It is not a bad gym. But let's face it, shall we? When I joined, the Matt guy told me that I had to give a $50 deposit for my key fob. That would be returned when I quit. Well, the lady who canceled my membership told me to hang on to the fob, as it was my intention to join again come winter. It would have provided convenience, already having the key. But in the autumn, I was in a situation and I could have used fifty bucks. I called Matt, and he said, "we don't give refunds for key fobs" Well, now there is no way that I would ever join again... It's only a 50 spot, and that is f all. But I think that unscrupulous business schemes are suspicious. Despicable. I would have liked to have access to that place again, but I f-in hate f-in liars. I forgive Matt, even though he STRAIGHT UP FED ME a line of bs. So if you wanna go there, read your contract and if he tells you that it's a deposit, tell him that it is actually not true...

Really enjoying it here. The staff is really friendly and don't mind being personal with the clientel. They are open 24/7 with a wide variety of equipment which I have had no issue/wait for yet. And to top it off its inexpensive.

I signed up at this gym in October 2017. The gym was alright, little small. The staff was great. My issue was with the contract. It was not made perfectly clear to me that Anytime Automatically Renews your contract to a month-to-month basis without telling you or giving you a reminder. I was over charged 4 months of services when I thought my gym membership was up. Not impressed

Not the location I normally go to. This anytime fitness location offers good equipment and classes. How ever this location does have limited resources as far as towels go. So if you plan on using this location later in the day and want to take a shower just remember to bring your own towel. Other than that this location is alright.

Love the selection of equipment. Not too busy (when I usually go at 6am). Mostly I love the hours. Karina is a great instructor, if you would like to take a class of get done training! She pushes you while making it fun and she has great energy.

When I first joined this gym it was pretty good since it was close to my house and had all the basic necessities (very small space though). Unfortunately, when I tried to cancel my membership about a year ago due to COVID, it was the worst experience ever. I only signed a contract for 1-year from 2017-2018, and after that I was on a pay as you go basis. When I tried to end my membership the sales people told me that I couldn’t cancel because I was in a contract. When we found the paper contract I signed, it was clearly from 2017-2018, at which they still said no. They charged me for 2 more months before I went in again to talk with the manager and they finally said there’s no contract on file so she will cancel it. Please save your time and go to a better gym that won’t scam you or make you sign contracts. The managers are always changing but the personalities are the same.

Staff are never in during 'staffed hours' and don't call back when you need assistance It took three days of me trying at varying hours within the staffed hours to get in contact with anyone (who then was surprised to here that I had left a message, let alone multiple), by which time the auto renewal clause on the contract and 30 day notice of cancellation meant I had to pay an additional months dues

STAY AWAY from this gym!! They steel your money!! We were not using the gym so we cancelled our membership after we suspended it for few month. They still charge us even though we gave them 60 days notice!!! Not only that, they Never advised us that we still had access to the gym!! And guess what? They won't refund us!! I am reporting them to the Consumer Investigation Unit! There is no way I will pay for a service I am not receiving!

Clean, quiet and 24hrs open so you can work out Anytime. Staff service is great, i had a issue regarding cancellation of my membership but Matthew there helped me with the issue. If i ever decide to join a gym....Anytime @kingsway is where i am going.

Pretty average gym, but had plans to improve at the time of my visit. They're progressive in the sense that they are trying to stay current with fitness trends (got bumper plates, have small turf, etc). However, this place is always incredibly empty, so the atmosphere is lacking significantly.

If you are a real athlete doing vigorous exercise this gym is most likely way to small (my living room is bigger) and they make you wear a mask while working out which if you get sweaty you know isn't something you can really do. These guys have told me they were putting my membership on hold and charged me multiple times now. Stay way. These people are very discriminatory and will be receiving a human rights complaint from me. These guys might be new to the country my grandparents fought and died for but you can't discriminate based on medical conditions. You certainly can't ask me for my medical information. My family are lawyers and this is complete discimination. When this is over enjoy the human rights complaints. Think guys. Do your research. Look at who the courts are favoring. I physically am unable to workout with a mask and I'd love to hear you guys explain why I can't workout there without disclosing why I can't. Medical information is private in Canada.

I joined the gym at the end of October and it has been great! The trainer, Karina, is fabulous and knows how to make working out fun. Her group workouts are an absolute delight. The gym itself is very clean and well organized. I've seen someone in there everyday I've gone cleaning, vacuuming and wiping down the equipment. There are also showers and towel services for those who need it. This is a gym worth checking out.

Anytime fitness is like any other gym, its a pain to close their accounts. Also for the first month your fob key wont work with any other gym, which they breeze past quickly or be vague if you ask.

The gym is a cute little space. They have most basic equipment. But I noticed they didn't have a bench press. You just have to pull out a bench on the squatting rack. Overall not a bad place. Especially for your basic workout.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Regan is my coach and he is AMAZING! In the past, I have really struggled with getting to the gym and he is so motivating. He continual keeps my workouts fresh and takes the time to give me exercises that strengthen my weak areas. Management at this location is also AWESOME. They remember who I am and go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I love that they are constantly adding classes. (I'm not attending those yet... but I WILL BE). Great job guys!

Had more than a years worth of payments racked up and sent to collections while totally unaware that my payments weren’t going through at all! Anytime Fitness claimed to have attempted to contact me numerous times but I never heard from them ever and was shocked when I received a call from the collections agency. I am so disapponted with this place. Please do yourself a favour and find a better gym!

Small, quiet place and is open 24hrs. clean and well maintaned. was texting with the staff about my membership and i told them that i will NOT be renewing my contract and i wont be a member anymore but for no reason i am still being charged for a membership. i dont know whats happening with the staff, im unsure if they can read or not. I wasnt even being contacted after the last charge and asked if i am still a member or not. I am being charged per month but no contact towards me for not even visiting the gym during that period. Cancelled my member ship in November but am charged for December and January. Going to block the payments towards them and getting the charges disputed. Good quiet gym but horrible staff communication.

Not bad overall, but difficult and time consuming to cancel membership. Surgeries prevented us from being able to use the gym, slow response times from the manager and from the company handling memberships has me paying for two extra months (Feb and March) despite having contacted them mid January. It's not bad to be a member but make sure you know what you're getting into.

This place is mind blowing !!! Found out Bree is a CFL cheerleader she the reason why I became stronger and confidence she a great trainer, easy to talk to, fun to work out with, give good advice. She knows what's best she Brie mode! (If you watch wwe or total diva you will understand Why she Brie mode!!) There that other dude who also play CFL who also train people he got to bring that grey cup that I miss out on.. Hopefully next year ! Zumba is intent and fun ! Spin class is super popular Yoga is awesome for beginners like me I had the best sleep ever because of that class Mind blowing !

Buyer beware with this gym. I’ve been a member for a year and a half and have seen some pretty shady behavior. First major red flag was that I was continually charged during the first lockdown. Because you cannot reach anybody at this location (as mentioned in other reviews), I had to actually write a letter and include a recent news article publicizing gyms that were doing this before I got a response. Now I’ve been looking to cancel my membership for non-covid reasons and it’s impossible to do so. Even though it says staffed hours are 12pm-8pm right now, nobody is ever at this location so you can’t reach anybody or go in person to cancel. The voicemail doesn’t even say the company name... To make it worse, my contract says I can contact the club or ABC Financial (the billing company they use). I reached out to ABC Financial and lo and behold they have been instructed by the club to direct all cancellation issues back to the club. I explained that isn’t in my contract and that I didn’t sign for those changes etc etc to no avail. Keep in mind I’m also on a month to month, not looking to break a year long commitment. Take a look at YMCA. Never had any issues there whatsoever (actually canceled my last membership over the phone), and they have an amazing facility BUYER BEWARE

I deeply regret to have signed up for a membership at this place. This gym is run by unprofessionals! They promise you the moon before signing and are very friendly but what you see after is a different story. They said they would provide towels daily so we don’t have to bring our own, but for 3 weeks they only had them for 1 day and then 1 second time when I told them about it. There aren’t any paper towels at all in the gym like all other gyms in town either! One day the music is playing, the next day there is no music, and the same with TVs. I used to leave my sneakers there on the shoe racks, one day I got sick and didn’t go for a few days and when I went the sneakers were not there. I emailed them about it and they replied that they have them and they were going to give them away because we’re not allowed to leave sneakers overnight, and no apology, even though I was not told this in advance nor there was any warning sign anywhere, and many members did leave their sneakers overnight so how could I have known?! Finally, when I grabbed my sneakers from them and highlighted my dissatisfaction, the owner/manager was extremely arrogant and did not care. So if you value your money and want to spend it somewhere where they truly appreciate your business, stay away from here! Besides, there are several gyms nearby that are way better in terms of equipment, space and setup for cheaper.

A clean and vibrant gym. Equipment is well maintained and still in new condition. There are many machines to choose from and the 24-hour convenience never has the gym anywhere near full capacity. Towel service available with private shower rooms. The friendly staff makes newcomers feel welcome. Matt does a great job answering questions and personalizing individual’s goals with what Anytime Kingsway has to offer. For anyone wanting to turn a new leaf, Regan is an excellent trainer with many years of experience to help achieve your fitness goals. A small gym that will exceed all your needs for a reasonable price.

My reasons for moving to Anytime Fitness from the big gym was to work with my trainer Regan, of whom I met and worked with at the big gym. I worked with Ryggs in the scope of power lifting and body building for over a year. When it came time for mine and Rygans relationship to move appart from our training relationship, Matt Toth was able to help facilitate a positive move in the right direction for all of us. We all had the opportunity to do a lot of leaning and learning about each other during this slightly turbulent time, but hay, isn't that what family is about? It's not who we are in the good times, it's how we pull together in the hard times. Now even though I'm saying so long to Anytime Kingsway, I'm opening a new door with a well seasoned coach at anytime Strathcona. And I will always know I have a home at Kingsway. Best regards April

The cleanliness of this gym is far below the standard of other anytime fitness locations. The set up utilizes space well, but it is small nonetheless. The equipment isn't as high of quality as other anytime's. Not the ideal gym if you are wishing to lift heavy weights.

Small gym with big personality! Great place to workout. Karina the trainer has really changed my outlook on working out. I was upset about my time and money wasted by another trainer( at another gym) but when i met Karina, her style and motivation kicked my but into high gear. I got more out of one, one hour session with her than i did in six months with my other gym. I'm overall impressed with this gym.
