Some of the nicest most positive and motivated people in Edmonton work out here in this seldom crowded location. I like that they have heavy bag and plenty of free weights for the size. As with all the ATF clubs in Edmontin, there is never a line up for cardio machines. I've never even had to wait for a bathroom or shower here unlike some busier locations even though it is about tied for smallest club square footage with Kingsway. Plenty of parking in the plaza and very accessible both from public transit and by car. To fuel the mind and body before and after workouts, try some one of restaurants at the Westmount Food Court a block South or the public library right behind it. If you've earned a treat, or need more calories, there is a Dairy Queen about 50 yards away. Personally, I don't recover in order to train; I train to enable stromg recovery. On 'brick days' ice cream or even one beer can be a fun part of this.

Such a wonderful facility, the gym itself is always clean, well stocked and maintained. The atmosphere is very inviting, the staff, managers and owners take time to acknowledge their gym members and make them feel welcome. The gym offers a wide array of equipment, free weights, squat racks and even classes. This truly is a gym that feels like a second home. My husband and I have been members for just over a month now, each day we attend with our trainer I am reminded why Anytime Fitness is a cut above the rest.

Decent enough equipment. Kind of a weird lay out. Was told I had to sign up for a membership and that they do not do free trials. So I signed up, went on the website to book a spot to workout, then right there on the front page of the website is a "click here for free 7 day trial" button. Didn't appreciate that so I cancelled the membership, went back to my old gym.

Awesome place! The manager JORDAN DAVIS is an amazing person. I visited from jasper and toronto and jordan made our visit spectacular and really took the time with us, was accommodating and cared about our fitness goals. Joined 7 months ago and have been totally satisfied with my experience. Friendly staff, Nice and quiet, never too busy and has plenty of good equipment. I have been to anytime fitness gyms in other cities as well and have always found them to be everything I need in a gym!

Anytime fitness I give this gym a five star ⭐ review. It is always clean . Well maintained . Management is always on-top of everything . I can go at 1 2 3 or 6 am. Use the facility wipe off everything and leave . I would recommend this gym to everyone in Edmonton . Who takes fitness a must and priority. Thank you member

Very well maintained even outside of staffing hours. The gym consists of all machines and equipment needed for average gym goers. Would highly recommend investing in large Olympic weight plates for ground based lifting.

It's not a bad establishment as there's many times you can go workout during its slower times but during peak times can get a crowded for me in my opinion. But when it comes to trying to contact this establishment for any concerns it's hard, took me about a month for someone to finally help me out with my concern/troubles.

I am visiting from Kelowna, BC and I am a member there with Anytime Fitness. As I am in Edmonton with my husband who is having cancer treatments, finding this gym so close to where I am staying has been a God send. Clean, Lots of great equipment that I need, lots of space and bright and open spaces to work out in equals a great gym. Being a member of Anytime Fitness, I can walk in, do my workouts and walk out, hassle free unlike walking into other gyms. Looking forward to my next visit!

I wish to take the time to share how Grateful I am to Andrew(Manager) of Anytime Fitness Westmount. Andrew is a kind, professional, helpful, hard working and most of all caring Manager. I hope Anytime Fitness Westmount recognizes how lucky they are to have an employee like him. I live in Ontario however I am here in Edmonton to care for my mom who has been diagonised with Cancer. He has been compassionate from the beginning and helpful of what membership would work for me as I am unaware how long I will be in Edmonton. Andrew makes sure that the Gym is Clean AT ALL TIMES and he still manages to sign up new memberships like mine and is always friendly!!! He does it all!!! Grateful to Andrew and Anytime Fitness for making me feel welcomed and at peace while I workout. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Andrew for your kindness always!! No longer "women lead" as stated, and it is too bad, because the woman who signed my friend and I up was fantastic. The new manager likes to gather with cleaners outside the front door smoking, and has been seen parked in the handicap spot out front as well. Still a good gym, and overall clean; however, don't expect any replies if you do offer feedback.

I usually go to Anytime Fitness just off Whyte, and I haphazardly decided to try this one because it was closer to my office. I guess they just opened. The gym is beautifully set up and clean (spray bottles at every machine was a nice touch).

Anytime Fitness is Great. I can Use my Pass Anywhere in the World so it Saves Me Money cause I Like/Need to Lift Weights, Do Cardio, Stretch. This Gym is quite Big, Clean and Well Stocked with Machines and Space to Stretch. It isn't to Busy when I have Been. Westmount Anytime Fitness is a Thumbs Up.

I really enjoyed this gym up until they took $250 off my credit card without any notice. My boyfriend (who is also a paying member) and I frequent this gym and we hold the door open for each other and i got nailed with a tailgating fee right before Christmas. I have tried on numerous occasions to get a hold of someone but all voicemails and texts have been ignored. I managed to talk to Al (who claimed to be an employee) in the gym and he said that my card would be refunded or that the $250 would be credited to my account.This has not happened. I have now learned that Al is the owner and for some reason he chose not to disclose this information to me. If you don't want to deal with your clients maybe you should hire someone to do so on your behalf. I have also contacted corporate and have not got any responses. This entire experience is incredibly sad and disappointing and I feel completely taken advantage of.

Used to visit this facility. Awesome new equipments and location. Star deducted due to activation fee of $50. Was planning to rejoin the gym on a monthly basis and was told I have to pay an upfront $50 for activation fee, though I already have the FOB token. Never once I was asked to pay an activation fee when I decided to rejoin in the past. End up going to another nearby gym.

Great place to go to whether your a newbie or someone looking to have a great workout without the hassle and feel of some of the more commercial gyms. Staff and Ownership are very hard working and ask members what they would like to have at the gym, as well as being prepared and communicative about the way the gym should be cleaned post shutdown. Thank you to the ownership and staff for a safe place to better my physical training and maybe share a smile with one of the regulars. Anytime fitness westmount, you are the best!!!

So far so good! It's nice to see that there's multiple spray bottles and cloths to wipe down machines between uses, as well as spaced out equipment. Only thing I don't like is that you're locked to the location you sign up at for the first 30 days. This location is the smallest in YEG so you have to plan your workout times strategically.

*Update* I was promptly contacted by the owner and the issue was resolved. Thankful for the quick resolution. Cancellation is extremely difficult when you try to get out of your membership. I have been any Anytime member for 5+ years. Since moving away from the Edmonton area over 4 months ago, I have requested to cancel my membership 3 times by email, including 1 time in person over the last month. Because this club has such limited staffed hours, as well as unresponsiveness to email, changing your membership status is extremely difficult. I would seriously consider purchasing a membership at this location given the challenges of closing your account or connecting with management to make a change.

Follow up: *** I have since been contacted by the Anytime Fitness head office who dealt with my complaint promptly and appropriately. *** I had contacted Westmount Anytime Fitness in January via telephone where I discussed terminating my contract. I was told that my contract would complete with the final payment occurring April 2019. I then asked if there was an automatic renewal on my contract and was explicitly told no. I then asked if anything else was required to terminate my contract and was explicitly told no. I asked if I needed to sign anything and again was told no. I have since been charged again for a contract that I was told would not renew. I'm very frustrated with the quality of customer service I have received and the wrong information by a staff member. When I called in to discuss this matter the staff member I discussed this with hung up the phone on me.

I have been a very active member to this Anytime Fitness location and several others. This is by far my favorite gym that I have been a member of. The owner has consistently chosen top notch people to man his front of house. Previous management and current employees have been helpful, personable and always willing to chat or be open to constructive criticism. I will start with the reason I joined this gym. I joined initially because of the hours (24/7) and my previous gym had closed. I can truly come and go as I please, when I please. The facility is always stocked with towels and the bathrooms/showers are always in good shape. The equipment, several times in the past I have contacted either the manager or the owner about various maintenance issues, with the machines or little things around the gym. My concerns have always been addressed promptly and without issue. I am consistently impressed with the cleanliness of the machines and facility itself. Lastly the atmosphere, I have been coming to this gym now for more than 2 years and I find the staff to be awesome and other members for the most part are good at putting away weights and being respectful to others, and personable. Among other things the gym has done that deserve the positive attention. I had my truck broken into about a year ago and came to the gym, already being disappointed because of the damage done to my vehicle but also because the thieves stole my key fob. The manager (Aneesa) replaced it for free. Things like this, when I know full well they would have rightly been able to charge me and I fully expected it. They didn’t. Things like this have earned my loyalty and my trust. What might seem insignificant to another, at a time where I already was upset, they came through and that insignificant thing was huge for me on that day! Little things like this go along way! Recently I had an issue with referrals I have sent and I was not credited for my free months. After a miscommunication the owner personally called me and even with some conversational difficulties he and I had, he came through and made everything right. His personal touch made all the difference. The fact he cares about his brand so much too personally call me and make things right. I have to respect that!

Went for a tour of the gym today fully understanding that they’re not signing on new members because they’re closed at the moment except for personal training. I wanted a tour to see if this gym was what I was looking for to sign up when the gym opened however the moment I walked in the person helping me started trying to sign me up for a personal training plan which I stated I was not interested then continued to try and sell it to me. Then he was hesitant to give me the tour I wanted stating that it’s “just like any other gym”. Finally I was able to look at the gym but this employee did not even walk me through the equipment they have available nor the benefits their gym could offer me over my current. He also did not discuss a regular membership with me which I stated I was interested in when reopening happens as I have to give my current gym 1 months notice anyways. Overall the employee made it seem like I was wasting his time even though he knew exactly what I was coming in for. Disappointed and will definitely not be signing up with this location, maybe another Anytime but not this one.
