gym around without time restrictions and time limits. Full covid precautions are in effect

Bradley Hallett

Great climbing gym! Really interesting bouldering problems with a cool treadmill wall, a traversing wall and an awesome workout section. I'd definitely recommend it!

Dennis Dias

Great place. Friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere. Has party rooms.

Nova Zhao

TL;DR: Dirtiest holds we’ve ever seen, facilities were neglected, and staff stood around doing nothing; not worth the $25 fee. Would not come again. . . . My partner and I had previously been to the DuPont location and were expecting a big new gym with nice walls and good climbs. This was, unfortunately, not the experience we had. First of all, the drop-in fee was $25 each (incl tax). This didn’t bother us too much at first, as we were expecting the gym to be pretty sweet. When we started climbing, however, we noticed that some of the holds were pretty slippery. Then as we continued climbing; we realized that the majority of the holds were caked with rubber, and didn’t seem like they had been cleaned in a year. They were so dirty that the top half was totally black and shiny (see photos). These were definitely the dirtiest holds we had ever seen in a climbing gym. Also, we noticed multiple times that some of the staff were just standing behind the front desk on their phones or chatting. While this would be fine if the gym wasn’t busy, this was on a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed. To top it off, there were children running everywhere, often times with no supervision. My partner almost fell on one who had run beneath him while he was climbing. This could’ve been avoided if the staff who were just chilling behind the front desk patrolled the perimeter of the gym. Furthermore, the bathroom had no paper towel and so there was a line of 5 people for the hand dryer. Would have been nice if that was taken care of, especially since their staff were just standing around doing nothing. On a positive note, the route setting was pretty good, albeit graded a little on the hard side. After today, we won’t be coming back here to climb, nor will we recommend it to friends, as there are better gyms only a 10 minute drive away.

Debbie Pope

Great beginner walls, had a great time on the auto-belays, bouldering and kids area. Plenty for climbers of all skill level.

Brenda Nickerson

Loved the Treadwall and the traverse wall, and I love how large the place is. It has a great kids area with a slide! Lighting could be better, and it's not as clean as my home gym.

Hans Ang

Area is very large, with roped climbs (lead&autobelay) and bouldering. Staff is friendly and there is a limitless selection of climbs for novices and experts alike. There are a lot of children and holds can be somewhat dirty/old. Still, it is a fun place to climb and it is very family-friendly (they have a children climbing section).

Kosta L

Great space, nice number if roofs to climb

Matthew Lam

Spacious with a great variety of problems to work on. Great atmosphere and awesome place to.hang out with friends and make some new ones

Lana Vukovic

I love this place.amazing, friendly staff, lots of fun, great for kids. This is a nice place to go on the weekend

Simon

Great facility and staff. Well organized and clean. Very informative and quick orientation for beginners right when you sign up. Excellent workout and lots of fun and challenging.

Carmine

Super fun spot to climb! Great space, great vibe (literally the music they play is on point) ppl are warm welcoming and willing to teach/inform to make your time enjoyable! Glad to have found it and even more glad it's close to home!

Arthur K

So much fun! Coming back again

Anne de Haas

Great climbing gym, friendly staff and a good way to spend an afternoon.

Gustavo DaSilva

Really cool gym! Absolutely massive in size! They have bouldering; rope/trad climbing; speed climbing and a traverse wall! Really well spaced out sections and diverse training area. However the holds are incredibly dirty, like tthey haven't been washed in months, things are really slippery :/

kaifart

Fun fun fun

Glen Brooks

Great climbs, the gym changes up the routes and problems regularly, experienced and up- beat staff. Best climbing gym in Toronto!

Mikias Zewdu

The place is great, staff teaches you everything if it's your first time. Wide audience from families with little to pros. Plus you get the whole day so it's honestly a bargain. Highly recommended

wwrcjd ?

Never disappoints! Best climbing gym in the GTA.

Alicia Mell

Probably one of the best climbing gyms I've been to in Ontario! This place is constantly looking for ways to improve the facility. The place is massive, has great setting both on ropes and bouldering, has a very extensive workout area and two treadwalls!

Tyler Janzen

Not enough chefs for a modern climbing gym.

Jiana Alnajjar

Amazing fun place. Suitable for families and a group of friends. Friendly staff and great environment. Definitely coming back!

Jacky Truong

Fantastic place for anyone who wants to boulder or rock climb. The staff and people who frequent the gym are absolutely a joy to interact with. With new problems going up each week, you and your friends as well as family will have loads of fun!

Louis Parai

Best bouldering gym in Toronto! Huge place with plenty of well set problems, a good training area, friendly staff/regulars and fresh made snacks. You can't really ask for better.

Lukas Sternak

Good fun good workout touch pricey

Andrei T

Every time new obstacles. Nice place to spend 2-3 hours easily

Bhyett Exp

great place for new comer. great staff very helpful. not to expensive. great for after school activity

Natalia K

Love this place. Good variety of climbs for top roping and bouldering. They have air conditioning now!

Anna Mike-Ebeye

Great gym, friendly staff and awesome bouldering section!

Chris M

This place is wounderful. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. You can tell there's a care for safety and cleanliness. Well priced and orginized. It's a great place to spend time with your friends. Change rooms are well maintained along with wall maintenence. Half price before closing is KILLER!

Mengdi Liu

Amazing climbing centre with friendly staff.

B Tizzle

Juat started going here. Lota of climbing options for all skillz. People all friendly. Only con is it is expensive but there are cheap intro offers.

Oresta Kovbel

Their cancelation policy for birthday parties is $50!!! No excuses, even if you just booked it the day before and cancelling well in advance. Very rigid and unaccommodating. I would not recommend it for that reason. Life happens.

Sanjay Vashisht

Best service. Staff is helpful and nice. Value is there. The whole package here! :)

A J

Good gym, had the potential to be 5 star. But I felt that for such a big facility, there could have been more problems. The walls were sparsely set when there was clearly room for much more holds and they could have easily used the real estate to double or even triple the amount of available problems. Not sure if this is a covid protocol or a temporary thing but for a $23 day pass, I expect more problems.

Dale Bryce

Super fun. Non intimidating for beginners. People there are having fun and supportive environment. Just make sure to get a tour so you know the proper techniques, otherwise can injure yourself.

Carlton Lai

The best climbing gym ever. I have just recently started climbing. The staff and the people are very encouraging and friendly. Thanks to this gym and the people who go here. I'm still climbing and I will.

spencer brook

Amazing gym for both bouldering and lead climbing.

Peter Bartlette

Nice climbing facilities. This is a huge airy indoor climbing and bouldering club. It's well maintained, doesn't stink like a gym, and they change things up on a regular basis.

Miguel L

Good for beginners like myself and my 7 year old son. Also advanced climbers I would think. Lots of climbing walls

thequeenslefttoe

Great staff and great gym. Has auto-belays so you don't need a partner if you want to climb. Also has a kids section so you can bring the whole family.

Krishia Go

Great place to go rock climbing, staff were pretty patient and cool with us noob semi adults. We rented everything out, and felt safe using the auto belays. There is around 9-10 auto belay options. Bring your own chalk or purchase some (covid19 era). Staff review with you safety procedures and hooks so you dont mess around and injure yourself. There is a large waiting room where you can wait for others , and also several change rooms. We tried out the treadmill climbing and bouldering , which were fun but obs we need more practice and exercise to tackle the rest! We didnt find the rates for rentals online so I snapped a pic for everyone else curious! Would come back again!

M Geneve

Top notch customer service. Good deals near closing. Can't lose if you do occasional drop ins. Monthly passes are a unfortunately expensive.

Stephanie Azzopardi

My husband likes climbing here...it's a good facility and I've been going with him and bringing our infant as spectators since he was 3 weeks old (so for about 7 months now). We went today to check out the new walls and I was told that I would need to pay for a day pass as a spectator (because it's during 'peak hours' but we've been numerous times since they apparently started this ridiculous 'spectator fee' and I've never been charged)...NOT IMPRESSED. I was also told this AFTER my husband and his climbing buddies already paid for their day pass and started climbing. I have told numerous other families about how great this place is to come to with their young children but going forward my thoughts and reviews of this place will be very different. I will not be returning and neither will my husband or the other people he usually meets to climb here. So I'll just sit in the lobby with my 7 month old...thanks! Also...nowhere on the website or posted at the front desk does it say ANYTHING about this spectator fee that I've seen

Alexa Wojtiw

Great experience here. Went for my birthday with a couple of friends. It was our first time climbing in a long time and they were great at refreshing us but giving us space too. Clean and tidy as well.

Joshua Mann

I had a blast here! Really fun light environment ! Staff were really cool and helpful! I mean if you are a rock climber or this king of being one or have a birthday coming up check this place out!!!

Kyle Door

Can find a good selection of routes no matter what skill level you are.

Herman Chu

Fantastic time climbing here!!!

Vlad Elkis

Love this place. This is the biggest gym in Toronto and the most number of auto-belays. No AC, so gets pretty hot in the summer. Great otherwise.

William Hay

Large centre with lots of options for all levels. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Enough variety to satisfy any group. Can get somewhat busy. Experience was definitely worth repeating.

Steven

Kids went to birthday party here. Had lots of fun while waiting there is a fooz ball table

Mohamed Taj

Place is very enjoyable. The staff is very nice except the young Asian guy with long hair who is rude and very disrespectful in dealing with kids and parents. He ruined our experience but the supervisors are great.

Cam Jamieson

Very fun. Kept up to date.

Michael Dalton

Great selection of walls and routes. Best new activity for not only for kids but also families. Climb for a week and you'll never go back to a gym again. I can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to rock climbing.

Muhammad Hyder

Huge climbing gym, excellent top rope options and bouldering, traverse wall. Small ish gym relative to it's size

Mark M

My kids really love this place. Though it's more for adults as a gym/workout place. Quite large and managed well.

Edgar Quillion

Best rock climbing place I have ever been to! I do enjoy bouldering and this place has that in spades! Not to mention that it is kid friendly too! Their section for kids has a great variety of challenges! And kids 5 and under get a 50% discount and free gear rental. They actually have shoes for kids as small as two year old. Seriously just be to this place! You will not be disappointed! They have absolutely everything and anything anyone could ever want. Did I also mention that their staff is extremely friendly and all of their facilities are ridiculously clean? They are the best and are also very very very reasonably priced given everything they have to offer.

Rina Rhea

Great facilities! Large, open, busy and the staff were attentive. Will definitely be back! Came back 2 years later and still the same great experience! Lots of auto belays and top rope options and huge bouldering and conditioning section. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Priced very well considering how big the facilities are.

Kevin T

I consider myself very lucky to live so close to such a large high quality climbing gym. They have a huge bouldering area and top rope area that has auto belays. If you're into climbing and in Toronto, I would highly suggest checking it out.

Benno Rawlinson

Amazing climbing centre!!! Please come to New Jersey :)

Dominic Kacmar

Fun place ! We had alot of fun here

Florentin von Frankenberg

GreaT boulder ing. Hard to get your lead testing done

ian biggar

Best bouldering in the city. Hands down.

Neil Campbell

Brought my six-year-old son to go climbing here. We had a great time together. Definitely a great place to go.

Frishta Rahshani

Wonderful place with great people. If you have not tried climbing or are looking for a new experience, I highly recommend coming here to try it out! They have starter deals as well! Large gym with a workout area that has a squat rack, a seperate kids section, training area, top rope, bouldering, and more.

Taras Kulyk

Best bouldering in Toronto. Glad it's reopened.

Emily Au

This gym has lots of diverse routes, boulder problems, traverse wall, treadwalls, and workout area. It's a great place to try lots of new stuff. However, I mostly go for the bouldering, and the problems are hardly ever reset, and sooo dirty!

Eugen Tkachenko

Awesome place for kids and adults. Our kid loves going to this place. Staff is very attentive and helpful. We booked and had a great birthday party at Boulderz. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with setup. They also took care of the kids and helped them with multiple activities available at this facility.

Mark Winters

So much bouldering! A premiere rock climbing place, with so much climbing for beginners all the way to the near top pros of pros. Quite a bit of parking as well and about 10 minutes from Kipling station. With Excellent staff and a well taken care of facility.

Sarah Floyd

Lots of routes for all levels. Super fun chill vibe. Great place to climb with like minded enthusiasts.

Christine Kuzyk

Gift Certificate Purchase for Christmas 2015 - Called and was told it was best I come in to purchase a gift certificate for climbing lessons for my daughter. Went to the Centre for this purpose. Once the gift was paid for, I was handed the gift certificate with a blank 'to' and 'from' to fill in. The sales clerk also verbally gave me the start date, and time of weekly lessons to write on the certificate, so that my daughter would have this information. All was good, until 30 minutes later, my daughter texted to thank me for her Christmas gift. It's December 14th, my daughter's Christmas 'surprise' is no longer a surprise, and I have no gift for Christmas. I phoned the Centre and was told that since my daughter is a current member, she was immediately informed of her registration. The clerk added that she hoped my daughter was surprised and happy with the gift, despite the early notice. Very disappointing.

Nichole Ghaney

Always such a positive experience there. Staff made sure the harness was properly on my kids. Super friendly.

andy tom

Big spacious place. Staff are very friendly. Recommended place to climb. Great with kids.

Dawn Pratt

Great place for a few hours of fun and exercise for adults and kids. We have also hosted a birthday party for our kids here- the experience was great- very organized staff to help out. You can bring in your own food, which I like. Reasonably priced in comparison with other indoor facilities for kids birthday parties. Also, the first 90 minutes and the last 90 minutes of the day are half price which is awesome!

Victoria Granada- Vera

Climbing at Boulderz is always an amazing and fun experience! The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and problems/routes are well thought out and challenging. The facility is kept clean, good prices and new routes are put up every week by amazing setters. :)

Danny Tanner

Great gym. Wide variety of bouldering and top roping. The staff have always been friendly with me, and the price is fair. Good times here!

E R

Great variety of climbing walls. Little loves it here, adults do to. Well maintained. Variety. They change the wall hold in the kids area regularly.

Jordan B

Great place to try bouldering. Good arm workout!

climb & beer reviews

Visits: 10+ Cost: Expensive This gym had such great hopes for it when it first opened, but sadly, it's been eclipsed by the nearby gyms. It's quite pricey. They have a tremendous amount of bouldering in the gym but it unfortunately is not turned over as often as it probably should be. Expect lots of climbs shiny with shoe rubber and thick with chalk. It's not uncommon to see a route up for several months. Kind of hard to find - it's in a back alleyway. Despite it's size, I don't think I've ever seen an injury in the gym. The lead climbing is very average. There are two arches similar to Climber's Rock but they are not frequently turned over. They unfortunately use what little slab they have for beginner's circuits, which, while I'm sure is great for them, kind of loses something for intermediate-advanced climbers that want to push on something different. This is all to say nothing about the children's programs, which I understand are fantastic. But if you don't have kids and are just out for a pull, you're probably better off at Hub or Up the Bloc in Mississauga, or even Boulderz other location downtown.

Amanda Ramcharran

Have a variety of walls and other equipment, like a mini gym area. Probrably the best rock climbing location in toronto

Karen D'Souza

Challenging but a great workout

john caracci

Great place to take the kids and have some fun with the Family. The staff was great and location was bright, design was amazing. It was busy, yet there was no wait for any of the activities

M

The only thing that is stopping me from giving it the secret six stars is that it's not close to home. If it was - I'd lobby to get Google to allow me to give 6 stars. This place is just amazing. Great for kids as early as 4 years.

Klaudia Pechera

Good facility, staff is friendly and the facility is large enough to experience new climbs every time you visit

David Wojcik

Great place. They have some regular weight training equipment as well including a barbell. Getting a membership is the way to go here. Sign up for the first timers program.

Anthony Nahed

The staff was very unecessarily strict. For one, you can't be on the mat if you weren't climbing which doesnt make sense to me at all even from a safety point of view. There was absolutely no one near me when i was on the mat before one of the staff members told me to get off the mat immediately. I was simply studying the wall i wanted to climb but since i wasn't actually climbing i wasn't allowed on the mat. It was ridiculously annoying and happened multiple times.. like even walking along the edge of the mat was a big no no. Which takes me to the actual walls for bouldering. Whoever designed these walls and holds didnt know what they were doing. Id like to think myself as an experienced climber. I am usually able to go up to difficulties of v3/v4. Here i was struggling with v0. It was so unecessarily difficult and the patterns made no sense. Overall horrible experience and overpriced

Daniel S.

This place is fairly big and at a good location (close to the 427). They have lots of walls to climb, they also have a decent area for bouldering.

Patrick

A great gym that has everything you could ever need; bouldering, belaying, a traverse wall, and tons of routes that are frequently changed. However, it does get very busy during after-work hours. I hope they expand in the near future.

Benny Shilling

Best place to climb if you want to train hard and not be hassled by "Instagramers". Its also a super friendly non threatening atmosphere thats inviting to beginners and childrens party's.

Rinky Sharma

Not enough walls and quite pricey for a blundering place. Maybe worth it during cheap hours but 28 dollars to be avoiding children racing around a total of 3 large walls doesn't seem worth it to me.

AteE Days

Just went today for the second time. Clean climbing gym and friendly staff. The environment (staff and patrons) are very welcoming and inviting. The patrons range from families with young children to teens to older adults. I noticed that the climbing experience of the other customers also ranges from novice to very experienced lead climbers. I took a climbing class which lasted 1 1/2 hours and it made me feel more comfortable overall since it's been several months since I last climbed. They have a bouldering area just for kids as well as more challenging bouldering walls. They also have auto and manual balaying walls (not sure if I'm using the proper terms). They have clean washrooms, foot wash area and change rooms. And they also have a water fountain to refill your bottles. They have limited food for sale on site: premade sandwiches, bars and drinks - average prices. I plan on going back next week.

Kolya POT

Vaccination required…What a joke, never coming back!

J Martin

Great spot for fun and exercise. We were beginners with young children and there was no problem. The staff gave us the appropriate training and everyone had a lot of fun.

Victoria Wolf

Always a great time and a great work out. My daughter really enjoys it.

Kristine R

I came here with my boyfriend and friends just to do a fun activity. None of us ever rock climbed before so it was a great learning experience. The staff was friendly and the orientation was quick yet informative. The facility is spacious and clean.

Nn M

As nice as the facility is, I'm extremely unhappy with Boulderz' service. I signed up for a two-week trial membership but didn't get a chance to take advantage of it because I got very sick a few days after signing up. After a few phone calls and emails, their staff refused to help in any way. Even management only suggested to sign up for yet another month-long membership, as if that rectifies the fact that I paid for nothing. Their policies seem to be too strict, inconsiderate and frankly, greedy. For this reason, I will not be visiting Boulderz again.

Nicholas Kanhai

Love it, great place to climb. A bit pricey, but it's a quality location with recently upgraded washrooms. Love e coming here with friends.

Mary Innah Calubayan

A lot of the holds were dirty and shiny. I kept slipping off a lot of the climbs. This made me climb less than I should've. The holds need to be cleaned more frequently. I don't wanna have to clean holds at every climb. Probably not going back again. Day pass is also expensive.

Greg King

Picked up some lasagna during covid closure. It was delicious! Highly recommend.

Carol Logan

My grand kids love this place.
